Hutong is a must visit for food and ambience and spectacular views of Hong Kong!
Good food, great service, and spectacular views of the Hong Kong skyline. Recommended!
We took the Feng Wei Brunch and it was just perfect …. the food is beyond imagination..: very yummy 😋
Amazing views and delicious food. You don't mind paying for this kind of quality.
Great food and drinks (especially the sake, it was so smooth), ambience was perfect, service was outstanding, one great point was the view of the 270 degree Victoria Harbour. It would be better if there was 變臉 performance! Would re-visit Hutong once again when the 變臉 performance is available again!
Excellent view & ambience, good food and service ok.
I went there fir lunch with my friend. Great value for money!
Food was wonderful! Service was very slow. Had to ask for things at least 3 times.
Fantastic. I have eaten at Hutong many times over the years. This is the first time it has been relaxing. No rush, no noise. Bliss.
Excellent Silk Road set menu choice, beautiful quality, spicy and flavoursome.
Gorgeous view of Victoria harbour.
Quite a wait for the wine as none was chilled and we had to ask to order our food.
Expensive but excellent.
very nice setting and services. Price is reasonable for quality of food. Already recommended to few friends. good for work event also private gathering.
An amazing view, incredible decor and fabulous food!
If only the food was as good as the view. We were extremely disappointed by every dish. We will never go back, and given how empty the restaurant was it seems others may also have come to the same conclusion.
Amazing food, amazing view! Not very busy in a Tuesday at lunchtime… but didn’t take anything away from what was a very tasty meal!
Beautiful setting , ambience and food was fantastic . Alcoholic drinks are expensive .
We had the set lunch which was excellent and great value
Food and ambiance were great. Service medium. Wine list pricing was ridiculous - very poor.
Easy access location with great view of the harbour.
The food is great if you like spicy stuff but there are also good stuff for kids. The bathroom is worth mentioning if you like antique feel.
This is particular interesting to have the Master doing Chinese calligraphy drawing for your name.
Not our first time here and surely we will come again.
They claim the restaurant is 1 of top 5 Chinese restaurants in Asia. I don't see how and why that is so.
ALMOST everything about the restaurant is great, except for the BLASTING air con. I felt sick after being there for 2 hours because it was blowing on me the entire time.
Great ambience, great food, great view, great decor
We had the set lunch menu which was the only option so we didn’t have much of a choice
Great view and great food; Overall a good experience.
Service is poor. Staff often does not look in your direction. Forgot our orders more than once
Outstanding food and views for a reasonable price - highly recommended
Very nice place and location. The food was very tasty. Only problem is the staff who forgot I made a RSVP I’m advance near the Window for my Anniversary..
Went for weekday lunch set, was not crowded and we git a lovely seat by the window. Luckily we got clear skies and the harbour views were fantastic. The food was delicious too. Decent variety and reasonably priced at 228+. Will go again...
Great place to go as always! Dinner or brunch all lovely!
Amazing treat. Authentic food, lovely atmosphere and fantastic views. The perfect venue for a special evening. Recommend the flaming Peking duck which was the best we had ever eaten.
Great night out; we got table by the window which was a little dirty but the view was still amazing. We went for the set menu which was well thought through and we enjoyed most dishes. The service was very accommodating and happily added and swapped dishes per our request. Little noisy but overall great dinner and ambiance. I was a little worried reading some of the other reviews here so hope this helps reassure other diners that it is a place worth the visit.
We had lunch. The lunch menu is alright. The potions were fine for seniors, The desserts were excellent. The view overlooking the Harbor is great. Except the washroom is too dark.
Food and service is not as aspected
Sea view is good but the window is not clean
The food are very so so if compared to Duddell’s. No refill but a fixed course which leaves no flexibility to diners. Inclusive of non-alcoholic drinks is the upside though. Staff didn’t pay attention to two pregnant women and didn’t proactively offer two cushions. The ambience is nice but it’s super hot next to the glass walls.
Free course for kid under 12 is definitely a plus though.
Overpriced with poor service for essentially a view over looking Victoria harbour. Unless you have a table next to the window it is simply not worth the effort or money. We booked well in advance and yet were not offered a table next to the view even though one was available, and remained available, on the night.
The food was alright but did not have any zing about it. Only one dish drew positive comments from our group.
Disappointed would sum up our experience.
Hutong is normally a special place that we go to so we booked for my birthday and we were disappointed. The service was super slow we arrived and had more than 10 mins before we were asked if we wanted a drink, the food was ok but the Crab was awful and the most expensive dish
La música muy alta para conversar
Very noisy from the private room. Can hear they shout from the far end but no one attempt to talk to them. Wine portion is too small. Just two sips to finish a house wine.
