Harry’s is our go-to restaurant on Longboat and we have never had a bad meal or a bad time there. The food is consistently good and prepared with care, with flavorful sauces and a special touch. The servers are wonderful and friendly. We are nearby so we were introduced to Harry’s over 20 years ago, and always take our guests there for a dinner during their visits. Outdoors is best, feels like a party on a neighbor’s patio but with better food and no dishes to clean up!

My third visit to this gem and hopefully not my last. Pear salad and Scallops were delicious. Server was friendly and attentive. Next time I’ll save room for dessert!

Our food was delicious. Strip steak melted in your montane the Lobster Rigatoni sauce was light and very flavorful. We sat outside and the surroundings were lovely. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly.

One of our favorite restaurants in Longboat Key because the food is always fresh and delicious, it has a pleasant ambience along with friendly and professional staff. The drinks are excellent, too.

We love Harry's- the food is always delicious- quite original and wonderful quality- last nights Rigatoni with Lobster was outstanding. I love the grilled romaine salad as well. The wait staff is always very friendly and helpful. We enjoy sitting in a booth inside but the outdoor seating is lovely. We were too full for dessert but it is consistently yummy.

Always a good meal at Harry's, we enjoyed a fabulous meal including some very tasty desserts. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable of menu and making suggestions. We sat outside which is nice as you can hear conversations around the table. Overall a very good meal in a great place. Highly recommend.

My luncheon grouper selection was not as good as anticipated. Just not all that flavorful. Rice ok, vegetables good. I have grouper every place I go, so my dinner with your restaurant was on my low scale. Other diner getting grouper wasn't satisfied with selection. Diner getting salmon was very very happy with theirs. Diner ordered Ahi Tuna loved it!

On Sunday the menu options include breakfast, brunch and lunch. With a mixed guest list, these options are really appreciated. Extra touches such as petite banana bread bites, as a complementary appetizer, set Harry’s apart from the mainstream. Colourful umbrellas and tables set well apart from each other enhance the outdoor ambience among the hibiscus bushes. Try the raspberry sorbet in a traditional ice cream sundae glass Great for sharing on a hot day.

I like Harry's a lot. The environment is great and the service is great. i think their prices are a little overboard. Probably why we could get reservations late during a very busy time. I had the pasta, which was $31 and it was basically spaghetti noodles with chopped tomatoes and light sauce. I had to add salmon for $10 to make it somewhat tasty. Wasn't much for $41. The wedge salad was great though.

We came to Harry’s after having been there before and dropped several hundred dollars. We enjoyed it the first time so we came back for a second. We came with our 22 year old daughter, and her boyfriend we always, when we come to longboat key, intend to have amazing feasts, and we also know the value of good service and good food, and are willing to pay for both. Our daughters boyfriend ordered a New York strip, which was pretty pricey, and he ordered it medium rare, and also reinforced that he wanted it to not be over done When the very kind and professional waiter delivered the steak he asked him to cut into the New York strip, it was actually over done. In the middle, it was barely pink in the middle. Not MR. Let me take a moment to say, my husband and I own our own practice and I worked my way through high school, college and graduate school in fine dining. I understand this is a business, but what was about to happen was not OK The female manager, who either needs some Customer Service training or, to give her the benefit of the doubt, was just not having a great day, came to the table, and, with a lack of compassion and kindness, tried to shame my daughters boyfriend into accepting a steak that was not done according to the way he had ordered it. She said that it was more pink in the light of the kitchen. She didn’t do it in a nice way, and she didn’t even ask him if he wanted to try it first before asking them to make him a steak according to the way he had ordered it. I was honestly really disappointed in that rude service from the manager. But the waiter and the staff were kind and the food was good so we went ahead and finished our meal and ended up spending over $400 for 4 and gave our waiter a very good and well earned tip. Because of this managers, inconsiderate and ugly behavior, we probably won’t be back.
