FlintCreek Cattle Co.
Flint Creek's menu is an ever rotating selection of modern American cuisine. The items on it frequently change based on the seasonality of the ingredients, ensuring new items are introduced as others leave. Favorites on the menu include Fennel Braised Wild Boar Shoulder, Durham Ranch Bison Hangar Steak, and the Oven Roasted Duck Confit.
Dinner was Amazing. The squash with pistachio, wonderful, halibut steak, perfect, scalloped potatoes excellent, and the lemon/oil/brulee incredible.
Service was impeccable. This is a new favorite place.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a date or even just a casual dinner with friends. Music level was reasonable and the noise level was quite low. Would 10/10 go back and plan to!
Food was very on point. We had duck and wild boar for the main course. We dine out often as well as cook often at home. It was great to see dishes that are not the norm for every restaurant in King County. The duck confit salad blew us away. If it’s on the menu, get it. No need to thank me. Service was amazing. Timely, not rushed, but attentive. Wine list was solid. We enjoyed a bottle of a local Syrah from a smaller producer that wasn’t marked up an outrageous amount. It was a dinner near the top of my list for 2019 thus far.
Food quite good, but far too noisy for conversation.
We love Flint Creek Cattle Co. It is our go to spot for excellent steak and chops. Be prepared to wait. On a Saturday night the kitchen is very slow. We placed our drink order followed by our appetizer and dinner order at the same time. The lag time between our appetizers and entrees was much too long. The bottle of wine corked to have with our entrees was enjoyably sipped, yet gone by the time food arrived.
One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. Food quality, service and atmosphere never disappoints.
I planned a surprise date for my girlfriend. She just started a new job. I requested a special desert to surprise her at the end of the meal. She loves desert and this job is a big deal. I called to confirm that my request could be met and I was assured it could be. At the end of the meal I was surprised that no nothing came out we waited for a while, I even had to spoil the surprise because my girlfriend was wondering why we did not get up and leave. When I asked the waiter he said he was not aware of any special request. When the hostess was asked about it she did not seem to care and brushed off the question. I expected better service from this restaurant. Why tell me that my request could be met and than renege the night off.
Great atmosphere and food but it was extremely loud in there and we could barely have a conversation. Also, my boyfriend ordered a $40 steak but the waitress misheard him and it turned out to be an $85 steak and we didn't realize. She apologized but did not make any effort to fix the mistake. Overall we still had a great date and the food and wine was excellent.
Food was great! Service and ambience were good but not great. Overall a good dining experience.
Good food, fun atmosphere, good service. I'll go again!
This please is always top notch. The service we receive makes us feel special, the food is divine, and the drinks are lovely! We will be back again and again.
We had a really nice experience at FlintCreek! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our wait person never made our questions seem stupid and was great at helping suggest a wine. Our table had a great view of the whole restaurant so great people watching and fun view watching the kitchen staff! The food was really good but a bit over salted for all of us. I know the focus is on meat but for the price it would be nice to have a bit more veggies on the plate. We will definitely go back but I hope it’s not quite so salty.
Food was delicious and the service was some of the best I've ever experienced. The layout was smart, on a crowded night I never once felt cramped. The atmosphere was perfect for an anniversary dinner or even just a nice night out with friends. Highly recommend!
The weigh staff was very knowledgeable about what dishes contained my food sensitivities and was able to make recommendations that turned out to be delicious!
Love Flint Creek my 4th time going. This time the food was just not as good. Although the baked oysters were amazing.
Happy to share more if you want more information
Previously, I have always loved dining here. This past experience, my guest had to send her rib-eye back twice and there was a short, dark brown hair encrusted in my branzino. While I didn't want to bring up the fish at the time, it was like a "oh well for the steak". "Oh well" we'll bring you another one, "Oh well" we'll throw it back on the grill. A manager didn't bother coming over, which I would've appreciated far more than receiving a docked check- which didn't happen either.
I'll stick to the bar for happy hour. Not impressed with experience at all, but the bread and butter was good...
