The only issue both me and another person in my party had is that we ordered Stellas on-draught and they were warm from the first sip. Even worse is that it was in one of those heavier-than-hell beer mugs that made the effort to lift it just not worth it. Now, in all fairness, Neither of us mentioned it to the waiter. I am sure that if we did it would have instantly been corrected. The steaks were terrific! We got two Porterhouses for the four people in our party and the steaks were delicious! The other two people in my party drank Cosmos and both people loved them.

We enjoyed a surprising dinner and winetasting as we had previously had reservations for another restaurant but we are nearby the Empire steakhouse. Our only recommendation is that in the ambience in which we had her meal and wonderful wine, the sound and the music for the restaurant wasn’t a good fit. I love 70s rock music but just wasn’t right for dinner.

A party of four, and we all ordered seafood dishes. All were good, though unexceptional. The Bronx Tail was a sight to see. Service was friendly, casual and efficient. Prices are a bit high, but not obnoxiously so. Very convenient for guests of the Hilton Garden Inn, or those visiting Stephen Colbert's theater. Overall, I'd go back if in the area.

We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated immediately. Every staff member said hello to us. Our server was attentive but did not hover over us. Our water was never empty, our wine and cocktails came very quick. Our food was perfectly cooked and even after being told that the seafood pasta takes a little longer we had our food quickly. We were back upstairs in our hotel room (we stayed on site) about an hour and 15 minutes from the time of our reservation. Highly recommended for an anniversary dinner or even just a nice date night. It is pricy but you get what you pay for. The portions were generous and we had plenty to bring back with us to the room but still left full. Thanks Empire steakhouse for a wonderful 5 year wedding anniversary dinner. We will be back next time we are in the city.

It was so good we that went there two nights in a row and may even swing by for drinks a third night. Our bartender, Lira, was awesome…very friendly and super attentive. The food was great and the drinks were even better. I would definitely recommend it.

I had the best experience compared to other steakhouses the food and mostly the service was excellent..Lira the bartender was amazing always hospitable ..so nice and kind ,funny and respectful…always paying attention to every detail to make us feel extremely comfortable and loving ! The atmosphere was amazing all the stuff was caring and hardworking. Loved it every minute I spent there and I will be back definitively!👌🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to a steakhouse for some great steak. In three attempts the chef still couldn’t make a steak cooked to medium. Manager didn’t even have much to say.

Steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare, but if lacked flavor. I do not add anything to my steak. Never have and never will. But that’s my only complaint. It was still good. Just not as good as my favorite steak houses in Texas. :)

Overall poor food quality but good service. Branzino wasn't fresh. Onion rings were burnt. Bronx tail had bland sauce and tough lobster. NY strip was the only acceptable dish. There are much better steakhouses in area like Capital Grille and Gallagher's.

I ordered a steak medium-rare and it came out blue. I asked them to cook it a bit more and they essentially just seared the outside and the steak was still very raw. Service was good but food was not for the value.

We had a wonderful dinner at Empire Steakhouse. The interior of the restaurant is elegant and was the perfect place for a date night. We ordered a dinner salad, the Porterhouse for two and Creamed Spinach for our side. The salad was fresh and lightly dressed. The steak for two was a very generous size, perfectly cooked with a crusty seared outside, velvety rare inside and buttery au jus. The subtle Creamed Spinach was the perfect accompaniment for the steak. The service and attention to detail was impeccable. Our server, Nantia, was gracious and attentive as was the management, which made our experience at Empire Steakhouse on West 54th Street an evening to savor in memory.

First visit here, used restaurant week as way to explore it as am often in this part of city. Think they did excellent job on restaurant week. The options for dinner menu included 3 courses and coffee or tea. More than many rest. wk menues offer. Service was friendly, attentive but not at all rushed. Appetizer options more varied than most restaurant week menues. We had 4 good oysters on half shell and very good, very geneous fried calamari. Both did sirloin steak entre- not outstanding steak, but quite good and sides tasty and generous. Neither of us thought the cheesecake or chocolate dessert were great, but for the price ok. Had the tea and surprised by wide choice of good quality tea bags. Based on the evening I plan to visit the restaurant again and glad to pay full price to explore the regular menu. Comfortable space, nicely appointed.
