   We had a very enjoyable and delicious dinner on Friday evening. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite...and very efficient. The food was delicious and good value. The charcuterie platter was laden with delicious meats, olives, cheese and tomatoes, and the Very Spicy pizza is delicious! Thank you.

   We arrived to be told there was no reservation even though I had emails confirming same. Eventually shown to a table to sit waiting while one scruffy waiter disappeared . After prolonged wait without being able to order we walked out. We will certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Particularly galling as this was a birthday lunch

   The food was super but sadly the service did not deliver this time This could have been due to a large party being catered for upstairs (which in fairness we were warned about by telephone a few days before) Don’t sit by the door - when people exit or enter it bangs v loudly and at this time of year is a chilly spot to sit at Overall not an unpleasant dining experience but it could have been so much better

    Excellent food and the pizza bases were especially good. Staff were friendly and efficient. However, the restaurant was cold and sat by single pane windows was not ideal for a group including pensioners. We did move but with little improvement.

    Had a fantastic evening, food was excellent, I had the fishy one pizza. My children had good sized portions. There was no scrimping on the pizza toppings. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the manager to the young waiters, the restaurant was warm and cosy. Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return.

    Lovely restaurant. Good food and the staff were lovely. But it was pretty empty and very quiet. No music or ambience, so couldn’t really have a conversation without everyone listening in. It was freezing cold too. My date had to put her coat on it was that cold and noticed another lady had as well.

    The pizzas were fine but the service was not good. We ordered a whiskey for one of our party and when it did not arrive with the other drinks we quered it to be told they didn't serve whiskey! The place needed a thorough clean particularly the toilets. Not impressed

    Friendly staff but totally amateurish service,we asked for a pizza to share with extra toppings,got two pizzas with different toppings on each,sent them back then had to wait an extra twenty minutes before our correct order arrived. Pizzas were very good,great food poor service,like last time.

    We really enjoyed our evening. Staff very attentive although we did have to wait a while for some drinks we ordered when we received the food. Food was very nice. We all really enjoyed it. Will definitely return! Thank you!

    Pizzas were good and servers very attentive. Bruschetta was disappointing as deconstructed and just of slices of pizza dough instead of the normal baguette/ciabatta - could have bought a whole 12inch garlic bread for the similar price which was also expensive, so poor value for money on starters. However would go again 👍

    Best Pizza in Saffron Walden. Reasonably fast & efficient service. Very modern (trendy even?) setting. Family ambience (lots of children) but we ate early in the evening due to one of us returning to the UK from Australia that day. Good selection of bottled beers. All in all a bit pricey. The best Pizza in Walden.