The drinks were well made and the service was spot on. The flavor in all the dishes had such depth and was not over seasoned in the slightest. The bone in rib eye was mouthwateringly delicious and cooked just the way we wanted. We will be back soon!
The staff was attentive and courteous. The food was all amazing. I will definitely be back
Overall our experience was good. The only problem was when I ordered a ribeye it actually came as a New York steak. I'm not sure if it was an accident or because they ran out of ribeye but nobody said anything. I ate the New York and it was quite good but we definitely enjoyed a good laugh about it at our table.
food was served hot and cooked perfectly. menu was original but not bizarre, server explained menu items so we knew what we were getting. portions were adequate but not generous considering the price and location. service was very attentive, caution-this might not be the place if you want a private conversation, someone was filling full water glasses every few minutes. decor was nice although the chairs were uncomfortable. neighborhood was riddled with men aggressively pan handling, I work in downtown Seattle and this was more aggressive and candidly frightening. can't be good for business as this feels like an upscale neighborhood restaurant.
We love this restaurant! The menu is always delicious, varied and interesting, and expertly prepared. We have been several times and have been delighted. From our recent dinner I heartily recommend the starter acorn squash, entrée of pepper crusted venison, the dessert with lemon. They have a very fun cocktail menu. Bon appétit!
The baked oysters and grits with mushrooms were delicious, as was the venison. Always a great dining experience
This was a great dinner. We were celebrating a special occasion, and so went kind of all out. Eery course was on-point--from the butternut squash/burrata first course to the flourless chocolate cake. I had the bison as a main course, and it was perfectly cooked with lots of layers of excellent flavors. Sweeties filet was stellar. Highly recommended.
Brought guests from out of town here for dinner. Cocktails were very good, I especially liked the blazing saddles.
We opted to share about half the starters and small plates rather than the chops. Nearly all were great. We especially liked the baked oysters, duck confit salad, and heirloom grits.
Service was attentive and had great recommendations. Will be back.
Service was excellent, environment was outstanding, and bison hanger steak was out of this world. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Service was excellent, staff was friendly, food was excellent! We will be going back!! We called because we were delayed in traffic and they said no problem; when we arrived they seated us immediately and our server was so nice. We enjoyed everything about it.
We had a wonderful dinner. Small plates were fantastic and entree’s were excellent. Loved the creativity and presentation of the food. Our waitress was terrific, anticipating our every need. Enjoyed the layout of the restaurant and thankful tables were spaced appropriately
We ate “family style” and every single dish was fabulous.
The staff was delightful. The bison, tuna and vegetarian pasta were loved by the guests. The lemon finish was award winning.
Awesome food, Awesome service, city quality restaurant
I love this place!
Great experience, food and atmosphere were really good. Our waiter was really good. Will return
The food is consistently good here. I bring my adult sons for steaks and my husband and I eat veggies. This last visit they mixed up the steak orders and some of the meat wasn’t eaten unfortunately. Shouldn’t happen in a restaurant with these prices. Also very noisy, they need to invest in some soundproofing.
Excellent food and outstanding service.
Such memorable food! ordered the Wild Boar Ragu with potato gnocchi and it was fantastic. My son ordered the Wild Mushroom Bolognaise and it was rich and complex. Well worth a splurge dinner!
Great food with wonderful seasoning. The oysters were garnished with herbs and the meltingly delicious lamb had a complex seasoning with undertones of fennel. The Lemon pottet
came with a perfect, tender Swiss meringue that beautifully complemented the tart of the citrusy lemon curd. However, we went on a Saturday night and the two of us could barely hear each other across our tiny table. Unpleasant to have to almost shout over our lovely food.
Amazing experience. Our waiter was amazing. We totally felt well taken care of but not over attended to.
The food and service was excellent. The cocktails, particularly the one with the duck confit(!), were executed amazingly well. A nice bit of the higher-end dining experience as the Greenwood neighborhood goes. Cheers FlintCreek!
