The reason for the not so great review was where we were seated...in the back of the restaurant where the staff 'hang' out and eat their meals. I booked this reservation a while ago as did I last year for Easter dinner and we were sat in the same room, not the main dining room. This time around, not many of the 'meats' made there way back to us unless we asked. And I noticed that most of the staff was congregating in this room and most of them took their shift meal in this room. If i am spending up to $600 (6 people) for a dinner and booked it well in advance, I'd expect to be seated in the main dining room. We were all dressed very nicely (saw people with shorts on for Easter Dinner) and were all adults, no kids. Food was really good as usual and the service was excellent. I'd go back but I will NOT sit in the back ever again, there is no reason to put us in the back when there were open tables up front that could of sat us. So, yea, a little miffed.
The restaurant is way too noisy.
Staff very accommodating when traffic made us quite late. Waitstaff in gaucho pants and boots are so cute
The meat is really delicious and the variety is great fun but I love the salad bar- best in town!!
Food is always amazing. I love their pork ribs they have now and when they have the extra well done candy bacon. It’s amazing. Their key lime pie is my favorite too!
Great experience! The meat is the best around!
Great food, great experience. Bring your appetite...and your wallet.
Very friendly and attentive waitress. Always checking in without being overbearing. Great food as always. Will be back.
Been before so dont know what happened this trip. The meats being served had no seasoning to them except the pork. The marketplace bar was great as always but as i said the meats where underwhelming. The servers need to heed the requested temperature of the diner. I only like a little pick so always ask for medium well, each time was given medium. I wont say i wont go again but will may visit their competitor more often than here
Great gluten free experience. I was able to eat almost everything and the staff was extremely helpful.
Typical service from south Brazil.
The food is great. If you like meats it’s made for you, if not they also have a big buffet with a lot of food, salads, fruits and Feijoada (best beans you will eat ever) and you can self-service any times you want.
Go to there hungry... the food never end! Hahaha
It’s not cheap but worth.
I always have lunch at Fogo de Chão where I find.
First time in Brazilian setting loved the choice of meats showcased and the frequency that they were presented. Love the hot little bread rolls, and the grilled bananas.
We have been eating in this restaurant for many years but this time meat was very average , extremely oily and not tasty at all. Not sure what happened to them.
Impeccable service as always.
This place has really gone downhill. The only reason we went was for good meat. No one ever came by with good meat. They have chicken and pork in abundance. I had to beg someone to come by with lamb chops. They came by with one lamb chop after like 30 minutes. What a rip off. No one ever came by with filet. Our bill came to about 400 dollars for 4 people and one very cheap bottle of wine between all of us and I bet we ate 40 dollars worth of food if that much. We won’t go again. We would have been way better off by going to a regular steakhouse.
Great experience. But come hungry! Otherwise you won't get your money's worth. Four of us spent $350 (before tip) with three of us drinking (but no whole bottles of wine). The food was fantastic - and the experience is unique. But if you're a "moderate to light eater" - be prepared to shell out lots of cash for the meal.
Amazing food and staff!!!
Great!! Definitely recommend food was delicious great staff
Meat carvers follow a path and neglect certain tables. The cheese popovers were cold and after mentioning, only received warm ones. Some bacon wrapped meats were really rare, some were unsalted. Just a very poor dining experience. Since 2015, I've dined here 7 times and it has progressively declined since then. This experience was the nail in the coffin, for $130 I should have just dined at Del Friscos. I find other Fogo locations are much better, with Atlanta (Buckhead) being the best I’ve experienced.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. Great food and great service. My only feedback is it was expensive.
As always very high quality cuts of various kinds of meat prepared to perfection sliced at your table at whatever doneness you prefer. The servers are friendly, very attentive, and helpful. The style of service is unique and fun. The salad bar is to die for. Could easily be a meal in itself and in fact you can choose that option. I have never done that as I don't have the restraint to forego the meats. The only problem with the salad bar is not eating too much of the sumptuously prepared food so you still have room for the meat entrees. The quality and preparation of all the food is excellent and consistent from visit to visit. A great and fun place to celebrate a special occasion or take your spouse or date for a wonderful meal and a very enjoyable time.
Service was fantastic, but the food wasn’t as good as it normally is. Maybe because it wasn’t very busy.
We loved our service but I didn't like that they were taking plates and silverware off the table without asking before we were done eating. I felt like they were rushing us to leave.
Fun environment and delicious food! The meat was absolutely the best part.
This was our first experience dining at this location. The on site valet was well worth the relatively minor expense. The food was excellent, service was quick and responsive. The only criticism is the number of tables and chairs used to pack in customers. It’s quite a tight fit and kudos to the staff for navigating it so well!
Great place for an amazing dining experience. The cuts of meats are the center of attraction so pacing yourself is the key for a enjoyable meal
We took our family to Fogo de Chao Brazilian to celebrate family birthdays. We had a wonderful experience. The valet parking is the best for downtown convenience. We did not think that $21 (+ tip) was bad at all for the convenience of getting out right at their doorstep and walking in. We had a party of 8 and two little ones with us (3 years and 18 months old) and the restaurant accommodated us perfectly. From market table to dessert - it was a memorable night for us. Our family loved it. We will return!
Its always a coin toss when we go here -sometimes great food and great service, sometimes not.
Last night was not great.
Poor service matched with lack of different food being brought around and lots of undercooked meats made for a not great experience.
We won’t go back.
Fantastic from the beginning to the end.
Great service and food was great! One suggestion, more seasoning on the meat please :)
Food was excellent as was the service. We sure will be going back soon.
Great food, attentive service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend
My suv was damaged by their valet staff and nothing was done to repair my truck
Early Sunday evening reservation to celebrate a birthday - table was ready on time. Not too crowded, but got busy as we ate. Food and service were very good as has been our experience here. In fact, one of the staff, Christopher, was a blast. We'll be back...
It was my 32nd Birthday
Perfect setting for a first date.
Very good food. Very noisy but food makes up for it. Waiter was excellent.
Outstanding place!!! I would recommend you take your family and friends there for a nice dinner.
Excellent! The meat is the best. Great seasoning. Perfect temperatures.
Good place to eat with friends. The food was very good but a bit too salty. Very good service but choosing and getting our bottle of wine was complicated.
We went for lunch (same food but cheaper and used Birthday certs (sign up for their free Club" for offers. It was very good. Service from our waitress was great. We tried the lamb chops and they LOADED with salt on outside (and I love salt - but this was too much.). I mentioned this to the waitress and she asked if I wanted them cook chops without the salt. I did and they were really delicious. My ONLY issue was when it was time to pay the check. Waitress brought an ipad with her to run the credit card. She entered everything got to the "gratuity". She said "Is 20% okay?". I felt this was out of place. I might have left 20% because of the lamb chop issue but felt like I was being coerced and found it hard to say" No, I'd like to change it to 15 or 18%" Because you have to serve yourself at the salad bar it is typical to not pay 20% gratuity. But every time we go we get a different server so this is not a normal occurrence.
