Nestled in bouldery mountains along historic Old Highway 80, in a magical high desert community lies the Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel. The hotel has been designed with a sense of place, with natural materials, textures, & objects from ancient & primitive cultures from around the world. Our restaurant offers indoor dining under vintage ceramic lights and desert landscapes or our large outdoor shaded patios under a canopy of old-world lanterns and pine trees with a live music stage.

Our menu features an International High Desert menu that showcases the farms and ranches of Imperial Valley, the fresh seafood of Baja, and specialty regional purveyors. Make sure to save time to enjoy high desert elixirs, herbal tinctures, cold-pressed juices, tonics, and cocktails, handcrafted in our exotic desert hideaway bar.

Not really worth the drive in my opinion. The food was expensive and not really good. More Tex Mex which I didn’t expect from a resort on the border. The short rib was fine, the cauliflower and puree was completely forgettable. Not worth 34 bucks. Elote was fine but the tres leches cake had to be the driest worst cake I have ever had. My friend didn’t even finish his.

Service was outstanding. The food was so good. We had the guacamole for an appetizer, very tasty.I had the short rib and it literally melted in my mouth. My friend had the Mole chicken and it was also amazing. After dinner we stayed and went in the hot springs pool. It was so relaxing.

Great setting and ambiance. Weather was nice so we ate outside on the covered patio. Mezze platter appetizer was delicious. I ordered the sea bass entree, which was good but very salty.

My husband & I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we needed to get away from our busy lives & have a relaxing, peaceful getaway at an oasis. The food is delicious- the drinks are craft cocktail made - the service is on point & the atmosphere is vibey & unbeatable. Even in the heat of the summer the hot spring is cooling. It warms you up at night when the temperature drops & keeps you chilled during the day with a summer breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Jacumba Hot Springs Mineral hotel and restaurant in Jacumba is a unique location off the beaten path approximately 65 miles from San Diego. The restaurant has indoor dining while outdoor misters and shade keep the dining area cool in the summer heat. The avacado toast with pickled red onions and carnitas tacos were both delicous. The Highway 80 breakfast included large eggs, bacon and greens with a light dressing was delicious but no toast was offered. Still very good. Hostess was not aware of any Open Table reservation but there were plenty of seats available. The hotel and mineral springs look very inticing which is a reason to come, stay a night or two and enjoy all that is offered. They also have a full bar and pool service. We will back.
