First time visit, food was very tasty and margaritas were really good!

Such a beautiful restaurant great food! The service was great and our waiter was so nice that he became our photographer at the end since there is so much scenery.

The music was so loud that we asked to sit on the patio!

They have to improve much service and kitchen. Not even close to what we remember from the Design District location.

Very noisy
Not able to carry a conversation across table -
Music should be herd but not take over the room
It’s not a dance club it’s a restaurant to sit and dine and have a conversation with good friends

The food was fine, although the chips were a little gummy. The service was rushed (had my appetizer plate taken away while my fork was still in my hand. The noise level was terrible. I'm all for a fun atmosphere, but when the music is so loud you can't carry on a conversation with the person directly next to you, it stops being enjoyable. There are so many great restaurants in this neighborhood. There's really no reason to come back to this one..

The music volume was going up/down all throughout dinner. At times, too loud to hear across the table. Everything else was great!

The food, once it finally arrived was really good as is normal at El Bolero. The atmosphere at both locations is wonderful and fun and the design at both is also great. But the service (at the Fitzhugh location) was absolutely horrible during our last visit for a Sunday brunch. There were 2 servers and one helper for the entire restaurant during Sunday brunch. The servers were slow, the host / manager spent the entire time talking with a table instead of helping his crew even though the restaurant was clearly under-staffed. On top of that it was clear that the severs did not want to be there working. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for our party to get our food and over 40 minutes just to place our order. Extremely disappointed with management at this location. Hopefully they will improve the service because the food is great.

Loud! Loudest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was good. As was the service. They had run out of something one of us wanted to order. Also, we had to wait 20 minutes to get a drink at our table. I think it was ready but it was just sitting at the bar. Our waiter was very friendly. But we walked out of there with headaches. Sooooooo loud!

I’ve been to the other location when it was full. Very nice. Not very loud.

I brought a family member that was visiting Dallas. I had never been here before. It was rated “D Best” on D Magazine. It was a Tuesday night ($2 taco night). I thought it might be busy because of that. The restaurant was mostly empty yet lots of staff around and no one acknowledged we were there. We did get chips and salsa 5 minutes after being seated. I started coughing because I’d swallowed the salsa wrong (very painful). We had no water and no one came to check on us. I finally threw my hands up in exasperation. A waitress came up and I begged for water. Her response “oh, I didn’t notice you didn’t have any”. The food was just okay (mine was a bit cold). The service was just really poor the whole night. Unfortunately, not a place I’d go to again.

Patio is a cozy atmosphere. Food is good but not great. $2 taco Tuesday is isolated to one specific type of taco. Frozen margarita was a bit tart, on the rocks was delicious.

This is the second time at the Fitzhugh location. Service and ambiance was excellent. The queso was great. And the main course was large and flavorful. Drinks are great as well. Will definitely be returning.

The absolute worst service I have EVER experienced!!!!!!! I have enjoyed the original El Bolero since it opened, and have always received excellent service!!!! I decided to try the new location which has been open for atleast 2 months, and although it was a holiday weekend, there were only 3 tables occupied inside, and 4 or so outside. There appeared to be a full staff, but no one seemed to know what to do. It was a truly surreal experience. I will not be back to this location!!!!

It was a very bad experience , the service was too slow the restaurant was almost empty . the food was cold . the bar tender ( a woman ) said I do not like that people ask me to be fast I take between 3 to 5 min for each drink she was in a very bad mood . in general the problem was the bad actitud of the personal , at the end we got a discount but we did not go for it , our plan was to celebrate a friend’s bday and have a good time .
