   everything great and comfy seat with extra cushion as back support. Food was great overall but having found lobster shell remains in the lobster meat paste was unexpected. Nice that compensations were made in the end on the bill.

    The atmosphere and interior are really great. But even though I told the server in advance that I couldn't eat coriander, it came out of the fish course. It wasn't a smooth service. There was nothing special about the taste of the food. I felt that this restaurant was overrated to receive the title of the Michelin Three Star.

    We never really felt welcomed by the staff, except the lovely lady who escorted us to our table. Service was sub-par and lukewarm. No standards at all when it comes to how much water should be poured into a glass, and no consistency either. My friend's hand towel had blue stains and the second one has black dots. Staff seemed to have no idea about table service, with one server almost hitting another one of my friends as the server leaned across him to remove his bread plate and butter. They do not seem to care whether they serve dishes from the left or the right of the client. It is all very casual and nonchalant. The meal was mediocre until the main dish, we all agreed that the beef was very good. 3 Michelin Stars usually means that one can plan a trip around the venue. However, my friends and I cannot agree that Caprice possesses this level of magic.

    I went to Caprice for birthday celebration and it was a great experience. The sea view was amazing, and I love the decorations and ambiance. The food was cooked to perfection and the plating was so pretty. The staff were all nice and friendly, and the service was perfect. I would definitely come back.

Upon arrival, we were told those tables near windows with good view were reserved. However, there was empty table at windows which was not taken even when we were leaving….     Food is amazing no doubt, detail and meticulous execution from start to finish. Service is nice and friendly, quickly made us dine at ease, all the staff are cheerful and teamwork is excellent and efficient. Staff is knowledgeable with the menu and wine pairing. The wine pairing is excellent in complimenting each dish. I only wish there are more space between tables and could be quieter for a better ambience. One thing to improve is that the hand lotion and hand wash in the ladies room has a very strong scent, the scent stays with us and directly affects the tasting experience for the rest of the meal. suggest to choose hand wash that has mild or less scent, so we can focus on the flavor of the cuisine! thank you for a memorable dining experience.

    Caprice is a fabulous restaurant but I was disappointed with the menu choices. There was no a la carte menu but, instead, a choice between two 7-course set menus. It was simply too much food and we left the restaurant feeling uncomfortable. I understand the need to simplify but why not offer diners one choice of a simpler, lighter menu?

    The service was quite disappointing. We ordered a beef cheek as main course for our lunch but the dish served was chicken. The staff insisted that he reconfirmed the order with me while he actually did not. Still, the food was great.

    Excellent dining experience! Ambiance, service, food and wine were all top notch! Western cuisine wise, definitely the best restaurant in HK! Worth to wait for couple months to get a table!
