We had the most arrogant and rude server that we have ever experienced. We will not be returning. For the cost and mediocrity of the food, it’s not worth going to dinner at Laws just to have decent service from such an ignorant server.

It’s difficult to write this because we want to love this place so much. The owner is always awesome one of the long-term bartender/waiters. I believe his name is Nick is great and happy hours. Amazing if you sit at the bar so We keep coming back. We were very disappointed this time in the dinning room. Our server didn’t seem to be having a good night. She told us they were out of some of the things we wanted. we gave her our order and asked her recommendation on sides, which we ordered. Our steaks showed up (one of them way over cooked and not a filet) and we never got our sides and we asked about them a couple times when they finally showed up she said I’m so sorry. I’ll take care of these for you. Our steaks were already gone, and then we had undercooked sides, no truffle on the fries, we never got the horseradish we requested for our oysters, and we did get the brussels sprouts which she told us they didn’t have.. then all of the sides were on the one bill. We had asked for separate checks. We asked her to divide it and then it was all kind of a mess so we figured it out between us but overall it was a pretty disappointing experience for over $250!

Nick our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. However the filets were dry and chewy even though not overcooked. Presentation was on separate plates so kind of odd. It was the Monday after Father’s Day so not busy

The food was good and the service was great. My daughter and I both got the surf and turf. The steak was good, not great. The lobster was good, not great. My husband got the filet and I wish I had done the same. His cut was better. My green beans had a terrible fish flavor but it didn’t come from the lobster. For the price, this restaurant can do better.

The food was amazing and Nick was a great waiter. He had great suggestions and very personable. The whiskey selection and beer options were also worthwhile. I could not find any issue with the food or drinks. The cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. The bar has multiple glass shelves and glassware on display. You can see all the dust on them from the bar. The bar tender tried to get a bottle down from a taller shelf and the bottle got stuck due to the dust underneath. The bathroom had paper all over the floor and an overflowing laundry basket filled with dirty towels. It was Friday night but the restaurant wasn’t very busy even at 7:30. I wonder how long the bathroom had looked that way. I would definitely go back for the food and service but would hope for an overall cleaner restaurant.
