I was disappointed. I lived in Des Moines a long time ago and used to go to Johnny’s Vet Club and then Johnny’s Steakhouse so thought it would be comparable. I really was looking forward to it. We received our salad and after a few bites, the entree arrived. Still the wine had not made it. Finally, the wine arrived. First time we have not had wine opened at the table. We ordered tiramisu and not our favorite..very dry. Liked the ambiance and the waitress was nice but for $192, hmmm. Felt very rushed and it was not busy at all. It was Sunday at 4:30.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server arrived and took our drink order. The appetizers were well paced and very good: spinach dip and calamari. we ordered four entrees - one for each of us. We had risotto, beef Wellington, Steak Diane, and pasta with seafood. All of us enjoyed our entrees. We will return to this restaurant.

The food was great. Our 2nd time there and will probably return again. The food was great and very affordable. Our meal for a party of two was under $100 which included steaks a drink and tip. Our waitress was extremely busy So not as attentive as she could have been , but very polite and apologetic.

We celebrated Father's Day at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. This was my FIL & MIL first time at Johnny's. They loved everything from the ambiance to the food and the drinks. We had a lovely time celebrating not only my husband, but also my FIL. The food was outstanding, the drinks were delicious & we had excellent conversation. My FIL felt so special. I think it was the individual care our waitress gave him too. Thanks Johnny's for a great evening. We will be back.

I have been here many times for being a steakhouse the food is very inconsistent and 50% of the time I have to send back my steak for not being cooked properly . Last nights experience was not enjoyable, food wasn’t great and we had a lot of service issues. When I spoke with the manager she was very loud and gave me a lot of excuse’s in stead of just saying I am sorry and being understanding to my concerns .

Went for our wedding anniversary expecting a special meal. We mentioned it was our anniversary when we made the reservation. No acknowledgement of the occasion on check in. We were seated right next to a curtain which turned out to be separating the hotel lobby. Noise from the lobby and the rather loud Italian-ish music made the noise level was high. Booths were comfortable. Liked being away from other diners. Service was rushed. Really rushed. Like we were asked for an appetizers order before we even had time to look at the menu and order a drink. They definitely wanted to turn a table. We had a bruschetta starter that was a couple of thin grilled slices of Italian bread with a smear of goat cheese and some chopped tomatoes and onions on top. It was okay. Soggy bread. Needed salt. We ordered steaks with special sides (sage mushrooms and a nicer salad). Steaks were pretty good and done to order. Hubby liked the cream sauce. Baked potato burned to a crisp on the bottom -inside was not edible. The house salad was fresh and came with balsamic that we used with the bread instead of the sticky bottle of olive oil and very old cheese in a dirty container with a commonly used spoon sitting out on the table that the waitstaff told us was for the bread. Our entree plates were swept away as soon as our forks hit the table. The dessert tray came out one minute after our entree plates were removed. Before dessert was on the table, our check was handed to us and when I moved the check to the other side of the table the server pounced on it thinking I’d put my credit card in it. BTW, this was a 6:30 pm reservation so no excuse. So rushed. Desserts not great. Chocolate mousse cake -cake on the bottom was dry. The turtle cheesecake was identical to Costco. Drinks were fine. Whole meal was one cocktail each, split app, entree each, dessert each, one wine, one bottled water with tip $180. Out of there in 45 minutes. Not worth it. Nothing special.

I ordered my usual…. Yes,again, and was pleased…. Yes, Again!!! (Medallion Trio with Alfredo pasta and broccolini) Hubby tried something new and may have found a new fav. (Steak Diane with extra side of mushrooms) and Birthday girl got the always yummy prime rib. Service is always very good, the food is tasty, and we are very much looking forward to lunch being offered again soon. Happy hour is a great way to tour the appetizers and enjoy just relaxing in a fun environment.

My Wife and I think it it is one of if not the best fine dinning in Thornton. To bad they are attached to a Hilton Garden Inn that appears to be going down hill. Don't wonder through the black Curtains and you will have very enjoyable evening with very good food and excellent services.

Great service and ambiance. Family members with me had steak which they reported as excellent. My salmon was a bit over done and fairly bland. I was expecting a little more given it was cooked with apricot butter. In fairness, I was not asked how I wanted my salmon cooked and didn’t request a certain temperature. Meatball appetizer was fantastic! Wine was a good value and good pour size too! We would go back for sure!

Mother’s Day brunch was not planned out very well. Lines to the lobby!

I would have to rate this as a horrible experience based on the quality of the food overall. The prime rib was excellent but everything else was either over cooked or simply cold. If I base the experience of the quality of food to price then it was a bad. My wife (who rarely complains) even commented that the food was not great and the mimosa's were not great. I will never attend a brunch here again and I question whether I want to go back for dinner ever again. Overall a bad experience to never be repeated.

We went for Mother's Day brunch. Moms received a complimentary mimosa flight, which was nice although the pours were small. There was a crepe bar that was lovely but the food selection was odd... some salads and finger foods and some breakfast standards, then 2 kinds of pasta (using same noodles), a chicken dish, chicken tenders, corn dogs, and prime rib. Random selection with only ONE vegetable dish - very carb heavy and basic.
