Love eating outside here. It’s a side-street so it’s not crazy loud like restaurants along avenues or every-damn-where inside. Love the salsa here and the mole enchiladas. Good margaritas. Food came lightning fast, by the way. Nice server. Was our second visit of 2022 maybe-almost-post-pandemic summer. (We had been once before the pandemic and it was super loud, which we didn’t like, so this review is admittedly a bit influenced by having been outside most recently. Of course, the food and all the other factors were the same when we ate inside here, too.) Definitely recommended. (Did I mention we hate loud restaurants?)

Food was great as always. Service was great as always. We sat indoors. They did not have the air conditioning on and it was sweltering. I felt especially bad for the servers who had to work in that heat.

Both and myself and my friend got sick from the food. I had a fairly swift and severe allergic reaction to the prickly pear margarita apparently. Rash and swelling all over my face and neck. My friend was up all night with digestive distress.

This restaurant now clearly prioritizes delivery & pickup orders over their in restaurant patrons. Wait time to get even a water refill was incredible. Either increase the staff or decrease the online ordering system. Both will continue to suffer

Extremely accommodating. We got there a bit early and sat us early. Waitstaff were accommodating and friendly, catering to whatever whim we had. As a Texan, the TexMex is the best in the city and is a place I look forward to going.

Waitress was nice, but service was horrible. Drinks didn’t come, we also had to remind we ordered appetizer, then food came out right behind it but was not hot. Different people brought food or drink, so if you asked for something (ie serving utensils) we had to ask multiple times. Also, a sewage truck parked right next to our tables and hooked up sewage line (we had outdoor table)

I love this place—great queso, great crispy tacos and great margaritas. The homemade flour tortillas are the best I have had in NYC—and go perfectly with the queso. Service is always upbeat and helpful. Avery did a super job!
