The restaurant can seat up to 150 guests, all of whom will have full views of the iconic Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour. With 360 degree views that wrap around the venue, Hutong has a maximum capacity of 200 persons standing.
One of the best restaurant in Hong Kong, the view is just stunning the food is amazing!
Incredible experience. Perfect unintrusive service. Fantastic food. Stunning g views. We’d ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was delicious. Presentation was great. Wines were fabulous. Looking forward to returning to Hutong on our next HK trip.
Great view to Hong Kong, great design
The view of Hong Kong skyline and harbor is spectacular! Food is decent. If you want very good Chinese food, this is not the place. This is one of the best choice if you’re tourist or you want to impress overseas visitors.
Appetizers were not good. Mains were ok. Very cold in restaurant and very noisy
Unbeatable view. We recommend going for the duck pancakes. So tasty!
Amazing views. Food was very good (super spicy) but we over-ordered for five people, despite asking if we had.
Hutong is our favorite restaurant to take guests on their final night in Hong Kong. The decor is iconic Hong Kong, the food is consistently fabulous and the service is seamless. Our favorite dishes are the Peking Duck, the waghu dumplings, crab fried rice and mango sticky rice. Highly recommend for nice dinner out and special occasions.
Very Nice restaurant, good service and great view. Disappointed by the quality of some dishes like sezchuan chicken in particular : tasteless
Nice place, with different angles. Food is good and service too. Although we arrived late we were well received.
OK, first, there should be an option for 'Yes and No' .....
The place is beautiful, the view is fantastic and the food was good. We went primarily for the Peking Duck only to be told the BBQ machine or whatever they use was not working; so no Peking Duck...Another bewildering thing: We made the reservation for 2:30 lunch. We arrived at around 2:15 and were told food order had to be placed by 2:30 because they close @ 3:00 before their dinner hour. What???
So I'm not sure what all the mishaps, but coming from San Francisco, I would say go for the experience, but the food isn't all that.
Really enjoyed Hutong experience. Food was delicious and beautifully combined. A great intro for the visitors with a stunning backdrop of HK harbour. Service was attentive and efficient. A traditional puppet show was a nice touch, especially if you come with kids.
Cocktails were hit and miss and served in the plainest of the drinking glasses, which felt very out of place vs the rest of the setting.
Absolutely fantastic service and the best Chinese food we’ve had in HK. Requested a window table for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed with the stunning view. Decor and ambiance of restaurant was amazing - classy and tastefully done. Will definitely return and highly recommend
Middle quality food with the high rates value. You're really pay for the harbour view.
The overall experience was excellent. I had been recommended by a relative who dined at Hutong in September for lunch.
Initially it was quite dark but we became accustomed to that after a while.
The chairs were a bit cumbersome to move in.
The view was spectacular and the light show with music was great.
The ladies bathroom was awesome :)
The food was extraordinary....loved the spice
I would most certainly recommend Hutong.
Thank you for a great night.
I booked a window seat but did not get any while there were tables available upon my arrival..
We regularly take visitors here as it has one of the best views of the harbour and interesting food. They did close recently for a renovation but apart from changes to the secondary dining area we're at a loss as to what they renovated - looks the same. However, we do like the decor.
On the food side, unfortunately they ditched the excellent and unique deep fried duck version of Peking Duck - the traditional version is very good though. The Red Lantern soft shell crab was outstanding and the other dishes were excellent. The wine list is solid and service is pretty good.
Our 2nd visit to this fabulous place. We hope to make a 3rd visit next time we’re in Hong Kong.
table position and service was excellent. The speed of service and quality of the food was very good too. We had no issues at all and would go back again with no hesitation.
Wonderful service! We let the staff know that we were coming for our honeymoon and my.husbands birthday. As well as me eating gluten free- they took care of us, served amazing outstanding gluten free and regular food that my husband ate. The view was gorgeous and the service was great!
Great experience with delicious food delivered by excellent and knowledgeable staff. Atmosphere and styling is superb and overall will be a memorable experience to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommended!
Although Hutong still in the top 3 of our favourite restaurants in HK this time was not the greatest. I ordered as usual the Pekin roasted duck as it is always exquisite but I feel they gave me mostly skin and fat this time. We had the Purple Azalea (nothing to look forward next time) and my wife had a Pineapple crush which had ni passion fruit at all only pineapple juice although is meant to have orange and passion fruit. The waiter was kind enough to take it away from the bill after the 2nd attempt to fix the drink. The Lamb shank was exquisite as usual and the green tea rice balls were good too. Overall non alcoholic drinks needs some effort for the price you pay for it.
Great view!!
Such a wonderful experience, highly recommend! Food is amazing and the view is out of this world
My favourite restaurant in HK - fantastic food, atmosphere and views
Expensive but excellent food, great service and stunning views - i love coming back
Every time in Hong Kong I make my way to this restaurant and it always delivers. Exception location, food and service. I will be back.
Great view of the island but food was nothing special.
Girlfriend’s birthday
Very nice atmosphere, good food goodcservice but a bit pricy .
What an amazing meal. My friend has a shell fish allergy and the care and customer service was amazing!!! I loved it.
Views were spectacular! Brilliant brunch. Brilliant value for money. Can’t complain really. Amazing time.
Great food very well presented and delicious highly recommend and will certainly be back when we are in Hong Kong again
Amazing brunch with 18 courses ! Definetly recommended
Great Sunday brunch and show. Highly recommended for a very pleasant afternoon
The food here used to be spectacular, but it has gone done a lot in the last three years. It is still good, but not as good as it used to be. The main courses are quite bland and are nothing like North Chinese / Sichuan flavours. This used to be my favourite brunch in Hong Kong, but I am reassessing this after my last visit. What a shame.
Very nice harbor view and the food is quite good. But do not order the Dragon Tail.
雰囲気の良い店でした。
The best Peking duck we have had and the the view.. wow you just have to experience it to believe it.
Thank you Hutong for making our special evening a memorable one.

Our connecting flight was cancelled at Hong Kong International airport and we had 6 hours free. We hoped on the airport train walked around downtown HK and then took the ferry to Kowloon. A Google search "restaurant Kowloon view of Hong Kong" came up with Hutong, a link to "OpenTable" provided a reservation and voila we were set for lunch. The construction made the entrance difficult to find but soon we were in the elevator to the 28th floor. Wow what a view. My wife had never been to HK before and this was amazing. Could lunch live up to the view? The lunch menu was perfect. The food was eclectic and delicious. The combination of elegantly presented and tasty food combined with a bottle of wine and soon our irritation at the flight cancellation was an unexpected gastronomic, cultural and visual delight. Thank you Hutong just what we needed prior to our rescheduled 15 hour flight.
Very disappointed with the food, and very expensive for what is was. Both the chicken and pork dishes ordered were dry with no flavour. The chilli chicken dish had so many chilli’s you couldn’t enjoy it. Hutong Hong Kong is nothing like Hutong London. There was no atmosphere, we hardly touched the food, finished our drinks and left.
