   This is a wonderful, and as yet undiscovered, gem of a restaurant. Delicious, innovative food, cheerful and knowledgeable staff and lovely surroundings. Great for a meal before a show at Arena or anytime.

   Expensive for what it is. Decor and views were the best parts. Food was ok -- nothing great. Liked the guacamole and the addition of veggies. Fish large plate and heart of palm tacos were unmemorable. Service was pushy towards ordering more than we needed and our server didn't time our food well. Didn't feel very welcome by the maitre d'.

   What a find! Intimate dining room with a beautiful view to start and amazing Latin cuisine of mostly small plates. We loved the pumpkin empanadas, Chesapeake rockfish, spectacular beets, and spunky potatoes, Service was terrific. Definitely a do-over.

   I was very excited to take my friends here but unfortunately the service was below where it should be at every instance. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. We were seated in a table right by the entry and service area so our chairs were bumped constantly. Our food arrived before our cocktails… hoping service improves…

   The experience was very underwhelming for the price of dining there. We were sitting at our table for 15 minutes or longer without anyone coming over to us. The salad I ordered was drenched in dressing and salt. Both of us ordered the same dish for our entree but the server only put in one order so we had to wait for the second dinner order. Overall, from the service to the food it was all very disappointing.

    Flora Flora is beautiful and has wonderful views of the water. Our dinner last night was delicious. So far, so good. But Flora Flora loses points on menu, service and prices. Menu: quite limited. Check before you go to ensure there is something you want to eat. Service + prices: our waiter described the menu as a tapas offering with three choices - small, a bit bigger, and a bit bigger still. He suggested we get 4-6 items to share. We ordered just 3 — guacamole and two of the 3rd size. The bill came to $177 (including 22% tip.) A bottle of Pellegrino is $10, the guac $17 and those “entrees” range from $30 to $60. If we’d ordered 6 items, the bill would have been nutty expensive! Our waiter tried too hard; he and the bus person kept interrupting us to ask if they could clear the table. We were clearly still eating so it was odd. We will not be going back to Flora Flora. There isn’t enough choice and you get tapa-sized servings for fine-dining entree prices.

    Ambiance was great, as well as service. However, the food was bland, I had the half chicken and it wasn’t that good, I’ve definitely had better. I may go back just for drinks maybe, but not for the food.

    Service is particularly good for a new restaurant. Staff works hard and it shows, so thank you. However, the food was dismal. Selection overall is limited. Our grilled orchard point oysters were undercooked, warm at best, some just cold. The guacamole was the highlight. The veggies made it unique in an exceptionally good way. The rockfish wasn't fresh, and it had a super fishy taste. I did end up sending this back. The half chicken was better because it was tender and well cooked. However, it seems that the chicken wasn't marinated, and the thick sauce just poured over it (I could be wrong). Our mokun carrots were ok. The Dulce de Leche, Dulcey Chocolate Mousse, Almond Crunch dessert was delicious. I get it, this place is new. But it's a Pendry so I hold it to a higher standard. I would go as far to say this restaurant was an afterthought, because it should be so much better being located in a Pendry.

    service was terrible. Sat for 10 mins before we had to ask to place drink order. ordered drinks, then another 5 mins before we ordered food. we said we'd start with a few small plates and the server said the kitchen wants everything ordered at once. seemed odd when the place was half full. Our first plates all game out before our drinks even showed up. Again had to chase down the server to order drinks, took well over 20 mins to get the 2nd round which we got after all the food was serve and we were almost done with our meal. Food was decent, but can't overcome the poor service

    Had a great time enjoying an exquisite lunch at Flora Flora, the Pendry’s restaurant. Fabulous view of the water with delicious drinks that will be a hit in the DC summer. Very much looking forward to going back to try more of their menu.

    The service was impeccable! Not to the point where you feel overwhelmed by wait staff checking in on you every five seconds but very friendly. Gave amazing recommendations! We’re just overall nice. Food was tasty. Not too pricey. Cocktails were fun. Just a solid choice for the Wharf and a great pre-theater dinner. Will have to coke back again for dessert. Hard to find but inside the Pendry Hotel.

    Had dinner here and it was great. I was there during the day and the view was breathtaking but when I came later in the evening, it didn’t have much of a view. It’s a classy restaurant and our server Fahd (hopefully I spelled that right) made it even more memorable. The food was also great.

    I’ve been for both brunch and dinner and love both experiences. Creative, delicious food showcasing locally sourced ingredients in a fresh way. Favorites include hearts of palm tacos, duck confit rice, hamachi ceviche and don’t miss the oysters. Lovely view either daytime or at night looking over the creative lighting and water view at the Wharf. If you’re lucky enough to get Emily serving you, be ready for a fun, great meal! Will be back again and again.

    EXCELLENT Service. Very nice ambience. Quiet and nice for breakfast. Food is pricey, but you get a lot for the $$. We enjoyed the pastry basket, fruit plate and Eggs Benedict with Crab. Delicious coffee too. Highly recommend.

    We shared the guacamole, ceviche, the fish and octopus skewers and the lomo saltado (must try). Everything was very tasty. I'd explore the skewer sets more the next time. Service was great for lunch. It's a new gem not many people knows about yet. Sorry no photo - as with any great food, we quickly jumped to it.

    We had our first dining out for lunch of the new year at Flora Flora. We loved the friendly staff who was all welcoming and the ambience of the restaurant. Latin American style menu offers a good variety of options; great starters, anticuchos, and large plates for entree. We ordered the octopus anticucho and its portion was a bit smaller for the price, yet tasty. Also the guacamole starter was really nice with petite radish and endive, and we truly loved Flora bowl and Lomo Saltado! Service was top notch too, and we would definitely come back here again.     Chef Barry Koslow has really created something special. Creative and delicious dishes that are a blend of Peruvian and Mexican inspiration. Fantastic views and fun staff, they have gathered a great team. If you’re lucky enough to get Emily as your waitress, you and your party will have a blast. Well paired wine list as well. Will be going back over and over! Watch out Del Mar, you’ve got some stiff competition.

    I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup, and my server handed me a small tasting spoon from the bar. We asked him for suggestions on drinks and he informed us he does not drink alcohol and could not give us any suggestions on what to order. After bringing us our food order, our server did not return to our table for food quality follow-up. We also saw our server walking around the restaurant holding and talking on a mobile phone.

    Just opened so the staff are still becoming orientated, service was a bit slow, but the host and staff were very welcoming. Food is exceptional. We were there for an early lunch and I had the grilled corn salad which was delicious, would love to go back and try some of the other menu items. Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices. Menu is well marked for those with dietary restrictions. Great location with spectacular views of the waterfront!
