We asked in advance about concerns surrounding dietary requirements. One member of our party is gluten free and dairy free. We were assured that there were options. And not to worry. The reality was there were no options apart from salad and fries. Nothing could be prepared with gluten free or dairy free options? Really not impressed. This is such a small detail that would really make a difference if someone just considered for a second that people have allergies and intolerance. They don't want to be notified of allergens. They want accommodated! Signs everywhere advising to ask about the hotels dog menu. Our 4 legged friends are catered for better than their owners.

We were staying the the Courtyard by Marriott hotel overnight due to attending an event at the Armadillo in Glasgow and reserved a table in the in-house restaurant for a light meal prior to the concert. The dining area was very well presented and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. Our order arrived very quickly, was hot and delicious, the wait staff were attentive but not pushy and we really enjoyed the experience.

Ordered the spare ribs, like warm drizzled with sauce, probably microwaved, so,so fatty as well as a tast of being Off. Two mouthfuls and simply left. Disgusting to say the least

We had a long wait for our food, when it arrived the ribs were cold and seemed like something that you would make at home rather than get in a restaurant.

Limited menu but ideal for a pre-gig meal. My beef burger was one of the biggest, juiciest burgers I’ve had in a long time and very tasty. My daughter had the wee rack of ribs and ordered a side of fries and she thought that was plenty and she was glad she didn’t order the full rack. Drinks were tasty and reasonable. Both arrived with spillages though. Our table was close to the chef’s counter so it was quite smelly with all the different dishes being cooked. Staff were lovely and friendly. Would dine there again if we stay in that hotel. Just across the road from the OVO Hydro so ideally located.

Hopscotch is fine for a hotel restaurant. Choices are a bit limited but with the limited footfall it's to be expected. The food was tasty although it could have been a bit hotter. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious (there were only 5 other tables being used whilst we were there) and the staff were pleasant. Prices were pretty much what you'd expect for a city hotel.
