The service was bad, I had to go up to our server Antoine before he even bothered to acknowledge us. He went to the table next to us multiple times before he finally came over (after about 10-15 min). On the other hand the food was amazing and worth the price, and I enjoyed the drinks too

We were tired after picking up family member from train station. We had little kids and it was super late. Waiter was an absolute delight. Politely and kindly waited on us, made great recommendations, checked on us frequently and was sweet and attentive to our tired and just arrived in town grandma. Food was delicious and felt homemade with love. Our picky eater asked for seconds and a take home bag. Clean friendly open space and good view of pretty holiday lights. will be back!

Incredible! We went during the very busy Saturday brunch. Niecey- our server - was attentive and fun! The food came out in record time and was hot and delicious. We especially loved the family style option to order 3 apps and 3 entrees with portions for 3 guests ($35 per person). We sat outside and the people watching was next level. Great location! Such a great experience overall! Wishing the owners and staff all the prosperity and positivity possible. Will definitely be back!

The peach mimosas are outstanding! The greens and deviled eggs were the beat! The sauce for the catfish was an added detail! Our food and customer service was great!

We did the family style brunch. That’s a great way to try different things from the menu. Compared to other family style restaurants I’ve been to the set up was odd. If you’re going to order multiple dishes there should be tables big enough to accommodate the dishes & plates on the table. Loved the bacon deviled eggs. The hush puppies were ok, they were lukewarm warm. The fried chicken sadly had no flavor, the waffle was good, just soggy from being under the chicken by the time we got it. The potatoes & greens that came with the catfish was very good. Unfortunately the fish had no seasoning either. I guess that’s why it comes with the comback sauce to save the dish! Shrimp and grits were pretty good. Should eat those first before they get cold. Trying to make room to get to a dish made that difficult. Overall decent brunch.

The food at Hen Quarter is delicious, but they need to work on quality control and time management. I have been to this restaurant 3 times and have been served cold food twice. First time had a wait time of several hours. This time, a party of four who had come in 20 minutes after my group and one before us got their food first. It was bizarre. Those restaurant has the ability to be great, but small thins like this make me not want to come back or be bothered.

This was my 2nd visit to HQ. I enjoyed my first visit very much. The 2nd- not so great. It seemed they were short staffed, so we tried to give grace and have patience. Our table wasn't cleared. We weren't checked on for refills,etc. The hostesses were trying as was the manager, but I found our server to be a bit rude and ultimately addressed it with her and the manager. Not saying I wouldn't go back, but no rush to return.

My guest and I both had the Herb Half Chicken meal and while I didn’t enjoy mine my guest did. My chicken wasn’t seasoned all the way through and it was tough. The broccolini was half cooked and unseasoned. The drink was spot on, I will give HQ another chance, but i won’t order that meal again. I highly recommend the HQ 4 PC Chicken and Waffles Meal. Eric was our server and he was absolutely amazing considering how busy he was his attitude was infused with Sunshine and he was very energetic even though he had a lot of work to do in order to keep business flowing! Please feel free to contact me about that chicken.

Non-existent service After making an 11:30 AM reservation and being seated at 11:36 AM, our table was entirely ignored for over 30 minutes. We were given no water, and no waiter came over to introduce themselves. After 30 painstaking minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. On the way out, we spoke with the manager, who did offer to cover our meal if we stayed, but at that point, we had lost hope that the meal would be worth it, the food would come out hot, etc. Menu looked good, but service (or lack thereof) makes all the difference.

Another good meal. The food was properly prepared and very enjoyable. As usual, the restaurant was very quiet. A degree more attentiveness from the server would have been great since there were very few tables with diners at them. The additional attention to ensure that we were offered the oppoortunity to purchase another round of drinks.

Queen, was my server and she was very attentive, efficient, proficient, professional and she had a superstars smile!🤩 She was amazing!!! I’ve been coming here for years, but haven’t met her until my recent visits!!! I had the HQ Chicken Double Greens and a Sour Amaretto Whiskey…all delicious!!!

The food was decent. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was very good also the wings were excellent. The biscuits were dry and the chicken and waffles were just alright. The service was extremely slow. We had to go find someone to get our check because our server never brought it. Probably wouldn’t go back again.

Slow service, ran out of water, way over cooked salmon. And the place wasn’t packed.. idk kind of a disappointing meal for the Old Town area. Sorry!! Hush puppy appetizer was pretty good.

This Sunday was the worst experience we've had after having been to Hen Quarter several times in the past. We were sat down at 12:00 for a noon brunch, served drinks by 12:10, and also given our food order. Appetizers were served by 12:25 and a refill of appetizers by 12:40 and FINALLY got our entrees by 1:10 p.m. No fault of our server but it seemed the kitchen got extremely backed up and she also had no support in her section as we long wait times for drinks and water refills. Management was nowhere to be found to communicate what the delays were. Overall, a pretty bad experience for just a party of 4 people.

Good Morning, It was my first time at Hen's Quarter and overall it was a good experience. The food was exceptional (especially the greens). Our service could've been a little better, I believe our waiter was a little overwhelmed & the hostess wasn't quite attentive as one should've been. But for the first visit, it was a good experience.

The service was great! The only downside is the food came out lukewarm. I think they were just busy which caused the servers/runners to bring the food out slower than normal. I will still recommend the restaurant because overall it was a great experience.

Food was awful l. The waffles were bad and the shrimp and grits was even worse. The peach tea was too sweet and no peach flavor. The chicken was so bland. We were overcharged for what we got. I would not be coming back, they must have a new owner.

The worst dining experience I have ever had. First, I unwrapped my napkin and it had strings of hair in it and lettuce was stuck to the fork. I let the lady who was busing the tables no and she brought us all plasticware. The server took our drink order and basically never came back. We were seated next to the window and we saw the guy who we later found out was the manager walking out the restaurant walking down the street somewhere and returning with a plunger in his hand. A few moments later, he was back working the tables and it was a huge turn off. He came over to our table and apologized about the dirty napkin issue. He assured us that we would not be rushed out because it was taking so long for us to be served That was all he did. After we waited for an hour without getting any service we left. I would never go there again. I get sick to my stomach thinking about that napkin and wondering what he did with that plunger. It used to be a really nice place but it hasn’t gone down 500%. I would never ever go there and I would not recommend that anyone else goes there. I had to pay for parking for a dining experience that I never received.

The shrimp and grits had no flavor. The hostess, not too friendly, came off rude. The server was great. I believe she should learn the menu a bit more. When asking questions about specific ingredients, she had no clue.
