Close to Alexandra Park and Highgate Woods, Muswell Hill is a mainly Edwardian north London suburb. Muswell Hill Broadway and Fortis Green Road, the main shopping streets, still maintain their historic character with most of the original facades preserved above street level.

I loved the meze that they do. Lots of variety and cooked to a high standard. A good variety and the portions were very good. Price for what we had was reasonable.

Simple cold meze starter was ok, plenty for 2 Main was underwhelming compared with the menu description. Strangely served on cold metal skillets in wooden tray usually used when the food is cooked in them. Again good portion sizes.

There's nothing wrong with La'De Kitchen, but there's also nothing that jumps out as fabulous. It's basically Turkish with a European twist — goats cheese mixed with butter, for instance, with warm flatbread as a pre-starter The borek was a little oily and lacked finesse and vine leaves were OK, but a bit bland. Mains were better. The lamb shish fillet was succulent and cooked to perfection — but at £20+ you'd expect it to be. It's quiet, so a good spot to catch up for a chat — but doesn't really make it in terms of value for money.

Booked a birthday meal that latest Covid-19 issues announced so suspect this is why it was quiet & restaurant checked we were still coming. Place was great but quiet as I say suspect there had been some cancellations (we lost one) - staff were attentive, food was great - a real variety to chose from & everything we had was great & to top it off it was two for one on cocktails so that was great. Definitely recommended & I will return

First of all do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Muswell Hill. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in London. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, the food was excellent (specially the grilled chicken - very tasty & moist, done to perfection). The good portions were large, and cool plate servings. The waitress was excellent, friendly and helpful. Overall a really nice experience, totally recommend it!!
