   This was our first trip to Maui/Hawaii. My boyfriend & I read such amazing reviews of the Ko restaurant that we absolutely had to try it...and we are so happy that we did! The food, the atmosphere and the service was wonderful! We also stayed at the Fairmont during our trip and what a terrific experience it was!     Our table was right next to the bar so it was very noisy. The waitress was nice but not very attentive. Instead of putting our bottle of wine in a side stand it went in the middle of the table blocking my view of my friend across the table. The tempura lavender shrimp was perfect. My supposed Wagu beef was tough and had tendons running throughout.

    The staff was friendly. The food was just ok. I would not eat there again. 4 people in our party and no one finished there meal because it just wasn’t that great. Very pricey too, after tip was over $600.

    The food was delicious. My husband had the fresh catch which was Seabass. I had the lobster tempura. We began the meal with a salad. Everything was delicious. The staff was wonderful as well.

    Second trip to Ko in the same week. The menu was so great that we wanted to try additional dishes. I could eat the Honey Lavender Coconut Shrimp every day for a month and still want more. The sushi roll was a foodie experience. The staff excel at providing great recommendations to the menu and the local region, making every Ko dining experience a memorable occasion. I wish that I lived closer to visit Ko as a regular.

    $33 for a spicy tuna roll that was just ok. The mahi dinner special fell flat — the fish was fresh and good, but the rest of the dish lacked in flavor and presentation. I would not recommend this restaurant because the prices do not reflect the value received.

    Vacation. The restaurant was stunning and service very good. However the food was sub par. While ingredients were local and fresh, the dishes were poorly executed. The pork belly buns, should not have been served. The buns were like hockey pucks, hard and inedible . The pork was sou vide to the point if dryness. The chicken wings were under cooked and no flavor. Fish special was a muddle of fresh ingredients, not coming together to anything tastey. Pork chop wqs decent. Waitress was oblivious to how underwhelmed were were and not finishing the dishes.

    We always have excellent food and service at Ko. It’s why it’s one of the places we make a point of dining at when we visit Maui. Consistently excellent food with interesting flavors. The fresh catch has a couple options for how it’s prepared. I’d you haven’t tried Lumpia, here is your chance. I love the freshness of the salad, and the curry coconut soup was excellent. Make reservations during high season, and enjoy!

    We attended KO on the recommendation of some people we met at another restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food and atmosphere were excellent. But it was our service by Leanne and Randy that made the evening unforgettable. Leannes personality, attention to detail and overall enthusiasm were spectacular.     Oh my gosh…….this restaurant is so good! We have been here three times now and still great every time. We ordered the Seafood Laulau and it was delicious and so fresh. The only downside was the table we were given…… right where everyone walks past you. Other than that, it was great.

    We were running a bit late, but they were accommodating and still gave us the romantic spot we requested. The staff was dynamite. They didn’t let our glasses get beyond half empty before they refilled them. My wife order the octopus and I ordered the lobster tempura. The waitress, Kristen, was very knowledgeable and helped me decide what to get because everything sounded so good. And boy was I glad I got the lobster. That lobster was unequivocally the best lobster I’ve ever had…even one of the meals I’ve ever had period. My wife also loved the lobster, and she’s pregnant, so that’s saying something. It’s not an inexpensive meal, but I’d eat it all over again in a heartbeat. Don’t miss this one.
