My husband and I enjoyed the sangria and enjoyed many tapas plates prepared beautifully. We ended with two desserts I had the cheesecake and my husband had the crème brûlée. I would highly recommend Jottum

We were a large group. Dennis, the host, handed us incredibly well. Talked us through the tapas menu and kept us served with great food throughout the night. Restaurant always busy but didn’t impact service. Very friendly and welcoming. Some vegetarian options. Great fish and meat dishes. Doesn’t take Amex. Would definitely revisit and would recommend again.

Here is a perfect example of when not to trust Trip Adviser ratings. This restaurant came up as 5 stars from all raters. The food was not horrible but it was not great - and certainly nowhere near 5 star. Was also not appealing to see a cat walking about inside the restaurant. Ok in a pinch but not on par with restaurants in Jordaan

Absolute wonderful meal from start to finish Everything we tried on the menu was tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff are brilliantly charming and sweet. And the price was incredibly reasonable. Would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again.

My partner and I had the most delicious food here on my birthday. Every dish was amazing, the waiters were lovely and the restaurant is intimate, warm and welcoming. We sat out on the street which was perfect. The restaurant was very busy but we received our food quickly. It was honestly the nicest food we had on our trip to Amsterdam and we will definitely be returning with friends.

The best meal that we had in Amsterdam! The small tapas burger was possibly the best burger that I have ever had. Also, the chocolate tart was a rich, dark chocolate-lover’s dream…accompanied by a semi-tart raspberry sorbet that was the perfect complement. Our waiter and the service were also outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Very warm and courteous service, homemade food, and fun neighborhood location. Our group of 6 sampled about half of the menu and everything was delicious. Cold sangria refreshed after a long day of walking.

As it was unexpectedly hot, most diners were seated either on the pavement outside or next to the windows. I was please to find that the round table I had requested was indeed ours, in the centre of the room and effectively the only table in an 'interior' situation. The air-conditioning made it very pleasant and we felt like the only guests. We asked our host to bring us a selection of the varied 'tapas' style plates and this worked well, as small plates in groups of 4 or 5 came at suitable intervals. Our conversation continued for 3 hours around the food, beer and eventually a house special alcoholic dessert. A successful and very enjoyable evening.

The most accommodating place! I called a week out for an 18 person reservation, and they made it happen! I told the waitress what we were interested and she helped order the proper amount for the table. All in all, for a huge meal, ended up being surprisingly reasonable price per person. Food was great, and I’d recommend!
