From the outside it is not what you expect but this is a hidden oasis. A delightful restaurant with fabulous decor. Food was exceptional and service excellent. Would highly recommend.

Apart from the excellent quality of the food, the staff here are very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely attentive. We can't recommend Hibou Blanc more highly and can't wait for the opening of the Grey Owl.

Dined at 18:30 on Saturday evening, arrived through the bar which was busy and very noisy with several raucous tables. Thankfully the restaurant was quieter and became quieter still as the meal progressed. I have dined here several times and was pleased to see that the food just keeps getting better, this meal being the best so far. A lot of new faces among the serving staff, but all must have had good training as the standard was high. A thoroughly enjoyable evening in comfortable surroundings.

Both my daughter & I really enjoyed Hibou blanc. The service, food etc was excellent. The starters of scallops & steak tartare were delicious , as were our main of a fillet steak & the halibut. Fab atmosphere & beautiful surroundings - definitely be back. 👍

We went with family and friends for my wife’s Birthday (7 people). Cannot fault the the food which was excellent, or the service which was attentive, professional and very friendly. The problem was the table was opposite the opening to the restaurants very busy public bar which in itself was not a huge problem apart from it being very loud. The real problem was the table was next to the door to the male and female toilets which all the bar patrons used so a CONSTANT steam of customers all night walked back and forward from the public bar to the restrooms directly by the table. I would not be exaggerating to say this happened every minute with groups or singles walking directly by the table. I would put the number at around 60 - 70 people at least per hour foot flow past the table, it was constant! The meal came to around 500 GBP which was fine for 7 people but not for that table, It should be removed or diners warned when booking of the tables location

Food and drink is excellent and well presented but expensive. Would only visit now for special occasion. Nice to have linen table cloths on tables. Surprised at the noise levels which travelled from bar area. A goodwill gesture, of more than paper towel to get clothes dry after a bottle coke was knocked over one of the party by member of staff, would have been greatly appreciated.

I cannot fault the food it was amazing! I cannot fault the staff and service that too was amazing.... But.... I had booked a table for 2 for 6pm on a Saturday evening for myself and my husband for a romantic meal (I booked an early dinner to avoid the Saturday night madness) unfortunately we were seated by the kitchen service area between toilet entrance and the bar which was really busy. The music was hopping and my husbands chair kept getting knocked about by drunk people from the bar going to the toilet shouting and screaming and falling over, and we had the kitchen staff shouting "service" every few minutes. I personally couldn't wait to leave. I wish we had been told about where we were going to be seated. There shouldn't be seats here, this is a walk way to the toilets and kitchen service area. And this was only 6pm in the evening... it was not an enjoyable experience...but like I say the food and service was brilliant.. it was just unfortunate where we were seated.

Such a lovely place to go for dinner! We were really impressed with the menu and quality of the food, especially for the price point. All members of staff were lovely in the restaurant, and at the bar where we went for a drink afterwards. Will definitely be recommending to people, and returning!
