   We were outside, which would have been truly lovely had the super loud motorcycles and pick-up trucks not revved their unnecessarily loud engines as they flew by.

   Our server was pleasant and accommodating. My son loved the pasta bolognese. He kept on saying that he loved it after every bite. The French Toast was another star from the brunch menu. Overall it was a lovely meal for my family.

   My favorite spot in Calistoga. Menu is always updated with fresh choices and has been consistently delicious. I also love the way they properly pay their employees and don’t require tips :)

   The staff was outstanding, helpful and polite, the outdoor space nice and quiet. We have not tried the indoor dining area. read about its history and decided to try it. Food was very good, we went there for brunch.

    A super cute spot in downtown Calistoga with plentiful and beautiful outdoor seating. We went here for Mother’s Day, so it was busy but still felt like there was room. The food was good, but it is on the pricier side. They don’t do tips, which I very much appreciate, but even if I discount the 30% rev share they give their staff, the prices for breakfast items was high. Overall though an excellent experience.

    First of all, the service was excellent. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Our server, Michaley, was informative, friendly and attentive. Her recommendations were excellent. The food arrived hot, was very tasty and came in a good portion. We also are very supportive of their concept of taking care of their staff. We are excited to go back!

    The setting is lovely, the food is delicious, and I applaud their well-advertised practice of paying a living wage to their employees with solid benefits. However, I wish the restaurant would consider being more flexible and consider a more customer-service orientation. They refused to make adjustments to anything we requested, even as simple as doing eggs over well instead of over medium and switching out a flavor from the champagne flight.

    Food was good. We were a party of 4. all 65 and older. Two of us had to sit on a cushioned window seat, no back support was uncomfortable. Found out after the fact that an additional 10$ was added to the bill because 2?of us wanted to split our meals. We would have split them ourselves had we known.

    Can’t give this restaurant enough praise for the food, service and ambiance. The eight of us enjoyed delicious salads and halibut or steak! It was also free corkage Wednesday! Kudos to the owner and management for providing their staff with benefits. Can’t wait to come back to Lovina!

    From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. The table was wonderful. We sat on the second floor outdoors. It was away from the street traffic. The heat lamp kept us warm in the cool evening. The menu provided many good choices. We enjoyed our table fare: bread and endive with hummus and avocado; the starters of: kale salad and mushroom bisque; and the entrees of: bolognese pasta and halibut. Dessert was a treat: a creative "healthy vegan" version of a snickers bar. All in all, a yummy, delightful evening.

    It is always such a joy to have a meal that is crafted. So many eateries use that phrase when they have no business even thinking it that when I am gifted with food that has been thoughtfully sourced, each combination really thought out, cooked perfectly and presented with obvious care and attention I tear up a little! The everything we had--teasers, soup, salad, fish and beef-- was exceptional. I have eaten well in my days, from Chez Panisse to some of the fist slo-food agriturismos in Italy, Sushi in Kyoto prepared by a retired royal chef and I think Lovina is the first and only that I would describe as Sublime. My husband and I kept gasping Oh My Gawd this is Amazing--but we were not alone, all around the restaurant we could hear others sighing, murmuring and the repeated refrains--The Best, So Good, My Gawd, Delicious, Try This, Oh oh ooohhh -- Reasonably priced, convenient location, staff that are well compensated and happy to be at work, comfy seating--bliss, just bliss.

    My daughter and I had a very nice time. We loved sitting on the upper deck and sipping on the most amazing mocktails that were very refreshing after a day of wine tasting Our waitress was super cute and friendly and our pasta very tasty. Looking forward to coming back!

    This is a no tip restaurant the has excellent service and fabulous vegan options. We had the “impossible “ lasagna, a wood mushroom dish, a vegan beat salad, an endive appetizer, vegan cheesecake, vegan peanut butter stuffed dates covered with chocolate and a wonderful Chateau Montelina Zinfandel made for a perfect dinner!

    Incredible atmosphere outdoors under the stars! Food was delicious and fresh, the service was excellent, and the servers were kind and answered all of our questions- we were a table of 11 and none of us had to wait for our wine or food while the others sipped and dined. Love the mission statement of this business-women owned, no tips, empowering employees with living wages from the profits of business and benefits. Incredible place! I will be back.

    From start to finish, the service was incredible. The restaurant or bar manager even made me a new drink off their upcoming menu when I asked for an aperol spritz that they didn’t have. It was incredibly tasty and he went above and beyond. The meal itself was delicious, we had the scallops and the halibut and Mac and cheese. It was my mama’s birthday and they gave her a signed card!     What a delightful, delicious restaurant! We sat on the patio under a heater - perfection. Didn't need the complimentary blanket. Occasionally a motorcycle or semi would come by, but mostly the patio was quiet and cozy. We celebrated our anniversary with Lovina. I appreciated being able to pre-order a bottle of brut to surprise my hubby. And both of us were touched to receive a celebration card signed by the Lovina crew. Food was sensational, fresh and seasonal. I had the beet pavè which was phenomenal, hubby started with mushroom bisque: decadent umami. I continued with the forest floor mushroom dish in romesco sauce - stomp the brakes yum! Hubby went carnivorous with waygu short rib. Moaned with delight. Although we were well satisfied, we still enjoyed dessert - meyer lemon huckleberry bread pudding and a ice cream sundae. Lovina gifted these to us - so incredibly gracious and generous. You've gotta visit Lovina while you're in the valley. Trust me ❤️

    Really good food and awesome service. We ordered an unconventional mix of dishes and our server steered us to a really good wine choice, a Gamay, that hit it on the nose. A very enjoyable dinner.
