    I had dinner here with an out-of-town friend and her adult children, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the Margaritas, food, and sitting out on the lovely patio on a beautiful summer Saturday. The pork tacos were amazing! I look forward to revisiting Laredo with other friends and family members.

    Solid spot for some good Tex-Mex cuisine. Usually can get a seat on their outdoor patio in nice weather but, the inside is very charming and spacious if need be. Our food was great! I've been here before and decide to go a little against the norm and ordered the Salmon Mexicano, which was a medium cooked salmon topped with shrimp, scallops, and creamy sauce served with a side of white rice, black beans, and vegetables. Highly recommend! The only disappointment was that though we were seated right away, it took 10 minutes before someone came over to take our drink or food order. I am not sure if it was because we were one of two tables seated in the back room but, my family and I felt a bit forgotten and almost got up to leave just before our server finally arrived.

    Greatly drinks, good food, and friendly service. It's literally across the street from a metro stop which is very convenient. I will be back.

    The food was only OK. The guac was sub-standard (we didn't get tableside). My kids loved the chimichangas but my tostada was stale and completely unimaginative on the inside. It was nice to sit out on a beautiful DC evening, but I'm not rushing back. There are other better Tex-Mex places in DC.

    Horrendously overpriced - went for a casual Mexican dinner (I got a set of three hard shell tacos and the other person got a combination of 3 plates ) and ended up paying $100. So so overpriced for such average Mexican food. Was a huge disappointment - save your money and skip it!

    Value sized entrees with friendly service. The flan is practically bite-sized and pricey at $4.99 a pop. Kid-friendly. Overall it's good, and I'd return.

    Laredo was unable to seat my group until 45 minutes after our reservation time. And then the server forgot to place our order with the kitchen so we had to wait more than an hour after being seated to eat. The food was good, as always, but the service experience was just miserable.

    Love this place! Just fun and festive! Great food, great drinks, polite servers! Since leaving the DC Metro area, this has been one restaurant we have certainly missed and make it a point to dine here on our return visits to DC.

    This is a legit Mexican restaurant, with dishes priced reasonably and the feeling of a successful mom and pop venture. Enjoyed the pitcher of margaritas and the made at the table guacamole.

    We were looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion last night and thought of Alero's, where we had a lovely dinner in nice patio. We have now had two very tasty dinners there, including great guacamole, delicious fried plantains, a tasty mole sauce, and a truly noteworthy, juicy, tender pork dish -- an unexpected surprise that that waiter recommended. I guess maybe if I were just rating the food, I'd give them five stars, but they earned a extra one with excellent service. Our waiter was cheerful and friendly and treated us like special guests, though we were just another pair of diners. All around, it was a positive experience, and we'll go back again.

    We were fans of Alero, and experienced deep disappointment in Laredo. The restaurant has adopted Alero's menu but had no idea how to handle a Sunday evening'. We waited a great deal of time to get silverware, to get our drinks and to get our food. The hostess who graciously seated us was nowhere to be found when I ventured into the restaurant from the outside seating area to inquire where was...anything. Until I see positive feedback somewhere from others visiting Laredo, I regret having no plan to return.

    I have the best time on my birthday, food was delicious, The owner was always coming to our table and she was making sure every thing was find, very friendly people. They even recommend the newes plate, it was delicious! Queso fundido and masitas de puerco I. Will recommend this restaurant. We even got a tequila and cake free for my birthday.
