   We stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is located and thought it would be nice to eat here after a long day of sightseeing. We were so wrong. I honestly cannot think of a single good thing to say about this restaurant other than we got in right away with a reservation. The waitstaff and mangers were inattentive and almost rude. We had to ask for more drinks and ask where our food was after waiting over 45 minutes. When we finally got our food it was cold and poorly executed. The managers never came to check on us after we told them about our bad experience, and the waiter never came to explain our food was taking longer than expected. A truly horrible experience.

   Good pizza and I loved how you could get the pasta in either a small or large portion. Beautiful setting, albeit a bit loud but blame that on the room design, in a great location with attentive staff.

   Per our waiter and the manager, the kitchen was off last night. Arugula salad was good. Meatballs & polenta good. Pizza was sooo salty and not good. Dishes came Out in odd order and not hot.

   Every course of our meal was excellent. It was so nice to be able to get Gluten Free pasta made without cross-contamination and to have a waiter who fully understood the menu and its offerings.

    Food was medical at best. The focaccia was dense. The salad was very good. The pasta with shrimp dish I ordered was just okay and had very little shrimp.

    Arrived 10 minutes prior to reservation. Hostess asked us to get a drink at the bar though there were plenty of open tables. She was not welcoming, kind of snotty. Server was quick but not friendly, and the person who brought out the appetizers and food was beyond rude and pushy. This guy was not right. Food average at best though not cheap. Skip this one.

    Wonderful experience from the lovely ambiance to our server to the delicious food. Try the roasted cauliflower with feta, to die for! Everything was fabulous and prices were surprisingly reasonable!

    I would not recommend this restaurant. My caesar salad barely had any dressing and was just greens and a few small croutons. I asked for more and a good portion was delivered quickly so I could add some. The bread was just so-so. My rigatoni had lots of tomatoe sauce but it was very heavy with crushed red pepper flakes and took away from the flavor so I did not care for it at all. The meatballs were very good. No parmesan cheese was offered and the waitstaff wasn't readily available to ask for some. I was celebrating my birthday so they did give me some excellent ice cream and cookie as a free dessert and that was the best part because it was a generous portion and it tasted so good. This restaurant did not come across as an authentic Italian place as I had hoped. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming and our waitress was busy but good.

    Very pleasant server made a mess of things but Manager resolved very well. Server needed better training but then again probably difficult to even find workers. Again Mangr made Dom a winner

    A very good restaurant, but nothing special. I expected something a bit more unique. That said, there was nothing bad about it either. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was tasty and prepared well, but you can get that in many places here in town, especially for the price.

    Wonderful meal at Domenica. Our waiter Ryan was outstanding - friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, helpful in making suggestions, and very attentive during our meal. The food was excellent, from the drinks and appetizers to the pastas to the desserts. Nicely varied menu with everything from pizza and pasta to larger entrees, and the pasta dishes are available in both small and large serving sizes, which was a plus. The ambiance was high energy, lots of full tables and conversation going on, but more like a big happy family dinner vibe than anything. Would highly recommend Domenica!

    Was at the Roosevelt Spa and decided to drop in at Domenica. Service is always impeccable, and food is always fresh, authentic, delicious, and a beautiful presentation. My girlfriend and I watched a wedding gathering outside the church across the street as we sat by the window. Domenica never disappoints!

    When there are events at the Saenger I suggest the restaurant do timed seatings for at least half of their restaurant. I had a reservation but was kept waiting until I asked to sit in the bar so we could get out in time. You could tell most people were going to the event across the street as the restaurant emptied out by 715. It was extremely busy and chaotic but the bartender did his best to get us out in time.

    No complaints about service at all, it was a busy Sunday night and our server was great! The food was just fine, honestly underwhelming for the cost and setting. The pasta was undercooked- beyond al dente, and the meatballs were just not good. Overall I would probably not return as there is better and less expensive Italian food elsewhere in the city.

    We had a great dinner here with our 4 kids. Great food and service. Pizzas were amazing. Pastas were also really solid. I’d highly recommend the pasta with shrimp and chili. I’d order it again in a heartbeat. For starters the grilled octopus was perfect and the presentation was amazing. If you’re looking for amazing pizzas and pasta in the big easy - this is THE place to go. Very kid friendly too.

    This was a perfect spot for dinner before the concert at the Orpheum. The Pizza was yummy as was the Rabbit and Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle. The Tiramisu was meh but the Mascarpone and Cherry Gelato was amazing. All in all the restaurant was good with good quality ingredients. It was a bit loud though. We will definitely return, especially when we go to the Orpheum.

    Food was less than average quality for an Italian restaurant. Pasta tasted like other dishes (maybe used pans without proper Cleaning? I hate when I can taste other dishes, they were definitely reusing something. Food was extremely salty. Service and ambience was good but food was disappointing

    Out favorite restaurant in New Orleans, the service and food are amazing! We had the pleasure of having Lee take care of us last night, she was great and we will be back to see her soon. Kelly the manager was also very helpful and really enjoyed talking with her. Last night again proved why Domenica is our favorite restaurant.
