Marcel has been on our list for years but weren't sure if it would be worth the hype or price - but it exceeded our expectations. The food, cocktails, service, ambiance - everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

This was by far The best dining experience I've had in Atlanta from the food to the amazing service. I can truly say this was the best service I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere else ever. This is defiantly my new spot.

We were here for our Anniversary and a special Anniversary menus greeted us at our table. Our experience was in a word, perfect. In every way. The service was impeccable. We had what can only be described as a team who catered to us completely. Our server was Darryl, who never missed a beat and was there when you needed him and not there when you didn’t. Erin was his back up and she was as sweet as she was efficient. Anthony was the floor manager/sommelier who was personable and professional and we were also delighted to talk with the General Manager, Ray Baker who was proud of the restaurant’s new addition on the old patio area. It really was a stunner and will be even better when they get their window treatments and can tone down some the outside light. We got the Tomahawk Ribeye and the potatoes dauphinois. The steak was pricey at $169 but we split the 30 ounces. It was more than enough for my spouse and me and was juicy, smoky, and delicious. The potatoes were the best we’ve ever had. Marcel’s made our Anniversary magical and we will return.

Marcel is always wonderful and this time was no different. Our bartender, Britney, was a rockstar! While the steaks are amazing, I encourage you to try some of the other items. Stand outs for us are the chicken and the veal parmesan.

We had the most wonderful experience at Marcel. The service was the best service I have ever had. I never had to think about what I needed. The staff was helpful and always there when you needed them, and not when you did not need them. Kevin and his partner (so sorry, I could not hear his name) were amazing. They made it a wonderful experience. One more thing, I was cold, the restaurant provided me with a shawl. Amazing food, Amazing service and Amazing staff.

This was one of my favorite dining experiences in Atlanta! Mark S. was our server, and it is safe to say he has been the best server my fiancé and I have ever experienced. I am extremely picky on dining experiences and food, but since our visit to Marcel, I have been recommending it to everyone I see! Mark S. is one in a million, and he was very knowledgeable on the food! If you ever visit this restaurant, you won't be disappointed, and you must ask for Mark!

We typically find steakhouses to try for special occasions so we decided on Marcel’s. It is true to reviews I had read before going and we enjoyed the food and service. I was disappointed as others have mentioned that you don’t receive a complimentary anything for special occasions aside from a stamped menu. For that reason and that the food and service were not that extraordinary to other steakhouses at the same level we probably will not return for a special occasion.

Oh Marcel, you have my heart! With such beautiful 1940s speakeasy decor, i was in love at first site! The oysters marcel? So buttery and a tiny crunch mixed with oyster taste, delicious. Sweet shrimp scampi was so good and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I ordered the lobster risotto and it's been on my mind since last week! The sweet buttery taste of the lobster in risotto is what guaranteed my love for Marcel! I had a taste of my friend's dishes, one friend ordered chicken paillard with pommes aligot and the way those potatoes were so perfectly cheesy, buttery, and potatoey all in one?! I nearly took over their meal. Our other friend ordered a filet madame with roasted mushrooms and while i did not taste their meal, i had some of the mushrooms and they were so good! I thoroughly underestimated my drink and only had one daiquiri and it was so good yet strong and smooth (i showed up already tipsy, ainno way i was getting dronk at dinner) Our servers were so kind and very attentive through out the night, consistently keeping our area clean and glasses filled. So, with that Marcel is now a favorite of mine. I'll see y'all VERY soon.

WOW. we went for dinner for my brother’s bday and it was AMAZING. Food impecable, incredible taste and perfect presentation. Ambiance was a vibe, dim lights and great music. Dont even get me started on the service. WOW. Mark was our server and he was the best! Gave us recommendations and took great care of us. Will definitely come back. Favorite restaurant in ATL

Our Server, Mark was fantastic! Humorous yet very polished and thorough. The gentleman that provided drinks was super helpful and pleasant to chat with. For ALL the potatoes, seafood and steak options, including a few more vegetable options would welcome the indulgence of the menu highlights. Thank you Marcel for the consistency.

Fantastic restaurant with a even greater feel to it. Amazing waiters, phenomenal food, and a great date night. If you are willing to have one of the most expensive meals of your life, then this is the place to be.

Marcel’s was amazing! I went to celebrate a promotion and they did not disappoint. They’re very informative and take the time to go through each menu section. The waiters (Tucker and Mark) were absolutely amazing. Kept me laughing and eating for over 2hrs! My boyfriend wants to make it a monthly visit just based on the environment alone. Then THE FOOD! I got the Marcel Reserve Cut NY Strip and it was the most tender and well cooked steak I’ve ever had. Idk about monthly, but I’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing night! Service and the food was incredible. We enjoyed the bread with accompaniments, oysters Marcel, beluga caviar, dry aged ribeye, risotto with lobster, pommes dauphinoise, cacio e pepe, chocolate layer cake, and libations. Perfect in every way.

We're visiting the best steakhouses in Atlanta this summer and neither my Dad and I had visited Marcel before yesterday. Wow- we were missing out. The dry-aged ribeye was phenomenal. The sides and dessert were all outstanding. The service was very attentive and memorable. This is one of Atlanta's finest restaurants- period, and I can't wait to come back.

Marcel has always been phenomenal, seems they’ve stepped up service since announcement of Michelin guide beginning to rate Atlanta. Every dish and every one we encountered were impeccable. Once I work through these leftovers, I will be planning my next visit!

We went for our 8th anniversary and they accommodated our last minute table request very gracefully. The service was excellent in general. The food, always phenomenal but the cherry on top was the handwritten anniversary card we were given at the end of our meal. It was so thoughtful and elevated our whole experience.

Marcel always has great food. We were there celebrating a birthday and the table behind us got a candle and small song. Not a big deal, but no special touch given to my friends baked Alaska when it was her time. Small touches we noticed. Waiter seemed to rush us at the end and not friendly after. For the price of this place , the service should always exceed expectations. And it didn’t.

Food was improvement from last time. Bartender kept messing up our drinks. I love their house recipe for the vesper but the measurements were off. We had sent 2 drinks back already so I didn’t want to do it again. Service was very good though.
