Eve is a lovely restaurant with great staff ; who are genuinely interested on your thoughts on their new menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and my cousin was very impressed with the venue, as although a resident of Edinburgh had not heard of it! One of the managers took us on a tour of the hotel including the roof terrace which will hopefully open to non residents in the summer. What a spectacular view of the castle. The Virgin group have spent millions on the restoration of this building.

The staff worked hard but were totally understaffed. Long wait for food. 6 out of 8 of us really didn’t enjoy their food. It was style over substance and would not go back sadly.

We had struggles making our booking on time and finding its location. One message to eve and replies were instantaneous and very informative. All the staff were so lovely and service was quick and performed at a high standard. Would come again and will definitely be recommending to friends. 24/02/2023

Amazing food the flat iron steak was to die for and had it twice while there. Staff were great and attentive and always helpful.

Fabulous interior design , very quirky. Staff were very friendly and efficient.We didn’t eat but I’ll definitely be back to try the tempting menu ! Wine was excellent and very reasonably priced . I’ll definitely be back :)

From the minute we arrived at Eve we were given an amazing welcome. The guy at reception was so friendly and made us feel special. He asked if it was an occasion and when I told him it was my birthday, he brought us each a glass of fizz on the house. The service we then received at our table was also first class. Great wine and food. We opted for small plates and every one of them was delicious. It’s a beautiful bar and restaurant and we loved the music, decor and atmosphere. I will definitely go back to Eve and recommend it to others

Could not fault our dining experience at all!! Staff were really friendly, a little more absent in the quieter times but other than that 10/10 on everything. Will definitely be recommending and returning!

The seating area and bar is beautiful, the service was great and the food and drink’s excellent. The only thing that could have been improved would have been if it was a bit busier. We will be going back and would highly recommend.
