   Another fantastic meal at Major Tom’s. Appetizers were fantastic and the chicken and steak were beautiful main courses. Missing the carrot cake for dessert though. Staff was also very good. We were seated in the bar side and it was a bit noisy when we arrived but they turned the music down when we asked.

   The restaurant itself was great but I was very disappointed that the reservations we made two months in advance requesting a window seat for our anniversary was ignored. We were seated among a row of tightly packed tables and that sadly took away from the romantic ambiance we wanted.

   Extremely disappointed this visit. Booked reservation a month ago and got one of the worst tables - in the lounge and I watched as many others came and went into the dining area. This was a first visit for a guest and it was a sad experience. Server was ok but rushed. Food came before our drinks. Not impressed. Ordered two dishes at once. Only one came and then the other later. Food was delicious as usual. But very disappointed in the seating. Why make a reservation to get stuck in a dark corner?

    Great place for some seriously good food. Modern design and friendly staff. A little pricey but well worth it for a special date night and enjoying views of the city.

    The small plates are where it is at. Skip the main courses and get a bunch of small plates, pastas, salads, scallops & shrimp. The best.

    Everything was great in general but the service is very slow. Like even asking for the cheque took forever to come. I feel they are low on staff and can do better since the prices are pretty high for that speed of service

    Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Lacy made the experience even better by being so generous and accommodating my seating with a city view. The food was absolutely delicious recommended by my server.

    We were celebrating my husband’s milestone birthday, which I noted on my reservation, however I felt that the experience was subpar. I’ve been to other fine dining restaurants for many special occasions where they went the extra mile to make sure the birthday guest was recognized and felt extra special, whether it’s a complimentary drink or dessert. There was no recognition by our server at any time, although he was quite lovely otherwise. I feel that this restaurant relies heavily on their location and ambience to make up for the personal extra touches that other restaurants have. It’s unfortunate, as I will not book here again for any milestone occasion nor will I recommend others to do so. I might go back for a casual dinner but with so many other choices in Calgary, that may not be any time soon.

    Views are as amazing as promised! The wait staff was really good! Beautiful restaurant, the food on the other hand was mediocre for the price. VERY COCKTAILS, the overall experience was pretty great!

    Ordered - Lobster crab roll - needs spice/bland - Oysters - yay - Cheese toast - yay - Califkiwer, too salty, double salted from cheese being originally salty - Cavatwlli, spinach was salty - Cheeseburger - good but salty This is my fourth time and will be my last. Ambiance and server was good but Bridgette is so much better than this. Again truly disappointing

    Major Tom is exactly what you expect it to be. Great views, fantastic drinks and the perfect place for a night out. Our waiter Nick made the night an 11/10. Charismatic, knowledgeable and attentive while still giving us time and space to enjoy the night. We’ve been to Barbellas on the first floor - which is at best disorganized chaos - I suggest you skip this stop, go 40 floors up, and enjoy a significantly better experience that’s worth your money.

    Went for my partners birthday (booked far in advance) and they gave us a prime table with a beautiful view, and even had a signed birthday card for her. Our server (Nick) was very kind and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend the potato doughnuts, the lamb, the beet salad, and the chocolate bombe. We will definitely return since there was so much on the menu we wanted to try. Special shoutout to one of the other staff members who was on "sun patrol" and adjusted the blinds so the sun wasn't in our eyes but we still had a great view once it set.

    We really wanted to like this place as we’d heard rave reviews from friends and family. Unfortunately I think all the hype was unwarranted. We were there for golden hour so the menu was limited, we tried the doughnuts, which ended up being quite salty, the Caesar salad, cheese bread and fries were all very good, but then the burger was a major letdown, again super salty. Cocktails were good, but for the price we paid, $150+, it was overpriced and definitely under deliverer, with lots of other great food options in Calgary we likely won’t return. Should also mention that our server was great!

    Restaurant is gorgeous. Service was very good. All the sides were amazing and the cauliflower was top notch. The Alaska dessert was amazing. The only downside was the steak. We paid 100 bucks for a 14 oz rib eye to share was expecting it to match the rest of the experience. Very underwhelming steak for the price and slightly dissatisfied. Overall very good experience and had a lot of fun.
