As usual, I spent a very pleasant lunch at The Lobby Lounge, at my favourite window table. I was warmly welcomed by name; the service was quick and efficient. My guests, first time there, were very impressed. The only negative note, this time, was that the chicken in my "Hainanese Chicken Rice" was rather dry..........

Hainanese Chicken Rice was disappointing because the chicken was not freshly cooked. It was frozen chicken which was tasteless. With such high price, fresh chicken was expected but this was disappointing. Sofa is very old and needs to be replaced. Please avoid heavy chairs which ladies find it hard to move. Table is too low for meals which makes dining uncomfortable.

The savoury dishes were great but the scones and desserts were alright, as the desserts were too sweet and scones were too dry (unavoidable though). The lavender earl grey was great though.

The experience has been consistently good. The service was over all excellent, except for two snags: we asked for toothpicks that never came, and our table was laid slightly "off" when the server got our orders mixed up, so that my friend got cutlery that should have been mine, and I didn't get a soup spoon for my soup. My these are minor details. My friend and I both enjoyed the meal very much. I am increasingly booking the Lounge for meeting with friends, and have recommended it to others as well. Well done.

Very good experience here. We visited regularly years ago before leaving hk. Coming back this time, the service is still excellent as usual. Options for dishes becomes more and more wider including Asian foods. We are not Alcohol fans would be great if there’s more options for non alcoholic drinks. Lovely! Kid loves the banana split

I really enjoyed the lunch with my old friend. The atmosphere was relaxing enough that we could carry on talking and talking! All the waiting staff were extremely solicitous without being overwhelming. Loved the dessert.

The sweet desserts were particularly pretty with different forms, colors, and texture - very thoughtful, and not too sweet for most of them - which I liked! Service was good as the waitress was there to explain to us right after we sat down on the afternoon tea menu and did help to refill the hot water from time to time.

Despite having a booking there the first table I was proposed was a very bad accommodation in a poorly decorated corner next to entrance. They accommodate better in a better location after I insisted.
