   a beautiful, cosy restaurant on a bustling soho street! genuinely kind servers and were constantly checking up on our experience to see if we were happy. had been told they have only been open for four months, but the management of the place was great. generous servings of food, the pork belly was fantastic and cooked to perfection, really soft. the pappardelle was excellent - maybe a bit too much wine in the sauce but that’s probably as i’m not the biggest fan of wine in general. desserts were excellent as well, definitely recommend getting the tiramisu for two because it’s also very generous with its portions but still absolutely delicious. all round a memorable meal and will definitely come back again :)

   We celebrated my husbands birthday last night and we had such a lovely evening. Relaxed but yet felt special. We received a welcome drink on arrival and were then assisted with our choice of wine which was an excellent Barolo. We had a few smaller plates followed by a pasta dish each. The Tiramisu was incredible.. The restaurant owner came to speak with us multiple times which was a nice touch. Overall we had a really great meal in a sweet restaurant in the middle of soho. I’ll be back with friends without a doubt!

   The place was not packed it was Mother’s Day but as the restaurant is not open usually on Sundays you can understand why this is going to be a paved day. Very nice food not the usual menu - steak amazing, got a lot of free curtesy drinks - soufflé amazing !!! Service excellent chef came out to explain the dishes which was fantastic opportunity to talk and see his passion for the dishes he prepares ! Amazing will defo go back

    Our first visit to Doppo and wow, it so exceeded expectations. The team are so attentive and professional with superb knowledge of the menu and wine list. Giuseppe and Jasmin were just spot on. Food was exceptional, the octopus, turbot, saffron risotto with beef cheeks were the stand outs. We will be back!!

    Came here to celebrate a project go-live. Great food, very attentive staff and the complementary drinks for the restaurant celebrating 4 months in business were a very nice unexpected bonus. Highly recommend.

    Has such an amazing meal and experience at Doppo for my boyfriends 30th! The staff were lovely and attentive, the food was amazing - we had pasta dishes and there was loads of meat in them. The sommelier was really helpful and wine was not too expensive for a really nice bottle. The whole night was really great and would highly recommend. Thank you!

    Starter of English charcuterie was good with well-paired Sicilian wine. The pappardelle was full of flavor, albeit a bit overcooked. The mighty tiramisu and espresso were fine. Service was excellent (sorry guys for leaving a Dutch-style tip. Only realized later the tipping etiquette of London). A gem

    Great dinner at Doppo.Food was delicious, especially the turbot was outstanding. The staff was also very attentive. The only minus would be that at the beginning of the service there was no soap in the bathroom. We’ll be back for sure.

    I could not fault our evening at Doppo! I was celebrating my birthday and my experience in this fabulous Italian restaurant certainly made it one to remember. It was a Saturday night in Soho but at no time did my husband and I feel that we were being rushed. Every member of staff was knowledgeable, helpful and just delightful. Doppo has the elegance of a fine dining restaurant with beautifully curated, original & interestingly delicious dishes to match. We felt as if we had been transported out of the busy streets of London into the warm hug of contemporary Italy. Italian could be heard at many of the surrounding tables! This new addition to Dean St. deserves every success and I much look forward to my next trip to London as I will certainly be booking a table at Doppo.

    Had a lovely night. The waiter Jay was very funny and treated us like a VIP. The wine knowledge was incredible! The lamb shank special is a must try. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks Doppo :)

    What an amazing little gem! The food was incredible. They use local products which is great and good for the environment and they prepare simple but very good food. The wine selection was also very good especially considering the price mark up. The service has been incredible too. The owner has such an elegant manner and he definitely knows about good quality ingredients, how to treat customers and give the best service! It felt very personal. I hope it won’t become a chain! For a place in Soho of that size you’d expect crowded sitting plan but no, the owner thought about leaving space for customers so it didn’t feel like you were sitting with someone else. Will go to this place over and over again to ensure it continues to do business this way!

    My boyfriend was raving about the pork belly he had here and insisted on taking me. As a 3* chef, I tend to go out with not so high expectations. But I was blown away. The service is impeccable. The staff is not only incredibly well trained, but also friendly and attentive. The food was surprising, the menu interesting. And it’s great value for money too. It’ll definitely be on my list of London favourites. In a way I wish I didn’t tell about this restaurant to anyone, for fear it’ll be too hard getting a table in the future.

    Would have preferred to know price of wines before I went: couldn't find any mentioned on-line. Prices out of our normal range. However, food was delicious, my lamb melted into a wonderful sauce. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. I would go again.

    We had lunch in Doppo before a theatre trip. What a lovely little Italian gem nestled in the busy streets of Soho. Great recommendation from the owner in dishes and wine! The food was delicious and it was great to see the chefs at front of house serving their masterpieces. Would definitely recommend and will be back again soon!
