   All of the appetizers: meatballs, brussels sprouts and focaccia bread, were very good. all the pasta dishes that our table ordered were very tasty as well. one person ordered the chicken dish and his took quite a bit more time to come out then the others- that would be about the only problem that we had. the service was good our waitress was very nice and the restaurant was willing to work with us since our number of people in the party kept changing.

   We had a lovely meal at Josephine Estelle. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The pace of service was perfect for people who wanted to enjoy a good meal and conversation. Would definitely eat there again!

   JE was so nice - at the last minute allowed us to increase my party size. They made my son's 19th birthday very special! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and skilled! Highly recommend!

   The food was cold and our drinks took so long to make that it wasn’t even worth having them when halfway through our meal. Bartender also had to remake my drink because it was wrong. Very expensive meal for sub par food and service.

   Felt unwelcome upon arrival. Told we couldn’t order cocktails at all (even though they have a lengthy cocktail list) although the bartender was actively making cocktails for other tables near by. They were out of the pasta we ordered so received a subpar replacement and overall felt as though we were being rushed out. Wouldn’t return

    The menu is interesting tho we had to google several items to know what it is. Brussel sprouts dish was my favorite. Chicken was good and also the fish. Valet is to pricey ($20)when across the street is $12.

    The pastas were just fair except the rigatoni with meatsauce which was great. The brussels were too salty and the burrata was just ok. The place is really nice. Coffee not good and the service fair. The charc app and chopped salad was great. Peanut butter desert was amazing. I would prob not get pastas if I go back.

    The food was excellent but the dishes were not well-represented by their names on the menu. My husband was not expecting meat sauce in his pasta. When served our dinners we asked for bread. An order of focaccia came out with burrata for $$. It was delicious but we had to wait and finished our meals way before arrival. We ordered wine. My pour was significantly smaller than the others. I wouldn’t have served that to a guest. Most likely the bottom of the bottle. Was not tasty either. We asked for time between courses but the waiter kept coming for dessert orders. I would definitely return. But I would ask more questions about the dishes and coordinate bread service better next time.

    Terrible service! First we were told they are only taking reservations. Then we sat at the bar and the bartender said she was very much behind and could not serve us. I then made a reservation and got seated. The rest is history as everything else was beyond terrible service.

    Great place for a date. Energetic but quiet which I really appreciated. The Amatriciana pasta was incredible. The wine was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend it.

    We got seated at our table and we had a drink with us and put it on the table and a server came and knocked it over. They didn’t apologize or anything. Then the waitress came, and she treated us like we were trash and we were enemies of hers and we were a hassle. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. She was really mean to us and rude. Now I understand why they have really bad reviews never coming back. The food was OK but nothing would make me come back for the service that we had.

    The shockingly poor service was at level that I have never experienced in decades of frequent dining out. Our table honestly thought we were on a hidden camera show. I dined there multiple times prior to the pandemic and enjoyed it, I do not think I could return after yesterday's experience. Front of house hospitality have really ruined what could be an otherwise great place in a city of amazing options. The restaurant's space and ambiance is delightful. The food meets expectations. The staff however is a completely different story. The wait staff appeared to be extremely inexperienced, untrained, and frankly hostile. The bar service was painfully slow and inattentive (except to co-workers for chats among themselves). I fully acknowledge challenges to hospitality post pandemic, but this was far beyond covid or "monday night" excuses. If you are visiting New Orleans, please avoid or at a minimum be warned that this is not a typical representation of New Orleans hospitality.

    We had arrived to a seemingly empty and properly staffed restaurant. We were seated quickly and our food and drink orders were taken right away. We then had to wait 15-20 minutes for two coffees and a juice and after waiting 45 minutes the kitchen staff came to the table and said they were out of ingredients for 1 of the breakfasts and we’d have to reorder that breakfast. We were a little confused as to why they had taken so long to provide us with an update. At this point tables that had arrived after us had gotten their food. Finally a little over an hour waiting our 4 country breakfast and parfait arrived to the table. Each country breakfast was slightly different even tho we had all ordered them the same way, some had heaping mounds of hash browns and some had next to none, some had little pieces baked into the hash browns for extra seasoning and some were plain. Also 2 of the biscuits came out buttered and then two were not. One of the plates had a half used butter dish on it and when asking the server about this they said they were busy and figured the last two people could finish buttering there own biscuit. The food itself was very delicious and portions were fair enough. However when the check came they had charged us for the initial breakfast we ordered but never got because they ran out of ingredients, which was more expensive then the country breakfast by a couple dollars. We let the waitress know and she said she’d have to get a manager to fix it and it may be a while. So after being there for an hour and a half we just paid and left to be done with the place. Everyone has a different busy, There were about 5 other tables and we saw about 6 wait staff. We were our waitresses only table because it was earlier in the morning. Having this amount of customers unfortunately seem extremely overwhelming to the wait staff and kitchen staff, I would only recommend coming here if you want to be eating breakfast for several hours or have time to kill.

    The food was delicious and the servers were very nice space is beautiful. The prices were a little bit high, but that’s because we just went there for dinner on a random evening. I think planning to go there for a special occasion would make the price tag more reasonable.

    The general manager cares so much about her clientele. The wait staff is having fun, working hard, and showing thoughtfulness. This is now a must-stop place when we visit New Orleans again.

    Food, service, room were excellent. Volume of music was too high, mostly coming from a source near the Ace Hotel entrance. I would have liked soothing classical music for a quiet dinner with a friend. It would fit the food and the space better. Why do so many restaurants want to energize the atmosphere with booming music?

    Disappointing meal, overall. Food was lackluster— inconsistent. Boring pesto pasta. Over salted black pasta with clams. Focaccia was awful. Not worth the money and not worth returning for another try.
