    We had a fabulous meal and experience at Ginger. Their creative Asian Fusion mixed with Alaskan cuisine is unique and delicious! The service was amazing as well.

    was celebrating my girlfriend birthday with her, the food was good. i requested a chocolate cake with candle at the end of the meal and the server happily handled it. happy about my experience

    The menu had a number of very creative items, and our meals were very tasty. My wife had the St. Louis barbecue ribs which were very tender and delicious. I had the panang beef curry dish which was also very flavorful and unique. It is one of their signature items and it is a well-deserved title. Our service was good and we would return again to eat at Ginger‘s restaurant.

    We reserved a table during a recent visit to Anchorage. We were seated along a banquette and could people watch. We waited 15 minutes for the waiter to bring us menus. For whatever reason, we disappeared. He kept serving the table next to us but he never once made eye contact with us or took our order. No niceties. We totally understand that restaurants are short-staffed but something weird was going on with the server. One of us spoke to the hostess about our phantom waiter and another fellow who was serving an adjacent area took over. We understand that service in Alaska is laid back and relaxed but this experience left us feeling adrift. We ordered the waygu burger (huge and delicious) and a curry dish that was spicy and quite yummy. If I’d had a straw I would have sipped up the curry sauce. For dessert we ordered the eggroll which was decadent and worth every bite. The noise level was quite high. It’s unfortunate that our visit was dampened by the service.

    Ginger features pan-Asian food. I enjoyed my Penang Beef Curry. It had a lot of flavor and was filling. The Alaska Supreme Ice Cream for dessert topped off my meal. Good food and good service in the heart of downtown.

    Superior food and service. Delighted by this Asian fusion restaurant/menu. Our table of four had fried risotto balls, the Caesar salad with wontons, and different entrées. The pork ribs with roasted salad is truly amazing. The desserts were over the top with five spice infused cheesecake, Matcha crème brûlée, and more. Service was outstanding. Will definitely dine here again at the earliest opportunity!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ginger. Our server, Kay, was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced with many options. I would highly recommend dining at Ginger to anyone!

    The menu at Ginger is very creative and the halibut is to die for. We also enjoyed the banana curry soup and the panang beef curry. The prices are a bit high, but the flavors are worth it.

    The ambience, service, and menu were top notch. The menu has dishes that have succulent flavor combinations. They have steak, seafood, and even a vegan dish. My daughter and I were eating vegan. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, vegan curry, and blueberry egg rolls for dessert. Everything was just perfect. The drink menu was lovely. We were not drinking, so we tried of couple of the "temperance" drinks. Delicious!! A really lovely and elegant restaurant. Will definitely return.

    Great selection of Asian oriented dishes.. we shares the duck pad Thai and the tuna tower and of course the chocolate cake… great service, nice modern atmosphere and favors very authentic. If you like Asian food make a reservation. You won’t be disappointed
