We were in SF for the day to see an exhibition at the DeYoung Museum, and decided to have dinner at LaLe, based on on-line reviews. It was a very good experience. The food was excellent: two of us shared a small mezzo platter and a lamb burger. We ate outside, which was noisy at times (because of the passing trolleys), but we enjoyed being in the middle of a bustling area. Service was good. We will definitely go back and will order exactly what we ordered the first time. The only down side is the difficulty finding parking.

a lovely restaurant, rather heavy on lamb, which might be understandable, since this is a Turkish restaurant. the menu was a little tight; not much to choose from, BUT, what we ate was delicious and well constructed. I LIKED THIS RESTAURANT and will come back for more. the Turkish white wine was crisp, dry and delicious.

My son and I had a wonderful meal. We tried several of the small plates. The muhammara (with roasted red peppers and finely chopped walnuts) was especially tasty. His salmon main course was also excellent. We enjoyed a Turkish wine for the first time -- a very light-bodied but finely flavored red wine. The server was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely new restaurant serving Turkish and Mediterranean food. We enjoyed the minty mushrooms and a butternut squash and brussel sprouts dish. For the entree we shared lamb and eggplant dishes. The service was impeccable! Highly recommend LaLe.

This was a great food experience. Enjoyed the apps: pita bread hummus watermelon salad potatoes (needed to be hotter, but still ate everything on the plate late) all were excellent, nothing left about on the plate. The ambiance was not rated 5 stars because of the Covid ventilation requirements…sparse seating and on the cool side. We would have eaten outside, but they don’t have heating lamps. Our server was excellent and helpful. My husband and I are looking forward to returning for dinner as well as for brunch. Overall, I give it 4+++ and will bring friends next time. Thank you

We went here for dinner on a recommendation from friends who go here regularly for brunch. On this Wednesday night the restaurant was pretty empty of patrons, but the take out orders were steady. We were nervous because the restaurants we'd passed along the way to get here were bustling. Our friend has never steered us wrong though, so we were really glad we stayed. The service was gracious and attentive. The environment was comfortable and well cared for, and the food was simply outstanding. My son's wrap was hearty and flavorful. My husband's fattoush salad was the best he's ever had. We all loved the hummus and halloumi starters. And my lamb shank was incredibly tender and scrumptious. It was a fabulous dinner and evening.

From light bites to entrees, this is reasonably priced American & Turkish comfort food offering something for all (kids included). What a wonderful restaurant! We stumbled upon it while visiting the Sunset District. The service was attentive, and the decor was sleek and clean. The food was amazing...I’d recommend the appetizer sampler. The red pepper hummus was the best I’ve ever had. It was evident a lot of work was put into the food to create such a depth of flavors. The portions were more than generous as well.

I used to live in Turkey and am very familiar with the cuisine. The food was okay but I wish there had been some fish other than prawns, which in San Francisco are always frozen, never fresh, and therefore don't taste that good. I had a chicken dish which was very good. However, there is so much good Turkish music and I was very, very disappointed to hear Dean Martin singing "That's Amore". Even though this restaurant has been open for around two years, I got the feeling that the staff didn't have its act together. For instance, the appetizers and entrees were brought together and the waitress more or less apologized saying the kitchen must have been busy yet, at the time, there were only about six people in the restaurant.

La Le was an unexpected find for us, as I wanted a restaurant near to soccer fields near the beach. It isn’t-it’s in the inner sunset, and there were virtually no customers there, which gave us pause. But it turned out great for our table of 8, including 3 kids. The sampler plate of appetizers was great ( the waiter said that’s what he would order for his mother if she came), as were the lamb chops, stuffed eggplant, and a vegetarian plate. The prices were very reasonable, and the waiter was very attentive and helpful. Overall, all of us thought it was very good.
