   Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. Service is awful. We Ordered cocktail shrimp for an appetizer. half way through dinner it still hadn’t arrived and so we asked about it. It took 20 minutes for us to get it which was crazy since they were offering this to people in the bar all night. The meat was offered quite frequently for about 15 minutes but We were only offered 7 of the 11 different meat options. 2 of them were so Salty we couldn’t eat it and the sausage cold, We sat waiting with our cards green but nothing being offered anywhere around us. We were offered mash potatoes and a plate of bananas with 4 fried plantains by three different servers and Finally about 20 minutes later they brought mash potatoes, but that was it. Since it was my husbands birthday and we still had 2.5 Hours until we had to be somewhere else I thought we would have plenty of time for desert and we could possibly actually enjoy this experience so we ordered the cheesecake. Never would I have imagined it would take 45 minutes to get it. When it finally arrived I asked for a to go box and the check because lord only knows how long this would take if I didn’t. Can you believe After 20 minutes I had to ask again??? We waited 10 more minutes and finally got the check but no Togo box. It took almost 20 minutes for them to take the payment and bring our card back!! Seriously??!?! I mean, all I could do was laugh at this point because I honestly felt like someone was messing with us!! Like, how can service be so consistently bad?!?! The head waitress was rude and kept barking orders the others while throwing hand signals while talking to us. Won’t return here ever again - I recommend stopping here for a drink as the bartender was amazing but save yourself some time and go somewhere else for dinner -

   Fogo de Chao was leaps and bounds better than any other churrascaria we’ve been too. The food quality was top notch, and every item off the skewer was the perfect temperature. The staff was super helpful, thank you Emilia; and the bartender, Winchester, customized my cocktails to accommodate a restriction. I will eat at this restaurant every time I come back to San Antonio.

   I enjoyed the food, the noise was a bit much. It's for a party or causal date. The wait staff I didn't appreciate. Didn’t like I didn't get a menu even though they had them and I asked. They want to tell you what choices you have, but never show what that meant. Truth of the matter it’s pretty pricy and not allowing me to see a menu pretty much solved it for me not going back to that one. But the bartender Winston is a top notch Jamaican who made the wait staff disappear and make you think all is right with the bill😱😊 Thank you

    My daughter and I took my husband for Father’s Day. We have been to a few Brazilian restaurants especially on special occasions and it felt like this one was just meh. From the instant you walked in the door until you walked out like you were just a number versus making it feel like a place you wanted customers. It was not spaced out at all and all the customers were on top of each other at the salad bar. The wait staff was alright considering it was super busy, but we had to constantly remind when we wanted something. The food was ok and took a while for the servers to come around with the meat. A lot of wait and downtime. Not to mention the sides that came with the meal (mashed potatoes bread ect) was not served until we were almost done with our meal. We also feel like the meat selection served was missing items or maybe they just didn’t come to our table. All in all our experience was nothing to write home about. ThInk I will pass on this restaurant in the future and enjoy the others in San Antonio that at least make you feel welcomed.

    Honestly was a very good experience. The service was top notch. I can’t think of another restaurant where I had service this good. My main complaint was the food temperature. At first the temperature was good. After a little bit the meat being brought out was kinda cold. It was out anniversary and they offered a free dessert and decorated the plate for us.

    This restaurant is truly a delicious experience. The salad bar is spectacular and the meats are cooked to perfection. I love how they bring all the different types of meat to your table and cut off a piece to your liking. The staff was incredible and always helpful. For a different and delicious type of dining experience this is the place to go!

    Was great for lunch…outside windows needed cleaning that’s why a 4 star was given…that detracted from the ambiance. Service was a little slow clearing the table. The market table and the fejoda bar were great.

    The service was phenomenal! The food was delicious. The only thing that I think could have been better was having more options for warm sides. Everything was cold type foods except for mashed potatoes they delivered to our table. I 100% recommend going! We also took our 3 young children and they ate so much steak and fruit. They wanted to go back the next day!

    They made us wait even with the reservation and they did not have big selection of meat and never brought me what I specifically asked them to prepare (chicken breast without bacon) to our table

    First, I live going to roof se chow and been there several time but this visit was not a great experience as usual. Waiter didn’t want to work or serve us. I ask for some lamb shop and we’re sent back several times. The manager was great to assist us but didn’t say anything about the waiter.     Not sure what’s going at Fogo de Chao. What used to be a great experience, now it’s gone. I understand the staffing issues, however, quality, customer focus and attention to details should never end. This is my third visit in a row to Fogo de Chao in Texas, and probably the last one. The stores in Austin and San Antonio have poor leadership and it’s what hostess and waiters are showing in the floor. Definitively, upper management needs to intervene in order to restore what one was a symbol of high quality and almost perfect staff delivering excellent customer experience.
