The place has a nice view and the food is quite good, just a little pricey.
Good food ambience was ok
Service needs to be more better and polite cheers 🥂
Food quality was like fast food , over priced . Been there many times before food quality has dropped drastically, don’t think will be going back again , disappointed!
Is it possible to extend the dining time to 1 hr 45mins?
Never care to drop a comment to a diner but this one is TRULY NOT recommended. The food is so-so and overpriced for sure. The service can be so much better or I would rather say there is no service at all. The cutleries even didn’t clean properly too :(
A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.
Far different service, ambience and taste with the one in pacific place.
the food was above average, and so was the price. Service wasn't bad but not impressive. Like a fast food joint
Good food. Good selection. Quite expensive. No lunch set. Would visit again
Service could be much improved, food was excellent and good quality. And did not have to wait long for food which was freshly cooked/steamed.
Great food wine service staff and
Venue we will be back
Food is a bit style over substance. But ambience is lovely in an airy with contemporary decor. Attentive service.
We poured water on floor, But no one mop it up or change another table for us
Some of the service staff weren’t very attentive or proactive
It has been my 5-6 times visiting dim sum library (elements), the service from entrance to waiter is still generally poor for a restaurant with this kind of food quality and price level.
To be frank, most staff are not very friendly and welcoming.
Would have not come back if the food is not this good and given that the fact there are not many choices of restaurants at elements mall.
Food, services and environment are good except may be a bit noise due to other customers..
Could not compare with restaurant at Central, specifically in Services
good food overall.
Loved their mapo tofu in sizzling pot , egg fried was amazing.
also ordered baramundi fish , it was simple and great tasting.
would definitely come back again.
Everything was very nice, very innovative dim sum dishes, and very kind service.
Only complaint is that the aircon is too cold.
Good food, service was just average, but nothing wrong per se. The restaurant is not cheap, but I like the creativity on their menu. A good selection of vegetarian dishes as well.
The food is outstanding. We had the set menu and changed out one item we'd tried before and not enjoyed for a personal favorite. We were both moaning at the table. My job will make us depart HK next year for a new location and my husband already made me agree that Dim Sum Library will be our last meal in Hong Kong. The sea urchin and crab spring roll will be in my culinary dreams for years. The wagyu beef puff is fantastic, the xiaolongbao perfect. Oh man, the truffle chicken was incredible. The chocolate caramel mochi is perfection. It's been a few days since we ate there and I can still remember each plate. We did think the seafood fried rice was really dry.
The service was very accommodating and efficient. The server knew a lot about the wines and let us try three before deciding on a bottle that paired perfectly.
The speed of the plates coming out was great. Not too fast so that we felt rushed, but just right so they gave us enough time to truly enjoy each plate and have conversation in between.
First of all, your chef did a great job and the food was delicious.
However, don't let your service ruin the business, I mean it.
Last but not least, here is the experience to share and some recommendation.
I was arrive at your reception around 1.45pm and see some of your staff are working inside the restaurant. I've waited for around 8-10mins outside and no one respond to us. Finally, I decide to walk into the restaurant and finally a waitress aware of me.
She told me that she is the only one to set up the table and being a receptionist as well.
Suggest to provide the proper training to ALL your customer facing staff on their communication skills. Customer's expectation always high, especially the first impression of first connection. I'm fine to wait, but you just need to acknowledge you notice the customers are waiting. In fact, my friend ask me to leave for others tons of restaurant in Elements.
DO NOT blame the company about lack of resources, blah blah blah, the customers are paying the food and service. PLEASE provide the proper training to your staff and wish you all the very best in future.
Good food nice area love it .will be back for sure
the restaurant was closed! Apparently it had been closed for the past few weeks. Pls update your database and stop reservation. A wasted trip!
The food was great, the options were plentiful and there were some good original flavour options to complement your Dim Sum staples.
The environment is well decorated and the seating arrangements are spacious.
The staff are nice and look well after their guests.
The overall meal was good; the food was unique and exciting compared to a regular dim sum restaurant.
The one thing that let us down is when there was a nice table in the main dining area the manager (dressed in a blue suit). Tried to seat us next to the washing up area at the back on a far table even though we booked in advance. When we complained he refused to move us first then after further attitude he finally did.
He then proceeded with this attitude every time he served us for the entire meal and when he served our rice rolls (cheung fun) he slapped them down so hard on the table that the soy sauce went on the table and we had to ask another waiter to clean up.
Food, Ambience! Perfect
Manager dressed in blue: fire this guy
Food was great as usual, but was shocked at the attitude of the manager. Will go to the Pacific Place branch instead next time.
The foods are nice and innovative. Not value for money.
Dun expect too much. Food is not good enough to pay the amount.
Nice and unique dim sum, I especially enjoyed the sea urchin spring rolls and the spicy noodles. Tea is pretty good too. Nice spacious setting for catch up meals
staff training is definitely required for both manager level and waiter level
it would be a waste that Dim Sum library serves good food with below standard service
will visit again for the food and love to see an improvement in the service
Always have a delicious meal at the restaurant. Never had a bad dish and quite refuse to dine here.
Was a little surprised at the distance between tables , they were less than a meter apart inspite of more than 50% of the restaurant being cordoned off .
Other than this excellent as always
A bit pricy for the food they offer, although the service is good and the ambience is nice.
Food quality is good; however, the decos and ambience are a bit underwhelming.
Unfortunately my husband and felt sick the next day. Both of us had cramps and bloated stomach. That was the only meal we ate outside.
Great menu, great service, food was excellent. It’s a bit overpriced so that’s why I gave them only 4 stars.
Special Dim Sun dinner with our kids who moved to Hong Kong six months ago. We have eaten our way thru various parts of the island during our two week visit, and the food and service at Dim Sum Library were tops!
Food didnt taste as good as the branch at Pacific Place.
We booked a table for 2 on the day of dining via OpenTable. When we arrived the restaurant on time, it was not busy at all. The waitress just causally led us to a table which is close to the front door. I think they should have planned the seatings ahead of our arrivals instead of just picking whatever table left for us to sit. We asked the waitress if we could sit inside which is supposed to be quieter and close to the windows, she did that but just halted half way through and said the more inside area was closed tonight. We thought it is a bit weird as people were sitting around that area but anyway we followed the instruction. However, the inside area was soon opened for seatings though the outside area wasn't full at all and our seats were very close to the table next to us and I could hear every single word the ladies next to me were chatting. The experiences wasn't up to my expectations given such a high-end dim sum place in such an elegant shopping mall. I think I won't be visiting DSL soon given that there are many other better options around.
