The service was not the greatest. Coffee was really good, sticky chicken chips were delicious and then it went downhill. Food took forever to come out, no salt or pepper offered to table, no ketchup or salad or Tabasco offered. Not sure I would try it again.
Good food, great whiskey menu. Terrible service
Excellent smoked proteins/ easy to share multiple dishes- great fun to taste different bourbons
Pancakes are awesome, they just need to warm the syrup :)
I love the vibe of this restaurant - we had a group of 5 and sat outside and really enjoyed it. The food was absolutely delicious! Both the burger and turkey sandwich were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend the tater tots as a side - they were phenomenal. The service was fairly quick and our waitress was attentive. I will be returning!
This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places! The scratch kitchen food never disappoints and the whiskey bar makes it a fun night every time.
Our server was very unenthusiastic. My girlfriend has food allergies and we were very specific about what she wanted. They still managed to get it wrong. Manager came over and was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is very loud! Great selection of brown liquors. A C visit at best.
The food here was delicious! They have a creative menu with a lot of great options. I made reservations for an indoor table and the seating was very, very close together and it was very loud so we opted to sit outside where we had more space. Their cocktails are excellent!
This place was awesome!! Super fun atmosphere and their assortment of bourbon and whiskey is incredible!! Get the chicken and cakes!! Amazing!
Our first visit to Feed Company. We sat outside on the heated patio. It was a little crowded with the number of tables in there, but there was an energetic atmosphere. Our server was prompt with drink orders and delivery, and was happy to answer questions on the menu. We enjoyed our appetizers and our meals. It was a fun dinner in a casual environment which is what we were looking for. We were not disappointed in any of our food selections and I would definitely come here again.
"That's so much pressure! Haha uhmm you can say this in your own words but I would say that it's drink menu was great, the food was tasty although I wish there were more vegan options but I always want that. And also the wait staff was attentive which is always a plus in my book" - Nabila
Great selection of whiskeys. Food is good but not outstanding. Hard to pair the food with bourbon if that's what you're there for. The breaded mushrooms were the best thing we ate.
We couldn’t talk over the guitar player. He was so loud.
Excellent experience. Over 200 whiskeys with the largest selection given to bourbon. The manager is knowledgeable and can guide you if you're in the mood for that. Food is excellent scratch kitchen style. The pork chops and brussel sprouts were perfect and the pancakes and chicken are a nice twist on the normal waffles. Great night out.
The staff was very accommodating and rather quick service for a 10 person table on New Years Eve. Great whiskey/bourbon menu, largest I've seen. Good drinks as well. Patio is covered and heated, great for winter. Extended patio for summer also great.
Where are you??!!! If you haven't gone to the FEED COMPANY then Where are you??!! This is a must visit place for casual fun dining! We went for brunch and had shrimp & Grits that had shrimp cooked to absolute perfection - not over and not under! the grits were creamy and cheesy...ummmmm! there were 4 or 5 large shrimp too!!! I couldn't finish the dish myself but my son said it was satisfying to him. the pancakes were fluffy, buttery and tasty. the chicken mixed with waffle batter were bite size heavenly savory tiny bit of sweetness delights. The mimosas were good but the bloody mary's win in that battle! maybe ask for more than 1 olive as their olives are really good.
Service was on point and we (a group of 8) never had to ask for anything. The MUSIC, well let's just say I want their playlist!
When i'm back in town i'm definitely going back to FEED COMPANY!! (i never go to the same place twice...that's how good it was)
Met a friend for lunch. First off...the music is great. Service was good. Food excellent. Shared the Poppers. De-lish.
Our food was very good. No rushing. I will definitely go back. My guess is weekday lunch is the best. No weekend or evening crowds. Parking was easy, and close.
For the price the food did not match. The tables are closely put together and there is little concern for the space of the customer as the waiter serving the table next to us consistently put their butt against out table, and even our person. No apologies were made when this occurred either as if it was expected or they do not care.
On the other hand, it is a cool whisky bar.
In summary I would stay away if you’re looking for a bite to eat. But if you’re looking to try a variety of whiskeys with a group of friends this is a good place to go.
We asked for inside and got seated outside. Food was great but they need to work on seating
Great service and excellent food. The Bourbon selection is fantastic!!!
Came for a night with the girls to catch up and stayed for a few hours just enjoying the atmosphere and great drinks. There are about 300 different whiskeys/bourbons available and the staff was very knowledgeable. Tried a tasting flight and a few cocktails and everything was great. The food was all delicious as well. But the best thing about the evening was our server Mason. He was energetic and friendly and always knew when to stop by the table or to just take a peak at us and leave us alone because we were in conversation. He had great intuition! And all of the staff there was very nice from the hostesses to other servers and the manager. It was a great experience and we will definitely return.
