    I prefer to do my business lunch at W Kitchen because - 1. It provides a delightful environment 2. The staff is always ready to help 3. A very wide range of food choices. I keep on visiting this place every now and then.

    Was there for a business lunch meeting and was sat during the Buffett lunch next to a table with young toddlers so was a little noisy and hectic, probably should have chosen a different place for Ala carte lunch. Also one of our main course orders were forgotten by the chef so one of us was left without our lunch until later on. Would not come again for a business casual lunch, unless here for the lunch Buffett.

    I usually went to Grand Hyatt. When compare with Hyatt , the kitchen is like a wet market. The food and services may impress Mainland tourists, but not guests with different exposure. Horrible toilet though I saw the the cleaning staff was working hard.

    The perfect brunch. We got the package with free flow veuve champagne and couldn’t have had a lovelier time. The food selection was staggering and incredible quality. We had the miso mayonnaise grilled lobster, as well as fantastic fresh sushi and other seafood, a wonderful charcuterie selection with amazing cheeses, and the DESSERTS? Dizzying. A Hong Kong must do. I’ll be back.

    Having been to The Kitchen many times pre Covid it was our favourite champagne buffet. Unfortunately this was not the case recently after having returned to HK after 5 years away. The choice of food had dropped dramatically. Items ran out and were not replenished and very small range of cheeses for an example. Unfortunately service was not up to standard. Had to constantly ask for top ups or table water and the restaurant was by no means full. We will not be going back.

    The level of service went down dramatically. We had to repeatedly ask for basic things like refilling our drinks, to bring one more glass, etc. At one point server knocked over champagne glass and splashed one of the guests. After he cleaned up he just left leaving an empty champagne glass behind. We literally had to ask for the glass to be refilled. More than once. I was embarrassed as I brought 3 friends who were visiting from abroad. They were asking me in service in HK became awful or it was just your restaurant. I have been to W Brunches many times before but I do not think I will return again.

    Good variety of food for everyone, and lots of tempting dessert including Häagen-Dazs. Staffs were very attentive and friendly, and frequently checking for refill of our free-flow wine :) We enjoyed until the end of lunch service. Will go back again!

    The service was good at the Kitchen. Staff members were so friendly and they cleaned up everything very quickly. Unfortunately I think Kitchen has to pay attention to seafood supply. I could only have a few oysters. I was unable to have any lobsters. Every time I approached the seafood section, the manager (I guess) told me to wait for a few minutes. But when I returned, all gone again ...

    I was brought to my preferred window seat seamlessly despite having a good crowd on a weekday. I like the view of the restaurant but I'm not thrilled with the food unless you are a seafood lover. I do believe the executive chef can be more innovative by infusing more uniquely local Hong Kong hot dishes. The relocation of the dim sum station was a good idea for better workflow. The layout of the buffet spread can further improve to avoid bottlenecks when the outlet is running at peak capacity. I noticed only one chef left to man the whole kitchen at about 1.50 pm. I wanted to order a bowl of laksa but changed my mind as the chef was standing at the other side of the kitchen occupied with other customers.

    As it was a weekday, the buffet restaurant was not crowded so the frontline staff was able to offer me a quiet table. The frontline staff including the manager were attentive & professional. I was disappointed with the hot dishes as it was served lukewarm. The roast beef and roast duck were not up to standard. The Japanese sashimi section was totally emptied, as the chef was still cutting the fish as customers were rolling into the buffet station. The "coffee & tea" station needs to relocate. As it is located beside the cashier, soiled dishes collection point, and near the walkway, I find it awkward to stand and wait for the coffee machine to dispense my latte. Yes, as I was waiting for my coffee, the frontline staff had to ask me to stand aside as she had to open the drawer to get a tea bag. Maybe the management can review the buffet operating workflow and layout in the interest of customer experience

    This is the second time that I have patronized this buffet restaurant. Luckily, I asked for a table beside the window and away from the staff working area. The hot food dishes are boring and did not replenish properly. The pastry section is not as appetizing as other buffet restaurants of the same class. The F&B manager was not around to inspect and monitor the food spread, food quality, and operations. Lastly, all serving staff including the manager do not wear name tags. I though this is a basic standard for a 5 star hotel.

    too noisy for my liking. food quality was good but limited variety. cannot buy drinks individually, only free flow package was available which was not good for causal drinkers.

    If you are looking for a 5 star dining experience, please avoid W hotel. My wife and I booked in advance for 2 pax at the Kitchen for 25 Nov 2022 (weekday). When we arrived at about 12.10pm, we were ushered to the main dining hall that was located near the main walkway. My wife asked the service staff whether we could sit beside the window but was told that it was fully booked in advance by other customers. The buffet restaurant was only 10% full. When I later asked the service staff to change to another table, I was told to wait as they had to check with the front desk first before making the change. To me, this is the first time especially when the buffet restaurant was not running a full house. About 4 minutes later, we were assigned to another table that was located beside the service staff working area. The gap between my chair and the one behind me is about 60cm. (Pls see the photos). While having my meal, I had to endure the unpleasant experience when the service staff walked between the 2 chairs and accidentally brushed against my chair several times. Yes, I again asked for a table change. The reply again was standard and was told that they had to check with the front desk. About 4 minutes later, the service staff then came back to inform us to change to another table. I rejected their offer as we felt they were not interested in resolving our concerns. The buffet restaurant was empty when we were ushered in. All sections had many empty tables, so it was easy for the service staff to assign the table without delays. Even after being ushered to another table, we could see many empty tables with no reserved signs. As for the lunch buffet spread and quality, my rating is just average.

    The Brunch at Kitchen is one of those places that you look forward to visiting. It was a great day, especially as we were there with friends. The service wasn't up to par, the food makes it all great. Can't wait to return.

    A must do Brunch in Hong Kong, great service, great free flow champagne, and a great place to meet up with friends! The view is nice of the water, but the commercial barges can sometimes ruin it.

    Generally good service but except one lazy waitress who had a RBF and didn't utter one word even when u said thank you to her though she perked up and happily bantered with her colleagues whenever they came over to the cutlery station where she basically hiding in the 1.5 hours we dined there.

    We love W Hong Kong Kitchen because of their fantastic "Côte de boeuf au jus" which is quite hard to find in Hong Kong. I also love the opera cake, one of my favorite! The service is just irreproachable and personalized. They appreciate comments and really want to improve and be the best in Hong Kong. We can feel this. We love the free flow wine or sparkling wine at the buffet and deserts are just amazing and worth a try even if you are on a diet. Thank you for your good quality food and service.
