   Great vibe,fantastic food and quality of service. What you would call silver service, white table cloth and real waiter. Cannot go wrong. The food modern with some real Italian flair. Cocktails galore for any serious drinker. Definitely a must go for any foodie. Experience Locale when in Noosa

   Was fantastic food, ordered too much. Octopus and squid ink pasta, as well as the tomato salad was amazing. Duck pasta a bit rich and salty for us. Overall a great restaurant

    Menu seemed unchanged from our last visit 1 year ago. Had to ask for a water refill. No serving utensils with salad. Busier than previous visit which may have contributed to these small issues. Food was well presented. Would have liked more choices for a non seafood diner.

    Words can't do this restaurant justice. You have to experience it for yourself. I rate it as one of the best I have enjoyed anywhere in the world, including several with Michelin stars. Unlike many places in Noosa that trade off their world-class location to justify a lower level of service, quality and value (of which Bistro - C is an excellent example), Locale sets standards that only others in Noosa could hope to match. Locale could go for a Michelin star with no problems at all. Everything about the whole experience at Locale was faultless. Service was seamlessly at hand, and the menu was outstanding. And if you have food allergies, nothing was too much trouble. The chef (a prominent master of their craft) made masterful tastes around dietary needs effortlessly and without fuss. My wife has a very decerning palate and a keen eye for value, and for her to happily see us make a more generous tip than usual said it all. People go to Noosa for the beach and relaxed village atmosphere. We now add dining at Locale as another reason for visiting Noosa. A great job well done by the owners and the whole team at Locale. Finally, a small shout-out to the Boardwalk Bistro. While a different dining experience to Locale, they exceeded our expectations, especially regarding breakfast (which we had also exceeded our expectations, especially regarding breakfast (which we had every day for the week)—a true-to-label, all round excellent service and menu experience.

    Our meal was enjoyable however small portion. In a restaurant of this status having to attract a waiters attention to ask for water and a glass of wine is not good service. We were disappointed after hearing good reviews

    The best food and atmosphere I have ever experienced. I went to Locale for my anniversary and had the most special night. The staff were lovely and the location is perfect if you want to enjoy a more intimate dinner. We will definitely be back.

    We visit Locale each time we are in Noosa (several times per year) and the staff are always very friendly, helpful and have good advice on the food and wine. Some of the staff are long-termers and are dedicated workers. The owners should be very thankful. The food was, as always, fantastic and the wine choices outstanding.

    We have a very enjoyable lunch here. The risotto was to die for. The service was really friendly and the wine list was interesting. Book as it gets busy at night. We would definitely recommend this one.

    Waiter seemed disinterested. Food was ok, without being fantastic when you are paying high end prices. The dessert Millefoglie was anything but. Puff pastry was used. A real disappointment. Great wine list though. Overall, a disappointing meal, way over rated.

    My partner & I celebrated Valentine's Day here, and it was such a great night. The food was all so amazing, we had starters, mains and desserts and we loved everything. Especially the Duck Trofie, it was unlike anything we've ever had. As a pasta lover, and as someone who is pretty great at making it, I was seriously impressed - the amarena cherrys were an awesome touch. The waitor we had (sad I didn't ask his name - he had maybe an English accent, dark short hair?) was so great and lovely to deal with. We tipped because of him (as well as the amazing food). Will definitely be back and will tell my friends.

    Noosa locals looking forward to treating our out of town friends to dinner. Unfortunately the entrée and mains were plated to the wrong people resulting in our cooking preferences being mixed up despite advising the staff who ordered what. Left feeling disappointed and embarrassed after paying the $700 bill.

    Entrees, dessert and wine list was great. The mains were disappointing. The confit duck pasta was very salty and stodgy. The squid ink pasta was very oily and the Mooloolaba prawns pasta had the tiniest prawns.

    One of my local favourites, it's always a pleasure to dine at Locale. However last night, sad to say the service was not up to anywhere near its normal standards that we have come to love and admire. No attention to detail, plates left on tables for a really long period of time, wine service was very slow etc. Overall it just lacked the usual passion & finesse that we have come to expect from this incredible restaurant, which makes it unique from all the rest in Noosa. Food was impeccable, as always. Service, sadly let the team down on this occasion.
