Such a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. We all had the lunch special of a small salad and small pizza and it was perfect! Our server was delightful. This is such a beautiful, bright restaurant. It is definitely our go-to local place.

We made a last minute reservation to enjoy a beautiful night and sit outside. Maria was our server, and she was lovely. Attentive, but not in an overbearing way. It was wonderful. And the food, as usual, was incredible. That Mushroom Toast App is out of this world, and my salmon salad was the perfect meal on a warm night.

This was my third time eating at Gia Mia Elmhurst. This time my experience was not as great as the previous times. Our server was not attentive, did not make any effort at all. We were not offered a refill on our drinks.Our soft drinks were flat with very little ice. Food was mediocre, my daughters pizza was undercooked , tomato paste was raw.When we told the server she schooled us on how this pizza is supposed to be. I like the outdoor seating as it’s not too noisy and comfortable. Overall the experience was average.

Service was very busy, but spotty. Drinks, entrees and desserts served at different times to diners. Also, suggest some gentle fans for the outside patio. Pizza oven gives off a lot of heat and creating a breeze under the awning would be helpful.

When I made my reservation, I asked for a window table, which I was told was not a problem, but when I got there, even though there were plenty of tables open including ones by the window, the two young women upfront wanted to put me and my family at a high table and in the middle of the restaurant, the excuse they gave me was that that those tables by the window were reserved. I told them that I too had a reservation and that when I made the reservation, I even requested a table by the window and in addition called them after making the reservation online and they had told me that it wouldn’t be a problem. The two young women had no idea what they were doing and were giving first preference to people that they knew. That is totally wrong!! I was so upset with this. They eventually gave us the option of a window high table, or else we had to wait even though they had tables open. The reason they gave me that they couldn’t give me a regular table by the window was because it was a table for 5 and not 4 that we needed. It was the most ridiculous reason I have ever gotten. They were just rude and me and my family had to deal with that rudeness. I love their food and gave dined there several times, but now I will never dine at that restaurant again.

We sat outside on Mother's Day. It was a really busy lunch crowd, but everything and everyone was great! The food is so good, and the kids' menu was perfect for us. Thanks for making it a great day!

Went for Mother’s Day. Took about 30 min for a server to take our order. Didn’t apologize for the long wait. Then spilled a Bloody Mary all over my mom (on accident) but wasn’t apologetic and then gave us the wrong check. All around, a horrible experience

We have dined at Gia Mia several times and I can honestly say that we’ve never had a bad dish. We especially like going with others so that we can enjoy a mix of small plates and pizzas. The food always comes out very quickly, so we try to order an item or two at a time so that we have room on the table and can enjoy each dish. The zucchini fries are definitely a “must” each time we go. We are still sampling our way through all of the pizzas but there hasn’t been a dud yet. Like many restaurants in the post-Covid reality, the service can be a little shaky, but nothing to really complain about, and certainly they are friendly and seem to be trying their best (more likely new and learning the ropes).

We enjoyed our dinner at Gia Mia. We were at one of several tables that are in the front of the restaurant, right on the narrow walkway by the door. It felt a little crowded but was fine. When ordering the bruschetta, I thought our waitress should have pointed out that there would be four pieces for our party of five. We ordered a second order after the first arrived. Sharing two pizzas, two pastas and three desserts was perfect for our group. Everything was very good. Our servers were attentive and we didn’t feel rushed. Gia Mia is a great addition to the restaurants in Elmhurst.

I went for their Monday special with half price off pizzas and the quality and taste was amazing. Our server was great and very attentive I will definitely be coming back.
