The flavor profile is unique. Druze cooking, at least according to Gazala, is similar to Israeli, Syrian, and Greek but with subtly different spicing. The Pita-saag was delicious and unlike any bread we'd had before - shaped like a crepe but not the least bit brittle. The waitress was delightful and very helpful guiding us through the extensive dinner menu when we mentioned that we had never been there before. Our only complaint is that there are so fewer selections on the lunch menu!

I found this gem by accident while looking for a comfortable place for 8 of us to enjoy lunch before attending an afternoon performance at Lincoln Center. The walk to the theater was very easy. The food was deliciously fresh and the restaurant was cozy, and as there were quite a few tables outside, inside was somewhat quiet. The apps and salads were scrumptious and the labneh is made with goat cheese (mouthwatering). The homemade ricotta with blueberry jam was "lick the plate clean" delicious. We shared and tasted everything from the giant borekas over eggs to the eggs and chopped lamb combo. From the lamb wrap to the waffles with the ricotta and jam. We enjoyed brunch/lunch and would return to try some of the other dishes.

When my guest arrived early, she texted me and asked “have you been here before” The first impression is it a great one. We ended up staying. Food was ok, competently cooke, but nothing to rave about, my guest thought everything was over- salted, Service was very slow! Wait staff was friendly though. Ran out of the cauliflower dish, surprising since there is a grocery store nearby! 2 appetizers, 2 mains and a bottle of wine =$150, before tip. For that price you can find better options.

The food was excellent, middle eastern but with a different twist. Very unique, my only disappointment was that we were too full to try more dishes, I can't wait to go back. Service was good, we were there on a weekday so not too crowded, we had mint tea which was excellent. If you like middle eastern food you have to try this restaurant.

Excellent neighborhood place for authentic Arabic food. I am a Palestinian and 5 of us had dinner there We had the mezze platter which I highly recommend. We also had the kebabs which were tender and juicy.

Real Middle Eastern food, not a modernized fusion version.. This is what you find in small Druze villages in the Golan Heights or in Haifa or Jordan. Wonderful hummus with a multitude of toppings, Kibbeh, falafel, tabouli, Shawarma etc, etc. I will definitely be a repeat customer.. I love the special thin, freshly baked pita.

Loved our appetizers--crispy artichoke hearts and the best stuffed grape leaves I've ever had. Kabob entree (lamb) was great. Cauliflower in Tahnini was swimming in sauce and obliterated by tahini, excessively rich and hard to finish. Plus over 20 dollars for a pot of cauliflower and onions is a bit excessive. but overall a great experience I think I just chose the wrong entree. Would definitely go again. great menu, excellent service. lovely atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor dining.

The waiters couldn’t really explain the dishes. The restaurant adds a fee for using credit cards but doesn’t notify you until the check arrives and then they don’t have change when you pay cash. The food was bland.

All the wines we wanted to drink were sold out! The branzino was overcooked and dried out. Instead of pita with out hummus we were served a weird type of roti. We’re not going back.
