This place when you walk in looks nice. We were sat down and our waiter was nice but didn’t really check in. Food was super overpriced and the steak had minimal flavor. Mastros is way better.

We ordered the carnivore and I can share that it was the best steak I’ve had in years. In the same week I also ate at del Friscos and Hugo’s. Wasn’t even close!

We went to GT for our 1st wedding anniversary! We were so well taken care of! We talked about making GT our anniversary/celebration restaurant. Food was amazing and we’re so excited to have family members and friends attend with us next time!

Celebrated my birthday here. Host was very friendly and was a nice upscale location. Service was just okay, very basic. For how expensive the food was it was not flavorful one bit. Got the seafood tower and wagyu ribeye steak and both super bland. Also asked for my steak medium and it was served medium rare. Will say the scallops where the only thing that had a rich flavor. Overall would not recommend.

BEST STEAK EVER!!! We had the Japanese A5 wagyu and it was mind blowing!!! The gentleman who served us was amazing as well and we will definitely come back to GT Prime the next time we are in Chicago!!

We had a small family dinner here. The liquor and wine selection was excellent. The service and meal were also quite good. It's a great place to have a fine dining experience.

arrived 10 min before our 9pm reservation….we weren’t sat until almost 920, in the bar, even though my reservation was for a standard table. i guess the people at the table we had reserved would not leave. however, i don’t think any of the multiple hostesses even asked them to. food was eh…but to be fair we did the restaurant week menu which had a cheaper, tougher cut of steak. id give it another try with the regular menu but the seating issue was just annoying considering it was already 9 and we were starving.

I expect to drop a decent amount of cash for a great steak experience. Unfortunately, this was very average on the steam level. Service was awesome. Sides were very good. Steaks, including the waygu, were very average

Food was really good, but service was EXCELLENT. We ordered the truffle pasta 5/5, Brussel sprouts 5/5, Mashed Potato 5/5, Prime rib 5/5 and cheesecake 4/5. My partner ordered the prime rib and at first it came out salty and taste to my liking but my partner found it too salty. Server came by and took it and gave us a new one which is less salty and came out perfect for her. If you order the cheesecake, please note this is a big cheesecake, good for 4 people. It was good and creamy but lacked more lemon flavor but still good. For service, our server was really nice and checked in on us from time to time but what made it excellent was the guy filling our water. He was so nice and my water wasn’t even half way empty but he’s run over and fill it up right away. He also noticed we weren’t eating the steak so he asked if there was a problem and alerted our server. He was more attentive than our actual server but that was ok. Our table was pretty small so the guy filling our water would take empty plates as soon as we were done so it wasn’t too crowded for us. They also gave me a slice of birthday cake which is also nice because it definitely made me feel special on my birthday. Also about 3-4 people from their staff greeted me as we headed to our table and when we were leaving. Would definitely recommend eating here if you are out for a special occasion or just want to eat somewhere fancy.

The Restaurant Week menu was a great deal. Everything was amazing, however I wasn’t wowed by the salmon or steak. Still a great experience, I’ll definitely be coming back to try other items!
