   It was my daughter’s birthday last night and I wrote on my reservation that it was for a birthday but the server didn’t acknowledge it. Some of our party arrived later and my daughter ordered dinner and it was forgotten until she asked that it be sent to go. Her dinner was taken off our bill but I ordered a dessert and usually when it’s a birthday it’s taken off the bill too. I brought my own cake slice for my daughter because she’s vegan but it wasn’t picked up on. The server seemed scattered we had to ask others to fill our water several times and take the menus. Usually we have good experience but we were crammed into a booth next to another table with plants. The new Reno doesn’t seem to accommodate big parties well. We had a stroller in the isle for the baby. It was disappointing this time.

   Good food. Great service. Too loud. Not a good place for quiet fine dining. If you are looking for a rock and roll joint this is the place.

   Food Great service great. Noise level unacceptable! Way too loud. Hard to visit with clients or guests. If you want a wild night club atmosphere this is the place for you! If you want fine dining in a quiet setting this is definitely not for you! With the new Reno they have opened the bar area with no way to contain the noise from the bar and television area. So sad. Nice place but management has not figured out who they want to cater too! Perhaps it is the younger crowd. Definitely not for fine dining!

   I made our reservation for 5 people and we were seated quickly. My friends love having bubbly to start. We were seated at a table for 4 with a chair at the end. A bit disappointing since our reservation was for 5pm and it wasn't busy. I took the end since my friends are couple. Noticed that the table was set for 4. Not silverware or water glass for me. Our server was very friendly. Actually the whole staff we interacted with were friendly. We got drink refills on a timely manner. Our food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. The kitchen missed adding avocado to one dish and my mushroom were missed but our server was new so we take that in stride. We're all learning. This was our second time at Joey Kelowna. I have another reservation for next week. So all in all it was a good experience.

   Again another amazing meal at joeys. We keep coming back for more. Everything is so delicious. My go to is the lettuce wraps but I also love their grilled chicken burger, beef burger, salmon and the steak. I have never had a meal I wasn’t happy with here. Service seemed a little off their game tonight, normally it’s a lot better but the staff could have just been having an off night. Not everyday can be perfect. Definitely wasn’t bad service. Can’t wait to come back! Probably in a week or two.

   Had to have my steak redone for my steak frites. The plate came super hot (the salad was hot!) but the steak was barely lukewarm, so cool that the compound butter on top just sat there. They did remake my steak and I ate it, but by the time the steak came my family had basically finished eating.