Food and drinks were great. Service was a bit rushed for us, especially when we had made a res. We probably would have ordered another drink or maybe dessert, but the waiter immediately dropped the bill on us right after the main course and said "thanks for coming". Felt odd and rushed to me
Very good, exceeded my expectations. I will def be back.
We love this place! Great patio, the food is excellent and if you like whiskey then this is your place! I am not a whiskey drinker but they have great cocktails outside of whiskey. Great local joint and awesome service - highly recommend!
Service was terrible but the food and ambiance was great
Our experience at Feed and Company was awful. We went to celebrate a birthday and were sorely disappointed we chose to dine at this restaurant. The service was terrible and they were out of everything. I probably changed my order three times because they continued to come back and tell me what I had picked wasn’t available. They were even completely out of dessert (at 8PM on a Saturday). No birthday treat! I would have been willing to give this restaurant a second chance if they would have had the decency to comp us for something, but that didn’t happen. Overall, the service was incredibly slow and the management needs drastic improvement - would not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere!
Delicious food, great drinks with an astounding bourbon variety, service is excellent. Try the sticky chicken appetizer, it is addictive.
Great food! Great service! Love this place!
This could be a regular kind of place.. comfortable polished and easy to like.
Brother in law ordered street tacos and they were cold and quite sparse. I ordered the pork chop and it was WAY over cooked and the sprouts were under. My husbands pastrami sandwich had very little meat on it and the little that was there was fatty. It just seems they were getting close to closing time so pretty much gave us the scraps.
food was really salty and service rather poor—waiter just recommended the most expensive dishes on the menu
Food was not good and very expensive!!!!!
Service was great but there wasn't anyone else there!
Not going to make it!!
Waited 20 minutes after being seated and was not seen my a waiter. One person came to take a drink order, and then management came and told them not to see us. Not sure why. Food and whiskey menu looked good though.
This was our 2nd time to F&Co... first time we couldn’t wait to go back, this time however was no where near our expectations. They were understaffed, on a Friday night... food came out lukewarm, not well timed (wife received her food 6min before everyone else - I checked my watch...) and overall service was very lackluster. I had the same thing as first time, except this time the pork chop was over cooked and dry... carrots were under cooked, it just was a poor overall night for a place that is commanding expensive prices.
They have a great selection of whiskey, but it is incredibly overpriced. I got two cocktails and the bill was $60! I have never paid $30 per cocktail. I know what this particular brand (Angel’s Envy) costs. The markup was incredibly high. Because of this, I will not go back.
Exceptional food. Unbelievable bourbon selection. Enthusiastic service! Be advised that the main area is not a quiet, cozy indoor scene. You sit at high tables on stools without backs (not a problem for us). There is no acoustic treatment on the ceiling so it's pretty noisy, and parties of four might be seated together at long tables for 10 (again, not a problem for us). Absolutely worth the food and bourbon experience. 5 stars. Good value... The one chuckle was our red wine - glasses and bottles - were served at a white-wine chill. The wine selection is really slim as well, but has some good choices. If I lived closer I'd quit my real job and offer to work for peanuts (or bourbon) as their Sommelier :) A vivid wine menu might double their regular base... Couples often have one person who loves craft liquor or beer paired with another who fancies a smart and diverse selection of grape.
Charming venue in Lower Greenville
Went for a famil birthday. Expensive, but food and cocktails were great. Server was knowledgeable but a little scatter brained.
The food was actually decent. Nothing i would say you “have to” try ... and nothing warranting going back.
Service was nonexistent. They claimed “brunch rush” ... half the tables were empty. Server was not helpful in explaining menu, or clarifying points (egg whites vs. whole egg, what do these abbreviates on menu mean, etc.)
The bar was backed up ... again half of tables were empty. Took 20 min for cocktails to come out, watered down and weak.
The only reason I even wanted to leave a review was checkout. We had a party of six, clarified at beginning orders were separate, and then ordered a few drinks, appetizers, and plates. At check out, five (not six) checks were thrown on the table - not handed out, which would have fixed all issues.
None of the checks were accurate, people that drank water were paying for cocktails, etc. By this time, our server made it clear she wasn’t in a service mindset, so we paid all tickets and used cash/Venmo to settle differences.
Upon leaving, she chased us down and accused us of not paying for yogurt and an appetizer. It was caught because none of us had the write check. I explained what happened, asked her to ring it up and i would just pay it. Brought it out WITH gratuity, it was $24 for an appetizer and yogurt because of gratuity. I asked if he addressed and corrected, Manager did it. He was fine.
Overall not worth the wait (for food, drinks, and service). HG supply is around the corner and same concept with better execution.
