Laurent at Café Royal
Laurent features an array of newly designed areas including booths and views of either elegant Regent Street or the grand hotel lobby with a spectacular Murano glass chandelier at the centre.
International influences are evident across the new menu where Laurent has combined his experiences to open a restaurant unlike anything he has done before. An open kitchen and grill offer the finest grilled meat and fish; whilst sushi masters prepare inventive sushi, sashimi and raw fish from the sushi bar.
The bar offers a wide selection of wines from both new and classic regions with a focus on the French 'regal regions', alongside cocktails and fine spirits.

Fantastic food, location and service.
What a wonderful evening all around.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The food, service and the ambiance was top notch. The set menu was lovely and an excellent value.
The staff, especially the Australian gentleman was so personable and connected well with us.
We will definitely be back!
Amazing food in a wonderful location!
Staff were perfect - attentive and welcoming but at the same time gave us space.
Between us we tried a lot of items from the menu and everything was wonderful, with the attention to detail and individual ingredient tastes and combinations just lovely.......
Excellent ambience - excellent food and great staff . A lovely evening a great place right in the perfect location .
THE staff Was really TOP !!!
Food excellent - choice excellent, wish I'd tried the sashimi but the cornish crab was great.
Wonderful dover sole - maybe just a tad overcooked.
Bar service was slow - I think becasue only one person at the bar doing cocktails as well.
Food was lovely and the service was exceptional. We took our 3 year old and the staff was fantastic with her
Best pre-theatre dinner I can remember. Excellent food and ambiance, and service was measured but assured we would get to the theatre on time. Strongly recommended. Sushi looked excellent too.
Having read reviews and spoken to other friends about Café Royal, I wasn't really sure what to expect. However, I was blown away by the opulent yet welcoming interior. The staff were friendly, yet professional and understood we were after a relaxing dinner. The food was absolutely 5* and good portioned for a restaurant of such calibre, a friend we dined with remarked that the sushi was "the best in her life". Would dine here again for sure.
Lovely environment, great value for money, wonderful service and quality food - a hidden gem in busy regent’s street
The experience was exactly as one would expect from such restaurants. Comfortable, comforting, welcome, pleasant, polite and relaxed but most attentive staff. Drinks were on top, wines definitely not overpriced. The food was something to come back for, as we are already planning.
Really wonderful meal and top notch service. I had to eat quickly to make it to the theatre on time, and the staff did absolutely everything to accommodate me. Will be back!
It was a very lovely experience and excellent atmosphere and ambience. Services for the waitresses are second to none!
A little hidden gem in the first floor of cafe royal. Restaurant is in two sections with one side overlooking the balcony to the front rotating doors and the other side overlooking Regent Street. Service was attentive and polite whilst being super efficient. The cheese Yorkshire pudding like bread was novel and was much enjoyed. My starter of Dorset crab salad was full of fleshy white crab meat and the garnishes were well suited to the crab. My blacken cod main was delicate and beautifully cooked with complementary purées. Dessert of cheese was good with caramelised hazelnuts and crisp bread with quince. Overall. A nice hidden gem amongst the bustle of the wet end.
Great hospitality as soon as we stepped into the hotel. Very attentive waiter and good services. The sushi is nice but could include more selection of raw fishes. Nice cocktail! Overall I would recommend to anyone!
Ottimo cibo! Elegantissimo ambiente! Tutti molti gentili e grazie al sommelier Roberto, ragazzo giovane ma molto professionale, delicato e bravissimo che ci ha consigliato un ottimo vino
Excellent service though the tables were a little close together. A bit noisy due to large group great food and wine.
Overall a good experience with some caveats. The entrance and surroundings are outstanding. The main room needs something to improve the atmosphere. Too stark. The food is either acceptable of very good, mostly the latter. Main dishes and desserts were superb. The sushi starter was bland. Service was very willing but quite untrained and not professional. Drinks choices are good but overpriced as is the food. Very small quantities leave one satisfied and ravenous at the same time. Lots of potential but input is required or it will not make it, evidenced by the almost empty restaurant on fathers day
Lovely food and good service in an historic building on Regent St with a view over the street on a summers evening hard to beat.
The ground floor Bubbles café is a good way to start and mid week the Ziggy Bar a great alternative with Bowie and friends photographs
Had the set menu and it was high quality, good size portions and great service.
Lovely Father’s Day lunch. Everything was exquisite. Service was top-notch. Fabulous ambience with appropriate light background music. Excellent cocktails. We will definitely return.
Great service, good food and value for money.
Delightful service by Antonella, brilliant food.
It was an extraordinary event! The service and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.
Delicious food, service was a bIt stiff... other then that It’s an amazing place
Beautiful venue. Food and service was impeccable. Worth every penny. Sushi made to order by experts. Just stunning in every way. Head waiter was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Peanut desert was superb.
Thank you team
We celebrated our anniversary here, and were given a great table overlooking Regent Street. The staff were friendly and attentive both front of house and our server. The a la carte menu is very expensive, but the set menu is great value - and the food was excellent. The wine selection is also pricey, so you'll need to choose carefully - but overall for the level of service, quality and presentation of the food, the ambience and location, I would highly recommend Laurent, especially for a celebration.
Very kind staff of the restaurant and bar also the sushiman. Dishes with care and great food! Will definitely come back again!
Great food. Great staff. I would recommend the sorbets. Really very good!
Nice restaurant, gorgeous interior
I loved the restaurant! The food was incredible and the service unparalleled. Special shout out for Lauren who made our evening even more special.
My current fave place
It’s a beautiful restaurant but food was a bit mediocre. We were seated next to the kitchen grill and it was unbearably warm. When I asked to move to another table we were told it was impossible, even though the restaurant was relatively empty.
This was a fun evening in a lovely venue. I loved that we were able to choose healthy and low calorie options. The meal was quite good and the dessert was unbelievably delicious. This is it... a drink, a light meal (if that is what you want as there is so much to choose from)- drink, dessert and tea. Perfect.
Business lunch for two. Standard international décor. Good display of whiskies. Intrusive background music. All of the sofa seating seemed to be on a seam. Uncomfortable. On first glance menu choice seemed to be between sushi or sashimi and burgers which seemed a bit odd. We settled on Japanese as a starter and two salads (one steak and one lobster). The protein part was pretty good but the actual salad a bit of a miss. £135 for two incl a small carafe of house white. Better offerings in the West End at this price point.
Se not time that we eat here, this place is just amazing, our fav restaurant in London
One of my favorite restaurants in London. I go here every time I am in London.
Very warm and attentive staff. we had a fab evening out!
Meal and service were good, although the wine list was pretty expensive
We went for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and we really liked it.
The waiter was very nice and professional. He was a tall boy with glasses and dark hair ☺️
