Food was not good. Won’t recommend this restaurant to my friends.
One male staff who served us was not kind.
I had a booking for 7 this week for my wife’s birthday. When we arrived the manager gave us a corner seat with minimal view of the harbour, she refused to arranged a different seat whatsoever. The beef ribs were dry and overdone.....However the best moment of the night was that the waitress serving us the drinks spilled the whole glass of apple juice to my son, he was absolutely soaked!!
Thanks team for the unforgettable dining experience at Hurricane Darling Harbour!
Food was amazing! Place was really busy and had to wait 15mins even though we had a booking. Pricing is standard for hurricanes. Food came out quickly. Waiter that served us was great, even checked up on us during the evening. We even had a table on the window which was great. Thanks for the amazing night
Great. Always love Hurricane’s Grill pork ribs.
Great location, great view, good ribs. Restaurant is very crowded, fortunately we made reservations beforehand
It was amazing -
Always lovely food, prompt efficient service. We dine here every time we come to Sydney as it is consistently wonderful.
Perfect view. Decent service.
Ribs are good. But the stakes and just so so.
Wait was too long even with reservations made for 2 pax. Reservation was 6:30pm, I was there at 6:15pm however I waited till 7pm for our seats. A couple that came after us was showed to a table first.
The food and drinks were great! A particular female waitress wasn’t really attentive while taking the food order, and served us the drink we didn’t order. I ordered the popcorn dessert cocktail not the biscotti, so the biscotti drink was served and she persistently insisted that was the popcorn drink. Product knowledge isn’t superb. Furthermore, she was the one that brought us the bill and the biscotti drink was in the bill too.
You would expect that Tuesday evening would be relatively quiet. It was nothing like that. The restaurant was full earlier in the evening even before 7:00 pm.
Hurricane Grill has always been popular with tourists so it is only normal for one to expect service is world class. Personally my experience is that even if at times you feel lost in the crowd, someone would come to your table to see how things are going and remind you that you're being looked after, in spite of the volume of guests.
The food is good. The timing of when meals arrive is excellent. Overall, the experience is wonderful.
Making on-line reservation is a must a few days before intended meal time, especially if coming for a special occasion. Weekends would even be more crowded.
Rude waiters , terrible service , food was okay , ambiance and view was great . Disappointing experience with my family who came all the way from Indonesia.
Will come back again
The waiters are super rude!!! I won’t go there anymore!
We’ve been to hurricane a few times, I have a lot of overseas visitors and they love to come here. Service is a bit hit and miss here but our recent visit was very disappointing from service point of view. Our servant, I wish I remember her name, she was very rude and just kept rushing us to order. Mind you more than half of the restaurant was empty and there is no queue outside. We went at lunch time. Even the girl who showed us to our table was rude. We were actually confused where we were meant to sit, she just pointed to a table without turning around to us and kept walking to talk to the other staff. Food wise, it was good but very expensive for what it is. Won’t be returning in a hurry.
Had an early booking for 6pm and was quite uncomfortable how quickly the food arrived and staff pushing for us to leave main was served on top of entree so meal could not be enjoyed, all food served by 1840 and had ordered Entreés and mains and cut a birthday cake ourselves in this time, the whole experience was just rushed and whilst food was okay the being rushed through by staff put a dampener on our experience here, very dissapointed
Good location with awesome bay view, excellent food with proper serving size and quality, splendid service, very polite and caring waitress. Price is not cheap but worth visiting again. Definitely recommended.
The beef rib was quite dry, not juicy at all. The seafood was OK but lobster was very very very very stale. The smell of the lobster was pungent, like the seafood had already been stored for a long time. Disgusting
I visited this restaurant for business for 3 people - each dish was cooked to perfection and served in very good time - the service was also very attentive - whilst the views are good at Darling Harbour the ambiance of the restaurant left a little to be desired but I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Lovely vibe, fast efficient service and food is always good. Bookings are ideal as its always busy.
Perfect for dinner with friend.
Good food, services.
thanks a lot
The service was shocking! Had to wait all night asking 3 times for the brown table bread. Very bad
Not worthy the price for the service and the food. We were expecting more in general. The pork ribs are really good but way too much expensive
Great food, however a lot of staff doing a lot of things with the exception of looking to serve customers. Not sure if they have over partioned the roles of the staff but even getting a drink was a chore
Great food. Fast and efficient service. Amazing pork ribs, falling of the bone and I recommend the garlic prawn and the Louisiana chicken wings in entree...
Better to book ahead as it is always packed...
Hurricane Grill at Darling Harbour is a new fav! I had the BBQ meat platter and everything that came with it was cooked to perfection and is very filling. I booked a week early and requested a window table overlooking darling harbour, made me and my partners anniversary dinner even better. Will be back again
I had a meal with my precious friends on the first day of the trip. It's so delicious!!I made a reservation this time and it was really nice.If I come again later, I will learn English and order menu fluently.Thank you so much!I finally know why you're so famous.Haha
We’ve been coming here for my partners birtday an mine for the last few years.
This time was the only time that had not met our usual expectations.
Our food orders were mixed up, our drinks arrived almost at the end of our meal an the combo meals we had the pork wasn’t particularly nice. I left most of it.
Regardless we still tipped the waitress even though we weren’t offered water, hand towels or bibs for the meal as it can get messy. Not sure I’ll be coming for my birthday now this year.
Our fav date night venue
Was told seafood platter had all this stuff in it only come with half they said
our order was taken promptly and our entree came out in good time. The problem was that our main meals came out 3minutes after our entrees and our table was overflowing with food. We were shuffling food around trying to make space. Both entrees and main meals arrived at our table luke warm. The salad was limp and looked days old. We felt rushed as thought they wanted us in and out as quickly as possible. We dinned at 5pm because we had children and at although very early the music was so loud I couldn't hear my family talking across the table from me. The most disappointing part of the evening was my husband is a coeliac and ordered gluten free pork ribs and within an hour was crippled over in pain as he had been glutened. Very disappointing.
Good service, nice food
Best ribs in Sydney. Good atmosphere. Staffs are kind.
Waitress was awesome. Food was possibly the best I’ve EVER had. But you get what you pay for, as it was a bit pricey. But I would go back time and time again. Food was to die for, and the view of the Harbour was amazing.
Great atmosphere, tasty food and superior service. Our host was fantastic and the view from our table was spectacular even more so we got to watch the vivid fireworks.
Everytime we come to Sydney we go to Hurricanes yet lately, everything seems to be slipping. There is no structure at the entrance and they just seem to want to get you out ASAP
The waiter take too long to come to our table for order, the ribs was very chewy and dry.
A great place to dine out with good food and good view too. Even though waiting staff were busy, they still put in the effort. Food didn't take long to arrive, tasted good especially the ribs and the house specialty lamb.
When we had lunch there, we got 2x wrong order, sweet pototoes instead of baked potatoes, herb tea (ginger etc) instead of ice lemon tea.Fortunately, we liked them even the waiter served the wrong orders ,no need to cancel. But still we got to reordered our menu
