The service and food are consistently good in Home Restaurant. They have managed to constantly improve on their food making every visit a memorable experience. My favorite is the lamb. It has always been excellent in all the various forms in which the chef has prepared it.

We ate at Home 9/20/23. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the trout. They were both excellent! It was had to choose from the items on the menu. Everything sounded wonderful! The staff are so nice and accommodating! We will be back!

Disappointed that the restaurant no longer offers Frogtown wine and the scallop dish was too salty for our tastes but still a nice restaurant and we will plan to return and ask a few more questions about the menu.

Such a pleasant surprise! The food was nothing short of perfection. From the complementary focaccia bread to the best brussels app I’ve ever eaten to our main dishes, everything was outstanding. Could not recommend this restaurant more.

Our dinner was wonderful; hot & served with elegance. Atmosphere was outstanding with music very enjoyable that allowed for romantic discussions with my wife without disruptions. Home is a very special restaurant because of how it’s managed. The Home staff is professionally trained & it is obvious the moment you are greeted at the front door. Consistently delicious, creative and fresh farm-to-table menu. My husband tried the Home Burger for the first time. It will not be the last. Absolutely delicious perfectly grilled beef on a homemade bun. We shared a Caprese Salad flatbread small plate for a starter that was also absolutely delicious. I tried a new fresh half fish with pisto (think Ratatouille) also delicious and light, so there was room for the fresh peach cobbler with ice cream. All amazing! Also a shout out to Kayla, our server, who is always thoughtful and attentive. She provides excellent and enthusiastic guidance to the ever-changing menu.

What a gem! It's a farm-to-table type restaurant with knowledgeable and passionate servers. The food just keeps getting better and better. I love the weekly menu with specials. I have less choice with a gf and df diet but they are always very accommodating. Loved the new lamb appetizer and my fish was buttery soft and the okra - the best I've ever had! The basil coconut ice cream had a unique and delicious flavor. Can't wait to go back.

We were celebrating a birthday. Home Restaurant had a birthday greeting waiting on the table, offered a celebratory glass of champagne, and had special desserts for the celebration. They always go out of their way to be welcoming! Always great and friendly service. And the food - yum!

Fabulous meal! We were all so pleased with the weekly choices. Dining at 7:30 some of the selections were no longer available, but ALL of us enjoyed our entrees! My husband said his steak could have rivaled any restaurant in Atlanta. Our server, Kayla did a fabulous job taking care of our table for 8! As always! We are so fortunate to have Home Restaurant outside the gates of Big Canoe...a first class restaurant in the mountain! Lucky us!!
