   Excellent service from the staff. Food was tasty. We were on the walkway so we couldn’t really hear the music. We had the set menu with no additions. Hubby enjoyed his cocktail, mine was supposed to be a cosmopolitan but wasn’t really one. I still enjoyed it. Our server, Luke, was super. He seemed to always be aware of our needs without being intrusive.

   This is always a “must stop” restaurant for us. VERY expensive but incredible ocean view, food quality and service. If you want a special night out and you are not concerned about price, this is the place. But make sure you call for a reservation. Tough to just walk into.

   Food was not as good as it was before covid. Kale in the salad was in big chunks. Squash was hard with skin still on it. No flavor in dressing. Entrees came out luke warm. Drinks were nothing special. Could get the same in a sports bar. Waiter never once asked how our food was. Would not go back again.

   The table by the seaside is amazing! If you plan to go there, please check the sunset time and you can see a very beautiful view. The foods are ok but not super. It is a good choice if you are looking for a romantic dinner！

   Overpriced for food quality. Oyster appetizers were excellent but expensive. Server was excellent very personable & made us feel special. Reserve outdoor seating for fixed price menu but if those seats are reserved by a certain time they should seat ala cart menu reservations on porch. Great location just not utilized as well as it could be. With prices I’d have a difficult time recommending to most friends.

   The talked us into the prefixe dinner outside and there was zero difference in options. When we added it up after it would have been $150 cheaper ordering it separately. I felt ripped off and was very disappointed. Over priced under value

    This was our 2nd time back to KPC. The hotel was a zoo trying to get in/out of the valet/drop off area. The restaurant service was a bit slow, but the food & drinks were tasty. Of course, a beautiful sunset was the star of the dinner as were the whale with her calf breaching. The hostess was not very charming; perhaps she was having an "off day."

    Amazing views. Wonderful change of pace to the other very busy and very crowded restaurants on the property. The service was wonderful and food was delicious.

    Seating was by the ocean and beautiful EXCEPT that the front row tables with the best view were on a heavily trafficked sidewalk! Our main course arrived after 1.5 hours! The whole experience was overpriced. It doesn't hold a candle to Brown's or the Canoe House, yet costs more!

    We were excited to eat here again after being here 6 years ago. The menu has changed to a 3 course meal if you want to eat outside. We decided to try it even with the higher priced menu. Our server was not attentive to us at all; in fact, we only saw her a few times. We had asked for more butter which was never delivered, a staff clearing tables delivered the dessert menu, so we had no recommendations like other guests near us with a different waiter. Our main course, the fresh caught fish was so over cooked I had to ask for more sauce and even then it didn’t help. I would expect that from a restaurant selling fish for $20, but not a $65 main course meal. It was very disappointing and not worth the money when you can get sunset views at a lot of other restaurants.

    Incredible experience eating outdoors watching the beautiful Hawaiian sunset. It was my son’s 12th birthday and the staff made him feel very special. Terrific food, service, and amazing views.

    From the moment we entered we were greeted with warm aloha. We were seated on time for our reservation. Our seating was absolutely breathtaking and listening to the ocean was magical. Our server was on it!! His timing was great. Food was delicious. We highly recommend KPC.

    Setting for two outdoors was amazing. Nothing between you and the ocean sunset but a table and low flowered hedge. Server Brian was friendly, informative and attentive. Food was prepared expertly and delicious. Overall incredible dining experience.

    We had the fixed price, 3 course meal on the beach. Wildly overpriced, even compared to other options on the island. For that price I’d expect the food to be perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was not, it was just ok. First, the good part: The service was excellent, our server was charming and perfectly attentive, as were the other folks bringing the dishes and water. Appetizer: The oysters Rockefeller were the star of the meal, (and $20 extra) but too salty. The hollandaise on them was very good though, rich yet light and silky. The spinach had a nice, slight char to it. Entree 1: The scallops were perfectly cooked, but the glaze of the pork belly was one dimensional and the piece I had only had 1/4 meat, the rest was fat (where it should gave been 1/2 fat, 1/2 meat). Entree 2: The kompachi was a bit dry. The desserts were ok. At similarly priced restaurants elsewhere we had desserts with various textures and robust flavors. These were simple and ok.

    What a restaurant. The food was outstanding and the portions were generous. The views were amazing. The service had a relaxed, laid-back approach. The wine list was excellent with great options for pairing.

    We really enjoyed the food here! We read reviews that the food was mediocre, we felt it was all delicious! We had the Ahi tuna app, gosh catch of the day, and the sea scallops. All very tasty. We couldn’t sit outside due to weather/rain, but could tell the view would be Amazing!!

    I wanted it to be really good but it was pricey and the chicken was super salty. Service was wonderful so no issues there but for $300 for 2 people, I’d have gone elsewhere

    Our expectations were high for this dinner and I can honestly say besides the view (which was stunning!) every thing else was a disappointment. I booked this because we are HGVC members and we were celebrating my mother being done with treatment for breast cancer. Which I had put on the reservation. Our waiter couldn't have cared less about us. I don't know if he was having a day or what, but he barely said anything to us. Didn't recommend anything, we had to ask about the fish of the day and he never came back to check on us. The individual who was filling water and clearing plates was more pleasant and on top of things. The food was the true letdown. There was nothing special about it. The best part was the bread basket. We ordered a side of Asparagus and it didn't come out with our food. We had to ask the waiter for it and it came to our table after we had all finished our food. Thankfully, he took that off our bill. Overall it was a disappointment and truly not worth the money. If we are paying for the view, which again is beautiful, I wouldn't have booked it.

    Made reservations for combined birthday celebrations. Dress code is resort casual. We were seated promptly, and served in a timely manner. All the staff were friendly, and greeted us throughout our visit. Dined inside with the Ala carte option. Great selections. I had the hamachi special, and my wife had the scallops with pork. Both were delicious. For appetizers we tried the hamachi dish and the mushrooms. The appetizers were good, the mushrooms were a generous helping which we couldn’t finish. The price is on the higher side as expected for a top resort, but overall, an outstanding experience.

    Fish of the day cooked Hawaiian style was very good. Must be luck of the draw…or unluck, but our service was disappointing. That tainted the experience for me and I will not return. The sunset was lovely.

    Had an amazing dinner, celebrating birthdays. Great cocktails. The freshly baked bread was served with infused honey butter. We ordered an appetizer, Shrimp cocktail, all of the entrées were cooked to perfection. Thank you, excellent service!

    We had a fantastic experience ! I went with with my daughter and friend, and the whole experience was a 5 star day. We went during sunset, and the ocean view was perfect. The food, view, and service was fabulous as well. Recommend everyone to go with their friends for a fancy, beautiful, and even romantic evening.

    We had a wonderful sunset dinner, chose indoor seating due to the high wind but still enjoyed the sky and ocean view. The Kampachi appetizer was just exceptional. The filet was more medium than ordered medium rare. The seafood boil was wonderful.
