Gino’s Bottega Italiana
The food was excellent. We shared a salada misto and spaghetti carbonara and tiramisu. All delicious.
Wonderful place. I felt like I was in Italy.
We love the food & the outstanding service!!!
This is our second visit this month.
Fine Italian dining
Gino’s is such a great find. The food is delicious, the service personable and the ambiance sophisticated without being ostentatious. This was our third meal at Gino’s and it is becoming our favorite restaurant in Miami Beach.
Very authentic, great food and service. Reasonable price as well.
Between the unassuming but tasteful decor, the creatively selected dining ware, the personal service by the staff, and the excellent modern take on authentic Italian cuisine, I cannot overstate the phenomenal dining experience we had at Gino’s. Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty, offering complex but accessible flavors - specifically, the prosciutto, baked eggplant, orecchiette, roasted pork ribs, and backed lamb rack were exceptional. For dessert, we ate the house tiramisu, Lello’s Cake (their take on a mango cheesecake), and the Sicily Lover. Suffice to say, the plates were almost licked clean.
Overall, Gino’s is an amazing and much welcome addition to the North Beach area, and we look forward to revisiting many a time to come.
Brand new restaurant in North Beach. The food is outstanding, tasty and unusual. Service is great. This place is a winner!
Pasta and food great Service was charming Could be a bit tighter
Food was way too salty. Pricey for amount of food received. Meat was good quality and cooked well enough. Waitstaff was non existent. Bread was stale.
If someone hadn't recommended this place we would have completely overlooked it. From the outside it looks like some pizza shop, but it is far from a pizza shop. Every table was reserved when we went it, so we were glad to have reservations. I will first say that the service is exceptional and similar to what you would expect in a fine restaurant. We started with a Chianti and IPA which was soon followed by sliced crusty bread served in little brown bags and olive oil. For an appetizer, we had the Crudo di Parma DOP 20 Mesi with the burrata. I had no clue what that was other than it was a ham aged 20 months with burrata cheese. I will have to tell you that it was hands down the best "ham" I've ever had and I frequently order charcuterie and cheese when dinning out. The burrata was also excellent. It had a wonderful creamy flavor with a touch of basil and oil oil. For dinner we both had the lasagna bolognese. This was not the typical lasagna with read sauce and meat. It was rich and creamy and had numerous layers of pasta. It was delicious and filling. I could not finish mine but we ordered the tiramisu just to try it. Tiramisu is my favorite Italian dessert and everything else was so good that we had to try it. It did not disappoint. It was more of a crumbled tiramisu rather than a typical layered tiramisu but the taste was classically delicious. There was a hint of crunch in it which was pleasantly surprising. My biggest concern about this place is that I imagine it will soon be impossible to get a table. I am glad we had a chance to try it and will go back again the next time I am in Miami.
What a great and unexpected find! Wow! Every course was excellent and the ambiance was just perfect.
Wonderful food. The servers were terrific. Tiramisu out of this world.
Lovely italian restaurant, all dishes were good.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Gino`s.
The food is at a great level and we loved the bred and oliveoil.
The wait was a little long though.
What a gem. I had the Cuttlefish in its own ink with potato foam and oregano. Wow!! We'll be back.
Fantastic Italian food from Padua, Italy. Cozy, delicious, small place, friendly staff, perfect!
Don’t want to rave too much about it to avoid unable to find a table.
Neighborhood gem, great for casual date with impressive tasty dishes.
Excellent & authentic Italian food!!! We will revisit Gino’s again...very soon.
