Yet another Open Table seating issue. Arrived on time for our 6:30pm reservation, and they wanted to seat us a bar, versus a table which there were open tables available. When I told them that we want a table. This is why we made the reservation, the hostess then asked us to wait. After a few minutes, says, " I have a small table available", and takes us to a 2 top, in the middle of the restaurant. The couple who arrived at the same time we did, did not have a reservation and were seated at a far better table along the wall away from the main traffic area, where we were seated.

Corny music. Supposedly a nice restaurant they have a guy with an electric saxophone playing Shrek. Food was way too salty. Expensive. Just go to royal China instead.

We Love Jia so much!! The staff knows us after a few trips and they always are so friendly and happy! Amazing food and great ambiance! Gotta try to the sushi sushimi combo and the lichi martini!

Imagine walking into an “Asian lounge” on a Friday night in February and there’s a live musician playing guitar and singing “under the boardwalk” with his microphone about 10x louder than it should be for the small venue. Well, that really happened at Jia. The music was off theme and way too loud. The music was a better fit for a 40 year high school reunion. They have sushi but this is not a sushi place! Couldn’t get a last minute reservation elsewhere so we tried this place for sushi. Nope. Very basic, probably not made in-house. If it was, it was made earlier in the day. Might be good for mid grade Chinese food but this is not a place for a finer dining experience. And the “lounge” vibe is nonexistent.

We had a reservation but when we arrived, they told us it would be a 30 to 40 minute wait. They seemed very confused and unorganized. Other people with reservations were waiting long periods also. We have been here (or gotten take out) many times. The food is good but the restaurant just seems to be run poorly.

To be fair, I ended up not eating there. They were having a very difficult time managing the phones, grub hub and people waiting for a table. They definitely were not prepared.

I went for a GNO and sat upstairs. They had live music and he was great. The food and staff was amazing and very accommodating. They actually have parking right out front, which I didn’t know when I was parking. Everyone was so welcoming and polite. I ended up having a lot of leftover and warmed up my cashew chicken the next day… phenomenal!

Very good Chinese food. Very authentic, especially when you consider the fact that it is in the Park Cities not Plano or Richardson. My wife and I both loved it. Her office is walking distance so I'm sure we will be back.

Really like this place. Chinese, Thai, sushi. We don't eat Chinese much, but both dishes were great. Love the semi-casual ambiance. Good price-point. Nice portions to share or take home left overs.

The food was bland. Dishes that promised to be spicy were not. The salt and pepper fried shrimp were greasy and lacked salt and pepper. The crispy beef was passable but no better that typical mall food court quality. The steamed wontons were over cooked and somewhat mushy. The cocktails were watery. A big disappointment.

Good food and soup options are not available as a bowl for the family. Recommend adding a soup bowl as an option would be desirable. A cup of soup is small and expensive. The ambiance is ok...not great. The food overall is good in terms of quality and taste but quantity versus price, the restaurant should reconsider their strategy...add more to the entree or reduce the price. I ordered Brocolli on the side instead of rice, but wasn't told that the entrees would come with Brocolli too. I was charged 6 dollars for the side order, which wasn't needed...
