The sauce for the green bean dish as described on the menu seemed interesting, so I ordered the eggplant dish with the green bean dish sauce. The eggplant with the sauce from the green bean dish was delicious. I do not remember the full sauce, but I think it contained garlic and sesame oil.

It is hard to describe what was probably the worst service ever received at a restaraunt. First we were sat in a corner and ignored till we finally has to speak up, Then we ordered and watched as our meal was served to another table, The person who took our order asked how everything was and if we wanted dessert and we informed him that we think our meal was served to another table and had not been served , He then said he would give us fre dessert and we were grateful but reminded him we still had not recurved our dinner, he said of course , A different server then preceded to being us the dessert still again before the meal, then we watched as the table who revived our meal the first time had the dish served again and they were confused and said they had already received. That waiter look around confused and I informed him I think it was ours probably 90 minutes after we ordered :( , they ended up giving us 15% off dish but because my hubby was so hungry he ate the dessert served ( which was NOT) the one ordered , in conclusion what a mess and I picked this place for my birthday ☹️

Quality of the food seems to have declined some. I had Noodle Soup that was bland with very few noodles and little lamb. Also, they are phasing out their liquor service. Beer no longer available and they are selling off their wine and alcohol stock. I hope this doesn't cause them to lose customers.

The food we did receive was good, but unfortunately one dish we didn’t get (burned twice by kitchen) was the one we were hoping for. They did take 20% off our bill for the inconvenience of waiting. We will be back definitely.

Brighly decorated with colorful artwork and an upper loft type of seating, on a warmer day it would have been more enjoyable. The temperature was in the mid 50s in the restaurant and rather ineffective space heaters located throughout. One would expect that the staff would offer some type of apology. Nope.... In any other circumstance we would have walked out and gone elsewhere. The menu on line reassured us it would be worth the sacrifice of dining indoors at outdoor temperatures. We immediately ordered hot tea which was very flavorful. Everything we ordered was delicious and would return in the spring or fall because who knows, maybe the air conditioning does not work either.

Would recommend takeout and advanced research of menu items. Service left much to be desired. We froze at our table (inside). Two of four food items were delicious, one was good, and one was absolutely horrible (no flavor, practically no meat, what looked like canned vegetables). But the delicious items would make ordering out sometime worth it.

This restaurant is just outside the Cleveland Park Metro Station. You can enjoy good food and good service. My cucumber salad had my four favorite ingredients--cucumbers, onions, peppers, and olives. I enjoyed the homemade pulled noodles with lamb.

The food was so delicious and the wait staff very kind. Everyone enjoyed their food (including our 9 and 12 year olds). We were there on Christmas night and it was very very busy. They were really overwhelmed with a full house and a lot of take out orders, but recognized that and were very apologetic about the wait and gave us several free dishes and another round of drinks because of it. It was obvious everyone working there was working very hard to keep up with everything. We definitely will be back.

Great dinner experience. So convenient, at Cleveland Park Metro. We went early so it was quiet. Great, friendly service. We loved the food. A great way to experience Uighur culture! Service wasn’t that great…had to get servers attention to just greet us. The appetizers were better than entree…my entree tasted like food court chow mein, although plate was steaming it didn’t seem fresh but more so reheated. Def try the calamari and samsa!

Good fare at a reasonable price when you’re looking for something not too fancy. Food tends to be on the spicy end, so take that into account when you order and be sure to specify how much spice you want.

The food was delicious and unique. We had the Korma Chop and the Dry Fried Chicken. Both had great flavor and the noodles were excellent. The only negative was a local man screaming outside the metro station for the entire meal...oh well, that's the city for you! Servers were overwhelmed but working hard and very pleasant. Give it a try, it's well worth a visit.

We were basically put at a table and forgotten about until one order arrived but no silverware. Then we had to flag someone down for water. Then the second meal arrived 10 minutes after the first. Never saw the waitress again. Had to flag down someone for the check. And the lamb was greasy. We will never go there again.

The owner—or someone related to the restaurant—paced around without a mask next to my table for a while. This was quite annoying. The food was quite greasy. I did like the meat bun. My waiter was very good, very attentive.

The menu is quite extensive and difficult to decide among many good looking dishes. We chose to ask the server for favorites and we were not disappointed. One dish was too much for one serving, but made very good lunch the next day. I certainly will go back. Very good experience.
