   One of our best dining experiences in Calgary. We were greeted with a “happy anniversary!” and “thank you for choosing is for your special day!”… We had complimentary prosecco to celebrate. We had the Crostone (sautéed mushrooms) as an appetizer, for mains I had the lamb chops and my husband the Cioppino (seafood casserole-ish) and the Bavarese for dessert. Everything was impeccable, very delicious and the portions were just right. We had the best seats in the house, on the bar right in front of the action of the open kitchen. The chefs were in a great flow and we enjoyed watching them in their craft. All of the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The ambiance was very cool, it had a modern/vintage/ high-end vibe. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying out their lunch menu!

    True fine Italian dining in all aspects: service, ambience, wine and of course food. Four of us shared 2 antipasto, 2 salads and the steak Florentino. Everything prepared at 10/10 level. Right sized portions with a little Florentino to take home. Pastas (Garaganelli and Fettuccine) were exceptional.

    The service was five star, amazing food and very nice ambience. We ordered the prawns, Brussel sprout salad, fettuccine, scallops and finished with the panacotta. All were very good!

    Beautiful spot. Reasonable value. Our table was somehow not initially assigned to a server but once we had our server, he was fabulous. The food was good. The dessert was excellent. I would recommend the tiramisu.

    Cesar salad was incredible, we also ordered the prawns and they were nothing to write home about for the price. The lobster risotto was fantastic! Huge proportion for two and absolutely delicious. We order the wine from looking online. Unfortunately the date online was 2017, on the menus in the restaurant it is 2020 for the same price and we ended up receiving a 2021 wine. So that was a shame but it was still a nice bottle though. Cocktails need work for sure. Atmosphere was absolutely stunning, low light and cosy with a modern luxury feel. Great for date night. Good and knowledgeable service. Would recommend

    The service was great and the food was excellent. The polenta fries could have used a little more seasoning as they were a touch bland, but they were still good. The lobster risotto was delicious and it says that it is portioned for two people but I would say it would serve 4 people. After sharing some appetizers and other dishes it was hard for two of us to finish it. I appreciated how attentive the staff were. I will happily return.

    It was a great first experience. Jaimie (with an extra ‘I’) was outstanding, very professional and not tentative to share her opinion. Ambience and overall vibe of the room works for all demographics. Food was outstanding, portions were plentiful and didn’t leave hungry or over feed.

    Terrific room, elegant and warm. Loved that the books were real! Lunch menu is compact, focused. Same with the wine list. Nice. A shared appy (octopus - really nicely cooked) and a pasta each was perfect for lunch. A main might be a good share, though. Service was well paced, understated. We were neither rushed nor left waiting. The food is good. Simple, perfectly executed. Only one suggestion: I found my pasta was over-cheesed, hence, too salty. But everyone is different. Maybe serve the cheese at the table? I will ask for that next time. A very nice experience, in all. I look forward to going back.

    Love coming to Luca!! Everything we've tried so far in a couple visits has been delicious. Excited to try lunch. Would have given a perfect 5 stars if they had more than just a classic cocktail list. Put a few recipes from Fleetwood on the menu!

    Had a reservation and was seated before the time requested. Service was excellent and our water was constantly topped up. Was seated by the kitchen so we could see them busy with orders. We enjoyed the meal and had a good time.

    This was our first visit to Luca. We ordered an array of items from the menu for sharing. The risotto was absolutely amazing, as well as the gnocchi, calamari and polenta fries. The chicken was nothing special but cooked well. Compared to the other menu items it was plain - but still a good dish. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, offering good service. We finished the night with dessert, both the baverese and bombolini we delicious. Finished the night with their homemade limoncello! Very smooth.
