It was a great time celebrating our anniversary. The food was good and came out quickly. The service was a little spotty but not enough to ruin the meal.

The food was mediocre. We even got the A5 Wago, and it was less than expected in Quality. We ordered the lychee drinks and I told him it was too sweet and they told me the manager said we have to charge you for it. Also, when we left, we ended up smelling like grill smoke.. I will not be going back

2 years ago I was there for my birthday, this time here for mother's day. Thankfully we had reservations this time because the last time we had to wait outside in the rain. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. No sooner were we seated when we were asked what we would like. We ordered our food. Everything started coming out all at once. First the salad followed by the soup, the edemame. Then all the meats and the vegetables. All the food looked good but looks can be deceiving. The meat including the pork was poorly sliced, there was a lot of fat and in some cases some of the meat missed the marinade bath. This visit surprised me since there were many positive reviews. This was a Thursday night the place was not busy there is no reason for the lack of attention and the implied rush act. Since you can't give half stars I shouldn't but I will round up to an overall 3 star.

The experience was disappointing. A waitress was not attentive and rather rude. Service was poor in general. We went there to celebrate Mother’s Day and ordered the special menu without being told that the special dessert was not available. We were one of the first customers that day.

We arrived 5 mins early. They kept us waiting for more than 30 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated - despite big signs stating they will only hold your table for 15 minutes if you’re late. No apologies or acknowledgment made while we stood there waiting. I’ve been to many Gyu-Kaku locations. This one is the worst by far.

When me and my family came in, the girl working at the front didn’t understand we had a reservation. She implied that the next table time will be at 8:45p but we had a reservation, I simply asked what was the reasoning for a reservation if we weren’t going to be seated until 8:45p? I guess she misunderstood and I gave her my name under the reservation and she apologized for the mix up and let me know she found me in the system. We were then seated and everything went smoothly. Don’t know the name of the girl working as the Host but things happens and it’s okay, everyone makes mistakes and you are a good host.
