Food was over salted, and underwhelming for the price
Our anniversary dinner there was incredible. Emidio took excellent care of us and the food was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Eden provided an excellent atmosphere for a Friday-night dinner date. The waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, well balanced, elegantly presented, and coursed perfectly. The portions were also perfectly generous. We left feeling extremely satisfied and excited for our next visit.
We loved loved loved our evening w Eden. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. The food was superb. Thank you for creating such a happy and inclusive space. We will be back.
The space is beautiful (feels like you're in a cozy but modern West Elm catalogue), service is attentive and friendly, and flavors are fantastic and fresh. Can't wait to come back for brunch!
We loved eden. The food was amazing and the staff took such great care of us. Both managers came and checked on us, and although we were pretty late to our reservation, they were so accommodating - particularly to one of our party’s nut allergy - and even brought us complimentary desserts at the end of our meal.
The food was really good, but it felt a little expensive for what I got. My friend and I paid $90 for a cocktail, shared burrata and 2 entrees. Maybe that's a normal price, but it wasn't anything amazing and the cocktails were a little weird.
Good Brunch! Food is very good!
Came here during restaurant week on a Sunday morning. The brunch is just so so. I mean the pastry is good, but grilled salmon is a bit overcooked. The waiter is very helpful and explained all the details of the courses. Will come back and try the dinner menu some other time.
One of my all-time favorites. I cannot get enough of this place.
Food and service was outstanding!
Noise level is almost unbearable for dining.
This was a delightful brunch spot, and I hope to get back for a birthday celebration with family. Food was excellent. Service was attentive, friendly and top notch. The waiter gave excellent recommendations and servers were always refilling cups and glasses yet unobtrusive. Will definitely be back. This was a brunch date with girlfriends and we were wearing "Babes Who Brunch" matching shirts, and the staff quickly partook of our fun, calling us Babes, and even asking if they could take our picture and share it on Instagram!
Both food and service were superb!
My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary, and the service was exceptional, especially with ability to accommodate diet restrictions and make recommendations on entrees.
The food and wine were fantastic and the ambience was very nice. The noise level built up over the evening, but in fairness, it was a busy Saturday night.
We were seated at the chefs table on a whim, and it was amazing! We saw all of the action and got to speak with the chef/owner personally. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Excellent all around!
My first time at this restaurant. The service and staff are excellent!
Service great as was food
First time there- amazing brunch. The skirt steak & egg was perfection! I couldn’t decide between that and the eggs Benedict so I got the hollandaise sauce on the side and it was just amazing! Their non-alcoholic cucumber infused drink was refreshing as well!
Eden is always at the top of my list when I'm making plans for brunch with my girlfriends! The atmosphere is adorable and the food is delicious, while very reasonably priced. Excited to try it in the summertime!
This is our favorite Chicago restaurant.
Amazing. Sat at chef’s counter and the chef was kind enough to chat with us throughout the evening explaining the dishes and answering our questions about the food and the restaurant. Our server was also incredible-a true veteran professional who clearly loves working there. Wish we knew about this restaurant a year ago!
Both my wife and I got sick after our meal due to a mix up in dietary restrictions. The service was very slow, although pleasant.
Every time I go to eden it’s delicious
My husband is vegetarian and I’m vegan so it can be hard to find a nice restaurant that has upscale offerings but Eden has it all! Such a treat to have great service and fabulous food!
Post theater dinner with friends- really good food, good selection of beverages and LOVED the free parking.
Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Great presentation and excellent service to the point that they even folded your napkin when you got up to go to the restroom. I strongly recommend the short rib, it was so tender!
My husband and I dined with another couple on a Wednesday night in January. There were only two other tables with guests. I assume the lack of customers was due to the cold, and because it was the middle of the week. I can say hands down, it was not because of the food. Every dish, from the Roasted Brussel Sprouts, and Samosa Appetizer--layered with flavor, and delicious. We tried the potato/lentil and lamb samosas and they were so flavorful, with the right amount of texture for the shell. Two at the table had the Pork Shank which literally fell of the bone, and they really enjoyed it. I am not a meat eater, so I had the cauliflower entree, with was roasted perfectly with arugula pesto, smoked paprika and tasty slices of the thinnest radishes which were pickled, and added great flavor this tasty dish. The portion sizes of appetizers and entrees were quite generous. Lastly we had an amazing trio of desserts, the most memorable was the Opera Cake. The coffee drinkers at our table were disappointed with the weak coffee that accompanied our dessert. A small miss for such an overall great experience.
Great food and very friendly staff. Recommend sitting at the Chef’s table!
Great! As always!
The brunch menu was very creative. The salmon bowl was the best they our group tried. The open faced donut was outstanding (and perhaps zillion calories).
My wife is Vegan and she had dinky two choices - both great. Perhaps they can expand their list if vegan offerings
Brian V our server was excellent. Super attentive and friendly. The other staff was also super friendly and helpful. We were first greeted by Jonathan, I believe the host, who was knowledgeable about Eden Chicago. Definitely would recommend for brunch; all the dishes we ordered was spot on.
Service was very slow and spotty. Slow to clear dishes and large gap 30 mins between appetizers and main course
Some food seemed over salted
Update: the manager has reached out to better understand our disappointment
We are going to return and try again
They seem serious about delivering a good experience
Thank you !
Eden never disappoints and, in fact, over delivers every time I dine there (which is about 6 times). On the fringes of the West Loop/Randolph Street it is totally accessible off the Green Line/Ashland as well as a huge parking lot. It is a welcome reprieve from the craziness only 3-4 blocks away and is a true diamond in the rough.
Management is always warm and inviting when you arrive and the wait staff (thanks Bill) are bright, knowledgeable and experienced in helping you navigate the menu. The navigation is required because literally everything on the menu is unique, creative and delicious. From the Samosas, burrata, and brussels sprouts for starters, to the signature Tagliatelle, to the Australian Lamb Loin and Meagre fish, the food is fresh and the presentation beautiful. The fact that they grow their own ingredients on site is another bonus. Again, I use Eden now for all of my business dinners (it helps that our studio is a block away), as everyone is tired of the traditional steak houses and literally EVERY client leaves going WOW! Needless to say, I will continue to frequent and recommend Eden to all.
Absolutely delicious brunch food! A little pricey but will definitely be returning.
A hidden little gem in Chicago's Brewery District. Right around the corner from Great Central, on Lake & Wood, Eden serves up modern American cuisine with a zing. The service was beyond impeccable. Very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. The dishes were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious. We'll come back. And try their brunch.
My girlfriend and I had an excellent experience. The food and the service were great.
We came to Eden for New Year's Eve and absolutely loved it. The food was incredible, our server, Shane, was wonderful, and the cocktails were great! We would all definitely go back.
Everything about Eden is simply outstanding. From the minute we walked in the door until we left..the greeting, the service and OMG..the food! Chef Devon is the most interesting and innovative chef in Chicago. We can’t wait to return.
